This little bottle went with my family and I all over Canada. We loved it!!! We all came home from our travels and everyone couldn't believe the nice deep broze colored tans we had. I just wish I had this years ago...now Nadine please make a product for evening pigmentation so those of us who didn't have this years ago can look as beautiful as you :) Very effective so far :-) I just started using this, summer comes in random bursts here in Ireland and it hasn't gone beyond 20 degrees C, but so far so good, it smells lovely, the lemony, gingery turmeric scents come through and it softens to smell quite floral, on my skin at least. It protected my skin well, I had to reapply it often, as I caught the sun a bit when I wasn't diligent enough. My skin is darker than the average Irish skin, so if you're pale, i think it would be wise to apply often. A little goes a very long way. I put it on after sun exposure too and it leaves my skin really well moisturized, I'm really happy to have found this blend, thanks! A tip for when in prolonged periods in the sun is to drink plenty of water, well this is definitely like water for thirsty skin cells exposed to heat of the sun, quenching their thirst so they don't get scorched, as well. I can't say that it prevented me from burning as I did experience some....but it quickly transformed itself nearly overnight to a tan and it does give a more bronzed look, which is quite nice. This little bottle went with my family and I all over Canada. We loved it!!! We all came home from our travels and everyone couldn't believe the nice deep broze colored tans we had. We are not a particularily dark bunch. My husband is a red head and the rest of us are blonde. But we didn't burn and we didn't get that leathery look either. I waited to write a review because I wanted to see how long my tan would last. It's nearing the end of January and I've spent very little time in the sun since October and I still have some color! I tend to freckle and out of fear wear lots of sunscreen. Well fear no more! This weekend I went to the beach and mixed this product with salt water and WOW, I got nice color, I didn't burn, and my skin feels amazing. Where has this been all my life? This is an essential for everyone this summer. I also love the one with zinc for face, I can't say enough good things about everybody loves the sunshine, it's brilliant. I just wish I had this years ago...now Nadine please make a product for evening pigmentation so those of us who didn't have this years ago can look as beautiful as you :) Very effective so far :-) I just started using this, summer comes in random bursts here in Ireland and it hasn't gone beyond 20 degrees C, but so far so good, it smells lovely, the lemony, gingery turmeric scents come through and it softens to smell quite floral, on my skin at least. It protected my skin well, I had to reapply it often, as I caught the sun a bit when I wasn't diligent enough. My skin is darker than the average Irish skin, so if you're pale, i think it would be wise to apply often. A little goes a very long way. I put it on after sun exposure too and it leaves my skin really well moisturized, I'm really happy to have found this blend, thanks! Sun and skin synergizer This one of my most favourite skin loving product in the world! Smells so divine, a bit more deep & 'herby', a little less sweet than Seabuckthorn Best Skin. Most of all it works! I was skeptical when I first ordered it since I've never used a 100% plant based sun harmonizer before- but I was looking for an affordable, cleaner alternative than all the other sunscreen I've used. I have medium golden/olive skin, but can still get sunburns more so when my skin haven't seen the sun for awhile. I used this all over on the first hot day after winter. It was 26 C degrees and was picnicking under the sun for several hours with no sunburn & sensitivities in sight! Review(s) Great daily sunscreen For me, I like to wear a sunscreen daily on my face, neck and chest. But finding one with the right texture has been tough. This sunscreen is exactly what I have been looking for! Now, I do notice that my face looks slightly paler after I apply it, but it is not at all what I would describe as "chalky". Another positive is that I have found I can wear this on its own without applying any other moisturizer under it. Also, this is NOT greasy and has not caused any increase in clogged pores. Absorbs quickly. I have applied make up over top with no problems at all. The texture and smell are all really pleasant as well. Has kind of a creamy, slightly sweet smell. again perfection This is the perfect product for summer! I tested this last weekend and I got the perfect amount of healthy sun exposure, didn't burn, and it stayed put despite sweating and swimming! Plus I love that it has nourishing ingredients. I have always regretted that I went to lengths to put natural products on my body and then put a chemical sunscreen or synthetic sunblock ontop. Most were ineffective, waxy, and questionably safe. WISH ME LUCK! Shall my face remain freckle-free? Test 1: SUCCESSFUL! I am reporting back after my first test. I am in the tropics and I am a pale, coppery/blonde Western European female. No pigment in my skin. I have been asked if I am an albino (which I am not). Recently, I have decided not to use artificial spray-tans anymore and to just try and get some more color from the sun. Who needs the parabens and chemicals? After watching a video with Nadine talking beautifully about how the sun communicates with our skin, I felt ready and inspired to give it a go. My skin is not used to the sun. Sooo I went to the beach with a friend yesterday morning!! So far, this sunscreen is proving to really work! This is the first time I actually sunbathed on this tropical island and I only used the sunscreen on certain parts of my body. I did not think I would immediately burn the untreated parts (or got distracted and mesmerized by the beauty of the Caribbean ocean and decided not to worry about it), but I still wanted to protection on my knees and feet. The reason I did not apply the sunscreen on my whole body is cause the bottle is a little small and I need the sunscreen for an all-day outdoor event this weekend! So I did not want to use it all and therefore did not protect all of my body this time! I did not use sunscreen on my legs and I did not think I was in the sun for very long. Sure enough, in the evening, the parts that I had forgotton to apply sunscreen to are BRIGHT RED and stinging from a sunburn and the spots where I applied the sunscreen are still normal! Yes, I have bright red, fried lobster colored legs with white knees and feet! LOL! My friend is laughing so hard cause she used commercial sunscreen and forgot her feet, so her feet got a sunburn. So her feet match my legs and mine match hers! We both look silly! She has red feet and I have red legs with white feet. All the places where I put the 'Everybody loves the Sunshine' sunscreen are still normal!! Amazing! I wore a sunhat and also used a special sun parasol for my upper body. So my upper body is hardly affected by the sun. Luckily, Aloe Vera grows here naturally, so I am treating my sun burnt areas with that. Ouchee! It hurts like hell! I am applying fresh Aloe gel and juice from leaves 3 times a day and my skin just soaks it up! So... I know my lobster areas will be ok. As far as the SPF. You can apply it thicker or thinner, so it's up to you. It smells great, feels smooth and applies easily and evenly. The best ever. If this pale girl is protected on a tropical island on a day with clear sky (we only had a palm tree giving us some shade)... basically this sunscreen will work for everybody. Albino's included. Just make sure you apply it well and don't overdo the sun exposure! Don't forget any spots! Since this is a physical, zinc-based block, you will look a little pale from it (with a generous application). But that can be easily fixed by adding a layer of mineral pigment make-up. So for my face, I just use this sunscreen as a moisturizer and primer to wear underneath my mineral make-up. Works beautifully! I can't afford not to wear sunscreen, so I HAVE to wear some pigmented natural powder over it, if I don't want to look like a ghost. For my body, I don't mind that so much and I apply it less thickly. I have tried several natural, zinc-based sunscreens and this one is BY FAR the best ever!! I am so pleased! It smells GREAT! I went away on Canada Day long weekend to montreal where the sun was scorching hot. I applied it to my face, neck and shoulders and i didn't get burnt or turn red. So the next day , I decided to conduct a test by applying it only on my face/neck and leave my shoulders exposed with the drugstore sunscreen. Well what a surprised- the skin that didn't have the living Libation suncreen on it got red and burnt while my face+ neck was not affected. Wow, this stuff is the greatest. Many essential oils exert their antibacterial effect by interfering with the bacteria’s ability to breathe. On the other hand, antibiotics interfere with the life cycle, or metabolism of, bacteria, but since bacteria are very crafty creatures, they change their chemistry and genes, which makes the antibiotic less effective the next time it is used. As a result, new generations of antibiotics will need to be developed to stay ahead of these organisms. Many people have asked us, “What is the difference between the two and which should I use?” The answer is that they have the same effect and the same excellent results, yet they contain different synergies of botanicals. This rate of absorption is even higher inside the mouth and its moist tissues where the skin wall, or epithelium, is only one cell thick. This is especially true if one has bleeding gums where anything in the mouth will have direct access to the bloodstream. We would not want to put anything in, on, or around the body that could not be swallowed. With ingredients, discernment is important. How these products are different than regular toothpaste and actually nourish the oral ecology:Mouth Math: acid + bacteria = inflammation = plaque = tartar = bleeding = sensitivity = decay = receding gums = exposed dentin = decay = lower immunity for overall health. The middle of the tooth is a pulp cavity and it contains nerve endings and blood vessels. Teeth are "alive" similar to the crystalline calcium make up of coral reefs.
