Review(s) Actually Nourishes I have tried nearly every department store and top-shelf lip balm (seriously), and all of them tote 'long-lasting' 'ultra-moisturizing' 'natural', only to leave me with dry, unnatural tasting and smelling lips, and having to re-apply every hour at best. Three times over 8 hours, and I'd imagine less in an area that isn't so dry. It smells delicious, like Big Red gum :) and I love the tingly feel (I think that keeps me from licking/biting my lips), and flushed look I get on my lips. Even when the slickness of fresh application is gone, it doesn't leave me with dry lips that I have to immediately re-moisturize, just a moisturized feeling like I'm well-hydrated if that makes sense. I was hoping I would be swayed away from pricey, goopy mainstream lip glosses after trying this stuff, and I believe I have been. Such good ingredients in here, and I don't feel worried at all about some of the balm getting in my mouth and ingesting nasty chemicals. It has a very "melt on your mouth" consistency, but stays on my lips well. Leaves your lips with a nice sheen that is very natural looking. In just a few days of use, my chronically dry lips are healing. The cinnamon offers a bit of plumping and a reddish hue too. I prefer the blushing balm because I like the intensity of color, however, this comes in conventional roll-up tube which makes application more convenient.

Not only does it impart a delicate sheen to the lips, most of all it works fantastically as a luminizer or highlighter, seemingly adding moon beams to illuminate the face. I use it swiped across the cheekbones, below the eyes, in the cupid's bow and just below eye brows, as well as on special occasions, above my decolleté.
