My previous shampoo had irritated my scalp and wreaked havoc on my hair, so I took the plunge and bought it because I really needed something effective to soothe and rebalance my scalp. True Blue Spirulina is one of those rare 100% natural shampoos, and it has the most amazing ingredients, including a number of anti-inflammatory Azulene-rich oils like German Chamomile, Blue Tansy and Yarrow. Since Azulene generally imparts products a vivid blue colour, I was expecting the shampoo to be bright blue, but it’s a dark olive green. The smell is intoxicating and the first term that came to my head as I was rubbing this on it was ‘enchanted forest.’ I guess this is what I’d imagine an enchanted forest to smell like. It lathers well for a natural shampoo (I’m told yucca root creates the suds) and it has a soothing (almost cooling, in a non-mentholated way) effect on the scalp. I’ve used it for less than a week, and my scalp is already flake-free and my hair super soft. I don’t know how Nadine formulates these products, but they are truly exceptional.  From straw to soft and healthy!  OH and your hair products....OMG! Up until now I had never considered trying another shampoo until LL came out with the Spirulina. I ordered a small bottle out of sheer curiosity, and I am so glad I did! The Spirulina seems to be much more lathering than the Seabuckthorn, and that has made all of the difference for me. It's much easier to spread through my fine hair without feeling like I am pulling it out. And my goodness, my hair was soft when it dried! Before I even finished the sample bottle, I felt compelled to order the largest size possible. (No 1000 mL?!) The smell is so energizing! I love the orange undertones. True Blue Spirulina Shampoo & conditioner I have been a big fan of the Seabuckthorn shampoo & conditioner for the last couple of years and have used those religiously. My hair has never looked shinier and healthier. But now I have tried the new True Blue Spirulina Shampoo & Conditioner and am *in LoVe* with them as well....the smell is intoxicating and divine. I am constantly trying to smell my hair all day. I'm not sure which shampoo/conditioner I love more now. I think my hair is more shiny with the Seabuckthorn but more volume with the True Blue. I would love it if you offered the True Blue set in the 1000ml. size as well. Nadine has done it again! I never thought I would try another shampoo after discovering Living Libations Seabuckthorn shampoo, but of course I had to try the Blue Spirulina. Okay haha how many of you thought oh god no don't do it! Lol. No it is nothing that bad. Back in June I ran out of my favorite shampoo and conditioner and I haven't really had the money to order them lately. So, I decided to do an experiment :) and not wash my hair for a little while. As time went by I had a few occasions where I could choose some other shampoo and conditioner that just wasn't even vibrating with me or I could keep on experimenting, which of course won each time as it is more exciting than "not exciting shampoo and conditioner." Yes, when you are extremely sensitive and have an energetic experience with your shampoo and conditioner like I do, it is exciting to find a shampoo and conditioner you really like. So today, as I have been packing and preparing to move soon, I came across a small amount of my favorite shampoo still left in the bottle. Apparently because I ran out of conditioner and they are usually a pair I just interpreted that as being out.completely. The experiment went very well probably I suppose I would be categorized as somebody with normal hair. It has never been extremely dry like having a dry scalp and having dandruff nor have I ever had greasy hair, my hair just doesn't get greasy. So the experiment went on and on... it was pretty fascinating actually I was surprised my head didn't get stinky or itchy or something, lol. I did brush water through my hair every morning but I didn't actually wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner... Until today when I found that little bit of shampoo and it was so nice and my hair feels so happy, even without conditioner. Thank you #livinglibations and Nadine Artemis for making happiness :) My fine hair finally has VOLUME!!! My hair had become very fine and thin over the years. Since I've tried this shampoo and conditioner my hair looks the way it did when I was a little girl! Completely revived! Volume and soft waves are back. Exactly what I was looking for. Worth the money!  True Blue Hair Products are amazing! I have dry hair and this fall it got even drier. I purchased the True Blue Shampoo and Conditioner and my hair feels amazing. These are the most hydrating hair products I have ever used. I live in a high/dry climate and need all the moisture I can get. Nadine you did it again! I love all of your products and I use a lot of them! PS: my standards for pure, effective and "clean" products are exceptionally high. You go above and beyond all expectation. This can also be used as a styling product when hair is dry, to tame the frizzies or fly-away hairs in place, and to define curly/wavy hair. Whenever my hair is freshly washed using the Libations shampoo and conditioner, my friend always says to me cutely, "You smell pretty". Transformational I have very thick, wavy hair, that tends to be dry and turns out to be a bouffant even if air dried naturally. I'm not fond of using gels, waxes and other styling products to keep it down because they tend to dry it out more. The hard, limey parisian water and this Winter's cold have only exacerbated the problem. Two days ago I started using the Seabuckthorn Shampoo and Shine On hair Conditioner. I finally have soft, shiny, bouncy, healthy hair. I no longer have issues of build up, dryness, or split ends. I would never be without the living libations shampoo and conditioner. These are two of the best products I have ever used. Ever. Sheer perfection. LOVE!! The shampoo/conditioner duo is the best. I've been through many "natural" shampoos (which were not truly natural, like these), and I have finally fallen in love. My fine, straight, long hair (which gets very tangled when wet - and the conditioner was unbelievably easy to comb through) is healthy, shiny, soft, bouncy, smells delicious and is not getting greasy at the scalp. I think I will be able to wash it even less often and I'm so happy I can rest assured that I'm treating my hair well - finally!!! The only caveat - with camomile (in the shampoo) and citrus (orange, grapefruit, lime in both) extracts, the shininess is unbelievable, but veers my dark brown (dyed) hair definitely towards red/blond, which is great in summer, it looks sunkissed - will have to rethink if I really intend to keep my hair dark in the future. Though these products are even tempting me to stop coloring my hair for a while and see how luscious it becomes with its natural color, that I previously always found dull...

I've been through many "natural" shampoos (which were not truly natural, like these), and I have finally fallen in love. My fine, straight, long hair (which gets very tangled when wet - and the conditioner was unbelievably easy to comb through) is healthy, shiny, soft, bouncy, smells delicious and is not getting greasy at the scalp. I think I will be able to wash it even less often and I'm so happy I can rest assured that I'm treating my hair well - finally!!! The only caveat - with camomile (in the shampoo) and citrus (orange, grapefruit, lime in both) extracts, the shininess is unbelievable, but veers my dark brown (dyed) hair definitely towards red/blond, which is great in summer, it looks sunkissed - will have to rethink if I really intend to keep my hair dark in the future. This Shampoo has transformed my hair from "hay like" to silky smooth I have thick, coarse hair, which I highlight blonde every 2 months. At 34 years old (having done the highlighting since I was 26) you can imagine my hair is pretty dry. I have been seriously spoiled by Nadine Artemis and her Living Libations products. I tried them out (shampoo, conditioner and underarm charm) a few months ago, and then thought I'd switch to something else after, but since then nothing else has compared. I am hooked! What a fine product line you have created Ms. Nadine! My hair is very thick and wavy (even though it is always flat ironed and straight in my photos). It is also color treated & therefore a bit dry and damaged (I have highlights). I wasn't a fan right off the bat. The first shampoo I did not like it. After I got out of the shower, my hair felt like I had wax in it. I didn't get it. And the conditioner was really light and I thought is wasn't "rich enough". I thought the product was faulty. I even contacted the company. They immediately replaced the product (amazing customer service) but I realized it wasn't the product at all. My hair felt waxy residue from the wax from other shampoos and conditioners that were being removed. Then I actually came to enjoy the light conditioner. I noticed my hair felt softer, smoother, cleaner, lighter, and had more volume since it wasn't all gunked down. If I needed to tame any fly aways a very light touch of coconut oil did the trick perfectly. My scalp felt great, my hair felt great. Once I ran out of product I swtiched to another natural shampoo and conditioner and I immediately felt the waxy residue on my hair again. It feels like it never really gets clean. I think I never really knew what clean hair felt like until I used Nadine Artemis products. My hair has never looked shinier and healthier. But now I have tried the new True Blue Spirulina Shampoo & Conditioner and am *in LoVe* with them as well....the smell is intoxicating and divine. I am constantly trying to smell my hair all day. I'm not sure which shampoo/conditioner I love more now. I think my hair is more shiny with the Seabuckthorn but more volume with the True Blue. Okay haha how many of you thought oh god no don't do it! Lol. No it is nothing that bad. It's safe enough to use on my semi-colour treated hair, safe enough to be shampooed onto my body, practical enough to be diluted and used even with my toddler if need be. Living in Calgary for 13+ years, my naturally wavy/curly hair has suffered because of the dry climate and hard (HARD!) water. A couple of weeks use of this shampoo has cleared off all that mineral build up and allowed my curls to live again. The only downside for me is that it's a big strong for my dyed hair, and I noticed that my colour had faded much faster than usual. What a fine product line you have created Ms. Nadine! My hair is very thick and wavy (even though it is always flat ironed and straight in my photos). It is also color treated & therefore a bit dry and damaged (I have highlights). I wasn't a fan right off the bat. The first shampoo I did not like it. After I got out of the shower, my hair felt like I had wax in it. I didn't get it. And the conditioner was really light and I thought is wasn't "rich enough". I thought the product was faulty. I even contacted the company. They immediately replaced the product (amazing customer service) but I realized it wasn't the product at all. My hair felt waxy residue from the wax from other shampoos and conditioners that were being removed. Then I actually came to enjoy the light conditioner. I noticed my hair felt softer, smoother, cleaner, lighter, and had more volume since it wasn't all gunked down. If I needed to tame any fly aways a very light touch of coconut oil did the trick perfectly. My scalp felt great, my hair felt great. Once I ran out of product I swtiched to another natural shampoo and conditioner and I immediately felt the waxy residue on my hair again. It feels like it never really gets clean. I think I never really knew what clean hair felt like until I used Nadine Artemis products. It does take some adjustment period for hair if you aren't used to more natural shampoo options. I transitioned quite a while ago, but this has been our favorite natural shampoo so far. Incredibly Good! First, this smells INCREDIBLY GOOD! I just can't stop smelling my hair, and my family and friends keep commenting on how good my hair smells. Secondly, remember this is natural and might take a little time for your hair to get used to if you're switching from commercial shampoo and conditioner - give it some time. Third, it's true, I only have to wash/condition my hair once a week. Granted, I've been using natural shampoos and conditioners for a few years now, so I didn't have to train my hair with this product, so again, if you've just switched from commercial products, it may take you a few months to get down to a once a week washing (i.e. be a little "oily" for a few days, its good for your hair) I highly recommend this product - don't be shocked by the price and the size, it doesn't take but a wee pearl to have your hair clean and smell goody. It makes your scalp tingle in a good way, and even though I just started using it, it seems as if it is going to bring out more of the natural colors in my hair. Using the tonic along with the shampoo and conditioner, my hair and my head are going to be very happy. Gorgeous! I can't believe no one has reviewed this yet! I use this at least once a week, sometimes twice. Massage into my scalp, leave on overnight. Use Living Libations shampoo and conditioner next morning. Amazingly, I only have to lather up once with the shampoo to get the excess out. Result? My hair is much fuller, shinier, and get this...still no grey hair, which is amazing past 40. ;)
