Antonio - Arbutus Honey 1kg (Raw, Organic, Runny)
Raw Honey Shop Antonio - Arbutus Honey 1kg (Raw, Organic, Runny)
Description Asterios raw organic arbutus honey is an incredibly deep tasting type. It is quite bitter, like roasted coffee beans and bitter dark chocolate. It has a beautiful after taste, but many are put off by its medicinal main flavour. This is a connoisseur variety for those with a love of unique and potent honey.  It is one of the most overt tasting varieties we have experienced! Colour: This particular honey is a very dark brown when runny with a shade of purple and a hint of deep red in the light. Where does the honey come from? This variety of Arbutus honey comes from the northern mountain ranges of Madrid in Spain known as Sierra De Guadarrama. Who produces this honey? The bees of Antonio Simone, a 4th generation beekeeper who takes pride in producing honey in a traditional way without adding or taking away anything. Antonio's hives are based in the mountain ranges north of Madrid, his beekeeping practices and the land he has his hives on have been certified as organic by the Committee of Organic Agriculture in Madrid. What about the plant the honey comes from? The Arbutus unedo bush is an evergreen, also known as modrono in Spanish and is nicknamed 'strawberry tree' due to its fruit that look a little like strawberry. However, these berries are not overly sweet, leaning more to acidic, but they are apparently very refreshing. The fruit of this bush is used in traditional Chinese medicine. Common uses: Arbutus honey is known as a gourmet honey by connoisseurs and those with adventurous tastes, so it really adds a unique flavour to dishes. Savoury foods really benefit from its rich, bittersweet taste. Arbutus honey facts: Arbutus honey is a rare variety and one of the most potent tasting types you can find. A unique and rare type that is only found in good quantity in 3 places in the world, Portugal, Sardinia and Greece.  It contains homogentisic acid which gives it its brown pigment as well as other unique properties. Please know that raw honey does crystalise and this is a natural process that occurs mainly due to the natural glucose in raw honey.
Antonio - Chestnut Honey 1kg (Raw, Organic) Antonio - Chestnut Honey 970g (Raw, Organic)
Raw Honey Shop Antonio - Chestnut Honey 1kg (Raw, Organic)
Description Antonio's Raw Organic Chestnut Honey is a deep and malty-tasting tree honey. It has a beautiful, rich and nutty flavour, which many people adore. This honey comes from bees feeding on sweet chestnut trees. It is quite different from the blossom varieties which are light and subtle - this is dark and more potent.  More on the flavour: Antonio's raw organic chestnut honey is a beautiful, deep-flavoured variety. It has slight caramel notes as well as a deep sweetness and a touch of bitterness too. The nutty flavour of the chestnut carries through as well as a taste a little similar to maple syrup but slightly more rich and malty. Chestnut can lend a bitter taste to honey but not always, it is known to be one of the most varied types of honey in taste, differing greatly from one area to another and from one season to the next. Colour of this batch : Mid to dark brown, a slight red in the light.   Where does the honey come from?  This variety of chestnut honey comes from the mountains around Burgos in northern-central Spain. Who produces the honey?  The bees of Antonio Simone, a 4th generation beekeeper who takes pride in producing honey in a traditional way without adding or taking away anything. Antonio's hives are mainly based in the mountains north of Madrid. His beekeeping practices and the land he has his hives on have been certified as organic by the Committee of Organic Agriculture in Madrid What about the plant the honey comes from? The sweet chestnut tree, also known as Castano in Spanish, is a large deciduous tree which produces edible nuts. The bees feed on the tree's sap and blossoms. Common Uses: Chestnut honey is particularly good to use in different recipes, such as: cakes, cookies, desert toppings, ice creams, warm honey teas, salads and meat glazes.  Also, it is delicious poured over cheeses. This is because of the rich, nutty and malty flavour it lends. More Chestnut Honey Facts: Chestnut honey is often higher in fructose than other types, this serves as good source of energy. Hence, a spoon of chestnut honey helps to relieve fatigue immediately. Please note that this current batch of Chestnut does appear to be crystalising very quickly.  If you have found that your honey has started to crystalise and you would prefer it liquid you can do this:- Put it on a radiator and drape a tea towel over the jars. Then leave it overnight. If it's not liquid by morning then leave it a little longer. You might think that the heat from this process will damage the honey - the important thing is that you don't heat the honey beyond 40 degrees (which is how hot the hive can get in the summer when the bees are at work evaporating moisture to thicken the honey). If the radiators are very hot then put something like a book under the jars and then drape a tea towel over the jars. The book will protect the honey from direct heat above 40 degrees from the radiator and the tea towel will ensure that hot air can circulate around the honey helping to liquefy it.

Antonio - Organic Bee Pollen - 225g (Fresh, Raw, Organic) (stored frozen)
Raw Honey Shop Antonio - Organic Bee Pollen - 225g (Fresh, Raw, Organic) (stored frozen)
Description Antonio's fresh organic multifloral pollen is frozen right out of the hive. This is the best way to have pollen unless you have your own hives. Bee pollen contains a wide variety of long-chain fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and trace elements as well as enzymes from the bees themselves. Fresh pollen has more available nutrients than dried pollen, and because it isn't hardened from being dried, the body can more readily absorb the natural goodness without needing to be reconstituted On the flavour: This pollen has a mildly sweet taste, similar to very ripe Russet apples and raisins, but much more mild. It is very easy to enjoy from the very first time, with a pleasant flavour that does not linger overly long on the palate. Colour: This particular pollen is bright yellow and orange with the occasional purple grains. Who produces this pollen?  The bees of Antonio Simone, a 4th generation beekeeper who takes pride in producing pollen in a traditional way without adding or taking away anything. Antonio's hives are based in wild areas north of Madrid. His beekeeping practices and the land he has his hives on have been certified as organic by the Committee of Organic Agriculture in Madrid. What plants does this pollen come from? The wild flowers and flora of northern Madrid are varied amongst the mountainous regions. There are spring narcissi, crocuses, lavenders, brimeura, gagea and romulea just to name a few that are in multifloral honey! Common uses: Pollen has been used throughout the ages as a source of food and nourishment. It can be used as a topping for yoghurt or cereal, blended into smoothies, mixed into salad dressings and many other uses so long as it is not heated, which would damage some of the nutrients. Pollen facts: Long ago, the Greeks and Romans called natural bee pollen "the life-giving dust" or the secret "ambrosia", which was eaten to acquire eternal youth. Pollen was entombed with pharaohs, used by the American Indians, and for centuries by tribes in China. Bees have pollen sacks, which they collect the pollen in to take back to the hive. The brood needs a lot of protein to aid its growth, and so for short periods of time the beekeepers harvest the pollen by placing small brushes at the entrance of the hive. This brushes off the pollen grains, which are collected, and the bees are then left to collect without further interference. Important notices: Allergies: If you are affected by hay fever, then bee pollen can cause an allergic reaction. If you are in any doubt it is advisable to take just a few grains initially and then wait to see if you get a reaction. If you don't, gradually increase the dosage until you are sure it is not negatively affecting you. Transit: Fresh frozen items are sent in insulated boxes with an ice pack to keep them cool.  While in transit, the items may defrost.  This is normal and will not harm the quality of the items.  Fresh items are safe to remain in transit for up to one week and can be used as normal once received. As soon as you receive it, be sure to put it either into the fridge for immediate use or the freezer for later use.

His beekeeping practices and the land he has his hives on have been certified as organic by the Committee of Organic Agriculture in MadridWhat our Customers Say I was born by the Mediterranean Sea and we had big rosemary bushes in the garden. We use rosemary to cook too. Rosemary-bees and honey is part of me.  My first order was eclectic because I wanted to try what was on offer.  My second order included 3 rosemary honey jars because I just loved it.  I believe in food synergy and use honey for breakfast on organic honey with 2 tablespoons of chia seeds.  The honey was luscious, thick and addictive. It is now part of my morning. Marzia My first experience of truly delicious honey occurred when I was 18 and taking a gap year before starting university. During this time, I spent 6 weeks on Crete and had raw honey and yoghurt every day. It was extraordinary - fragrant and complex, unlike any honey I'd had before. I have tried many honeys' since and your Rosemary honey comes closest. It tastes of dry, hot sunshine and Rosemary tinged sweetness. Kelly The rosemary honey is my favourite firstly because of the wonderful flavour. It evokes happy memories of living in Spain; warmth, sun and the enormous rosemary bush that lived outside our kitchen window.  We would watch the bees merrily pollenating and wonder what it would taste like. Now we know!! Izzy

Antonio - Wild Lavender Honey 1kg (Raw, Organic)
Raw Honey Shop Antonio - Wild Lavender Honey 1kg (Raw, Organic)
Description Antonio's Raw Organic Wild Lavender honey is a light and pleasing herb flower honey, it has floral notes and a creaminess like vanilla - but doesn't have quite as strong a flavour as honey from cultivated lavender. This honey comes from bees feeding on the wild lavender bushes in Spain. It is different from the tree sap honey which is often dark in appearance and strong in taste, this honey tends to be very mild, light and softer in taste. Colour: This particular honey is a light shade of orange, going a creamy light brown colour when set. Where does the honey come from? This variety of wild lavender honey comes from the northern mountain ranges of Madrid in Spain known as Sierra De Guadarrama. Who produces the honey?  The bees of Antonio Simon, a 4thgeneration beekeeper who takes pride in producing honey in a traditional way without adding or taking away anything. Antonio's hives are mainly based in the mountain ranges of north of Madrid. His beekeeping practices and the land he has his hives on have been certified as organic by the Committee of Organic Agriculture in Madrid Any information about the plant the honey comes from? The wild lavender plant is a herbaceous perennial shrub, sometimes known as cantueso in Spanish. You find it growing everywhere on mountain sides and the uncultivated common land that is so widespread in Spain. The oil from lavender is widely used as an essential oil in aromatherapy, because it is said to aid relaxation and sleep. Common Uses: Wild lavender honey is good for protecting and soothing abrasions and burns (although obviously see your doctor if it is a bad abrasion or burn). It is also especially good poured over cheese! And because it is so mild children love it on its own and appreciate the subtle taste. More Wild Lavender honey facts: The Greeks and Romans used it to scent their baths and their linen. The word œlavender is from the Latin verb œlavare, which means œto wash. Wild lavender honey is a favourite of many due to its beautiful delicate flavour. It is said to assist in a good nights sleep if used in a pillow.  What our customers say We are very pleased with your service, we have just opened our jar of Antonio's Lavender raw honey and the aroma and taste is exceptional. The best we have ever had. William, Cheshire So called 'healthy options' still have all kinds of additives. It is fantastic to see that there are farmers/producers out there that are still following their ancestor's trades without making any changes. I am in love with the Wild Lavender Honey'.No name supplied. Please know that raw honey does crystalise and this is a natural process that occurs mainly due to the natural glucose in raw honey.
APE Nutrition - Bone Broth Liquid Concentrate 300g (Grass-Fed & Organic) APE Nutrition - Bone Broth Liquid Concentrate 300g (Grass-Fed & Organic)
Ape Nutrition APE Nutrition - Bone Broth Liquid Concentrate 300g (Grass-Fed & Organic)
Bone Broth is one of nature’s true superfoods. We make ours by slow cooking organic, grass-fed and regeneratively farmed beef bones to create a nutrient dense and delicious liquid broth concentrate, which is rich in naturally occurring collagen as well as a whole host of amino acids like glycine, proline and glutamine. Just as nature intended.  Making it this way means that it’s both nutrient and flavour dense, so you only need to add one tsp to a meal or drink to get a whole host of nutrition as well as massively enhancing the taste.High in protein and containing naturally occurring collagen, it contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and muscle mass. And, being a whole food it also contains trace amounts of beneficial minerals such as iron, potassium and copper. Each jar contains a 30 day supply.   WHY BONE BROTH? Bone Broth is likely the most consumed food throughout history. Up until the last century, humans would have been drinking bone broth on a daily basis - potentially multiple times per day. Therefore we’ve evolved consuming this superfood and our biology is set up to thrive on it.  It’s an amazing source of protein and collagen, whilst also containing trace amounts of electrolytes, so contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and muscle mass.  However, there’s human research demonstrating that protein and collagen, bone broth’s two key nutrients, do so much more than this.    HOW TO USE: Consume 10-20 grams per day. One lumped tsp = roughly 10g. Stir one tsp into a cup of hot water to make a tea or into your favourite dishes to boost nutritional benefits and taste.  We love adding it to stews, bolognaise, chilli and mixing it with white rice (once cooked) - the flavour is amazing and it’s such an easy way to give your meals a nutritional boost.  But our favourite way to take it is by making a tea. You add one tsp to boiling hot water and that’s it. We drink this first thing every morning to line our stomach before consuming coffee to protect our gut lining. More on this in the Science of Nose-to-Tail section below. *Store in a cool, dry place & away from children. Wholefood Colostrum Capsules 90 count - 500 mg capsules (Immune Tree)

Ok I love colostrum and the immune tree are brilliant for me ! I spend an awful lot on supplements but I always have my immune tree colostrum and it definitely improves my immune system , I suffer from Addison's ( major and total adrenal insufficiency) I don't produce any of my own cortisol and it's exhausting even with replacing with hydrocortisone as it's a fixed dose three times daily and not my body regulating the dose. However since I began to take colostrum every day I have indeed noticed some increase in stamina and definitely improved immunity. I'd highly recommend this colostrum to any one and everyone wanting that extra boost for the immune system.
