A liquid pearl of holy anointing oil from the tree of life, frankincense essential oil, Boswellia carterii, is from the sap of the frankincense tree. It has been mentioned in Egyptian medical texts including the Ebers Papyrus, which documents over eight hundred medicinal formulas. The Egyptians used large amounts of myrrh, rituals, medicines, cosmetics and embalming. In Chinese medicine, the use of myrrh was recorded as early as 600 CE during the Tang Dynasty for medicinal formulas. For thousands of years myrrh has been praised as one of the most effective substances for sore gums by herbalists and by practitioners of TCM. Ancient Greece valued myrrh for its astringent and antiseptic properties to treat wounds. In addition to its antiseptic, antimicrobial and astringent properties, it has used by people wishing to stimulate circulation in the gum tissue. Myrrh’s oral history includes it being used for swollen, spongy gums, canker sores, and sore throats.
Peppermint, Mentha piperita, helps with digestion and has an analgesic and cooling anti-inflammatory effect. Ingesting peppermint oil reduces levels of oxidized fats in body tissue and reverses declines in glutathione that were caused by radiation exposure. Our peppermint is a genuine distillation of the fresh leaves and comes from a fourth generation family of distillers in France. It is important to understand that the peppermint flavouring in commercial toothpaste is artificial menthol and offers no benefit in preventing gingivitis. Real peppermint is a potent anti-oxidant and inhibits the bacterium that causes tooth decay.
Tea Tree Oil, Malaleuca alternifolia, from the paper bark tea tree, has been used for thousands of years as a medicinal plant by the Australian Aborigines. Tea tree oil has anti-viral, anti-fungal, and anti-bacterial properties, and is “A therapeutic agent in chronic gingivitis and periodontitis, conditions that have both bacterial and inflammatory components.” Tea tree is very high in natural anti-inflammatory agents and contains the plant-chemicals cineol and propanol, both kinds of natural chemicals that can decrease gingivitis and reduce plaque. Tea tree also helps stop the approach of bacteria and is very astringent and antiseptic. In a scientific dental study, a genuine distillation of tea tree oil (2.5%) proved effective in the treatment of chronic of gingivitis and inflammation. High in natural anti-inflammatory, antibacterial constituents of 1.8 –cineol, terpinen-4-ol, tea tree essential oil decreased the level of gingival teeth and reduced plaque scores in the study. Furthermore, the study showed that a total of 162 oral bacteria isolates (including streptococcus) were inhibited and rapidly destroyed by tea tree oil concentrations of less than 2%. The study concluded, “The components of Tea Tree Oil are known to have lipophilic properties which facilitate its diffusion through the epithelium. If Tea Tree Oil is readily absorbed after topical application into the gingival tissues and has anti-inflammatory properties once it has entered the connective tissues, it would be a unique non-toxic agent.” The Healthy Gum Drops formula contains more than 2% of this astringent and antiseptic essence.
Thyme Linalool, Thymus officinalis linalool, is a rare variety of the thyme species. It is both antiseptic and gentle. Thyme Linalool balances oral salivary secretions, stimulates the immune system, and acts as a decongestant. Overall, it is a tonifying and effective immuno-stimulant with anti-bacterial agents.
Essential oils in their unique nature are all antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral to varying degrees. In the book Beyond Antibiotics, Michael Schmidt devotes an entire chapter to the antimicrobial efficacy of essential oils, and states, “One of the advantages essential oils have over antibiotics is that bacteria do not develop resistance to essential oils. Many essential oils exert their antibacterial effect by interfering with the bacteria’s ability to breathe. On the other hand, antibiotics interfere with the life cycle, or metabolism of, bacteria, but since bacteria are very crafty creatures, they change their chemistry and genes, which makes the antibiotic less effective the next time it is used. As a result, new generations of antibiotics will need to be developed to stay ahead of these organisms. Additionally says Schmidt, “another advantage to essential oils is that some actually stimulate immune function.”

Ozone is especially beneficial for lifting your oral ecology to a new balance and to add variety to your daily care. Step One: The Salt RinseMake a salt water solution to keep in your bathroom (16oz of spring water to 1oz of salt in a mason jar). Add a drop of Neem Karoli Baba Tooth Serum or Healthy Gum Drops. Start with a salt water rinse before brushing. Use a little shot glass, pour in a bit of brine, swish and spit.
Step Two: Scraping the TongueHolding ends of tongue scraper, gently scrape the tongue from back to front 2-3 times. Rinse the scraper off each time.
Step Three: Brushing the GumsUse a dry (ionic) toothbrush; add one drop of Neem Karoli Baba Tooth Serum, or Healthy Gum Drops, or Ozonated Healthy Gum Gel to one tiny drop of Neem Enamelizer on the brush. Brush gum down towards teeth for two minutes. Use special care over the gum line.

Step Five: Checking the Gum LinesCheck gum lines for any remaining plaque; use a rubber tip gum tool with a drop of either Neem Karoli Baba Tooth Serum or Healthy Gum Drops or Ozonated Healthy Gum Gel.
Step Six: FlossingFloss two times!Apply a drop of Neem Karoli Baba Tooth Serum or Healthy Gum Drops along the floss.

Baking Soda, Sodium bicarbonate, commonly known as baking soda, or bicarbonate of soda, is a naturally occurring substance in the human body and found dissolved in numerous mineral springs. There's no doubt about it - this is my favourite toothpaste ever. Such a smooth and pleasant feeling to use it. Lovely feel of having been thoroughly cleansed AND refreshed in my mouth. I might be having a bit of an addiction with the taste and smell. It is SO good. It is more sweet, fresh/wood'ish and aromatic than the clay and neem products. I feel all happy at night, when I go out to brush my teeth - I'm like: 'Yaaay - I'm using the frankincense paste!' So easy to use and will last a very long time. The last bottle I bought lasted for 8 months - so you really get value for your money.

Over the years I have made numerous efforts to wean myself off the drugstore nasties when it comes to toothpaste. Despite enjoying so many of your product as an addition to my mouth care and trying all sorts of natural products, sensitive teeth that stain easily kept me coming back to to sensodine and co. I was never comfortable using those kind of products in the thin membranes of the mouth and so close to my brain! This paste is amazing. I have been using it for over a month with no sensitivity, which has never happened before without special toothpaste and my teeth are really white and healthy. I’ve had issues with other creams causing irritation around my eyes. So opting for no cream was the best for awhile. Then I believe I had some perioral dermatitis (it appeared to be similar if not that) that I think popped up after hydrocortisone use, and the time before after use of a steroid when I had covid. It’s been 1 week since I’ve been using this combo and the irritation around my eyes is diminishing. I also put the serum around my nose where the perioral dermatitis is and it seems to be getting better also. The eye cream hasn’t caused any new irritation like other creams either! I can’t recommend LL to enough people, I’m such a big advocate when I love something. These products aren’t only “clean” they are nourishing!!!

Making one's skin glow like the moon
I adore this multipurpose pot of moon magic. Not only does it impart a delicate sheen to the lips, most of all it works fantastically as a luminizer or highlighter, seemingly adding moon beams to illuminate the face. It is superior to any other brand I have tried. I use it swiped across the cheekbones, below the eyes, in the cupid's bow and just below eye brows, as well as on special occasions, above my decolleté. Unfortunately, I often have dark circles below my eyes. This product miraculously magics them away. Moon swoon imparts a subtle, natural-looking but highly effective gorgeous, radiant sheen that works to efface any unwanted shadows, making one's skin glow like the moon. Furthermore the delicious fragrance of jasmine ensures that wherever I go, the scent of fresh flowers follows. May this product never be discontinued. My skin has never looked more radiant. I also love the moccasin flower lip shimmer which I use as a bronzer, eyeshadow and lip colour. I truly hope Nadine continues to develop her range of shimmers, adding many more colours as these products are sui generis. They render adorning one's face with colour a pure visual and olfactory delight.

Moon swoon is a creamy golden-peach highlighter that is scented with jasmine. I mix it with foundation if I'm going out. during the day I use it on my cheekbones and I mix it with some of nadines rosier toned lip products to get a glowy natural rosebud tone to the lips. It's a handy little item.
My favourite lip balm and luminizer in one!
This is my new favourite product! It smells and looks wonderful, and gives a subtle but noticeable glow. It can be used on the high points of the face to give a dewy glow, and looks natural and healthy. It also seems like it will last for a long time. I'm so glad I found this as I've tried a lot of lip balms and luminizers over the years, and I've finally found one that works beautifully as both, has great ingredients, and will last ages! Step Two: Scrape the Tongue• Holding ends of tongue scraper, gently scrape the tongue from back to front 2-3 times. Rinse the scraper off each time.

If you are new to the world of natural oral care and dental products, you will not fail to be impressed by the range that @livinglibations offers. This paste makes my teeth feel very clean and the flavor is wonderful. This *tiny* jar lasted me several months. I have already repurchased and will not be without this wonderful product.
It works!
This is one of those products I bought without expecting it to work. I always use sulphate-free toothpastes, but I’ve never used anything as natural as this, simply because I didn’t think it would be a substitute for regular toothpaste. But it works! I use a rice grain-sized pinch of this toothpaste on my Philips Sonicare, and the results are spectacular. People have commented on Amazon that their teeth felt ‘silky’ after using this toothpaste, and I now understand what they meant by it. It seems to polish my teeth and leave it very white, as it gets rid of that unpleasant coating on your teeth. To me, the flavour of this toothpaste is clove-heavy, so if you don’t like the taste of cloves, you may want to try one of their other toothpastes instead.
Minty fresh
I’ve always had disastrous results using any tooth product or DIY toothpaste recipe that contains clay. The worst experience I had was a few years ago I made a well known blogger’s homemade toothpaste recipe made with clay that left my gums and mouth sore and swollen for over 2 weeks. The only way I could remedy the situation was brushing my teeth with coconut oil and gargling with salt water a few times a day. It was an awful experience and since then I won’t let any clay come near my mouth, or any coarse or abrasive material or ingredient. So as you can imagine, I was nervous trying Living Libations Happy Gums Clay Toothpaste. Real nervous. Luckily, the clay didn’t irritate my gums or teeth, and the toothpaste has proven to be the best I have ever used. It’s not only safe, natural, and an effective toothpaste, but best of all it doesn’t leave my mouth dry, and… it makes my mouth minty fresh! Yes, minty fresh. To get the most out of this product, it’s really important to follow Nadine Artemis’ tooth care protocol. I use very little of the tooth paste (the size of a tiny crumb!) on a dry tooth brush, and I LIGHTLY brush my teeth for a few minutes (I aim to brush my teeth for 3-5 minutes, as lightly as possible). Nadine Artemis emphasizes brushing lightly for longer, as opposed to brushing roughly or strongly for shorter periods of time (which is what most people do). Following her protocol of how to brush my teeth more thoroughly and more gently, I do get a much deeper and efficient cleaning. I’ve tried using her technique of light brushing for longer periods of time with tooth soap and regular toothpaste, but it doesn’t work because you can’t have the soap or regular toothpaste in your mouth too long or it starts to burn, and leaves your mouth REALLY dry. But on the other hand, using Living Libations Happy Gums Clay Toothpaste doesn’t burn if you’re brushing your teeth for longer time, and as long as you don’t brush your teeth too roughly, it won’t irritate your teeth and gums either. I have to say, I’ve been so pleased with this toothpaste, and my new brushing style as well. I’ve notice a significant decrease in tartar build up along my gum line (I’m prone to that), my teeth and mouth are much cleaner, and my gums feel much stronger (post pregnancy I’ve had very sensitive gums). I just love how clean and fresh this product makes my mouth feel. This is the only product I have ever found that doesn’t make my mouth feel dry after cleaning, which is a huge plus.
Healing my gums!
I am completely obsessed with all of the dental steps and products! I have had gum issues since i was in my 20's as a broke single mom the last thing i could do was take care of myself so i have struggled with gum disease for 30 years. Now with your products (I am a grandma in my 50's) I am healing my gums and found a cure for my gum disease! I love taking care of my teeth health with products that actually work! This product works incredibly well. Although it does not taste like regular toothpaste, or foam like regular toothpaste it delivers far superior results. I love this toothpaste; I've been looking for a good clay toothpaste for awhile now I use this along with the yogi tooth serum and I have noticed my teeth feel a lot cleaner and the clean feeling last all day! I have seen an improvement in my breath (which I also struggled with) as well as with the color of my teeth there getting whiter the stains are slowly lifting. and there is no real taste (except the yogi tooth serum, it taste horrible but works wonders) absolutely in love! also it seems like a small container, but you only need a pea size amount and that's plenty.

After 6 weeks of using Healthy Gums Clay Toothpaste i can now say i will never use toothpaste from anywhere other than LL. Although the container may look on the small side, you only need a tiny amount of this on a dry toothbrush (i use a really soft bristled one and let the paste do the work!). Over the course of this time I've noticed that my teeth don't look as yellow, are much smoother and it's become much easier to remove plaque. Amazing product!

I've just started using this Ozone clay tooth paste and its amazing, the smell and taste are the best things I've ever tried, it has already calmed my gums down a lot, I've been using neem oil on my teeth/gums for almost a year (not Nadines brand but another brand) but for me that didn't seem to do anything, but I've found the clay has been really great and I have noticed a difference in just over a week of using it.

Ok I love colostrum and the immune tree are brilliant for me ! I spend an awful lot on supplements but I always have my immune tree colostrum and it definitely improves my immune system , I suffer from Addison's ( major and total adrenal insufficiency) I don't produce any of my own cortisol and it's exhausting even with replacing with hydrocortisone as it's a fixed dose three times daily and not my body regulating the dose. However since I began to take colostrum every day I have indeed noticed some increase in stamina and definitely improved immunity. I'd highly recommend this colostrum to any one and everyone wanting that extra boost for the immune system.
