Description

Vitalzym Cardio (formerly VitalzymSEB) was introduced in 2005, after much success of the original Vitalzym, which has become one of the leading systemic enzyme formulations available. Vitalzym Cardio is formulated with your cardiovascular wellbeing in mind. The SEBkinase blend contains "heart healthy" enzymes that may cleanse the blood of excess fibrin and reduce vascular inflammation.*

Countless sufferers of chronic conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, systemic inflammation, fibroids, and many more have found relief with the regular use of Vitalzym. A common benefit of Vitalzym has been its ability its ability to cleanse the blood. World Nutrition and Specialty Enzymes have taken the cardiovascular support of Vitalzym and harnessed it with nattokinase and other "heart healthy" nutrients to create an enzyme formulation specifically to support cardiovascular wellness. Vitalzym Cardio also contains powerful antioxidants, such as CoQ10, which has been shown to have significant impact on heart function.*

Reduce Fibrin in the Blood
The fibrinolytic enzymes in Vitalzym Cardio have been shown to have the ability to digest excess fibrin (protein buildup) in the blood, which allows for improved blood viscosity. Stacked red blood cells (or Rouleau effect) often reflect poor protein digestion. Symptoms can include fatigue, stress on the heart, and poor circulation. The ingredients in Vitalzym Cardio have been shown, using darkfield microscopy, to significantly reduce the stacking of red blood cells.*

C-Reactive Proteins
Increased vascular inflammation has been recently shown to be a factor in many debilitating issues. C-Reactive Protein levels are used as a marker for vascular inflammation. Then enzymes in Vitalzym Cardio have been shown to reduce the levels of C-Reactive Proteins.*

Vitalzym Cardio Ingredients

Nattokinase
Nattokinase is a fibrinolytic enzyme extracted and purified from natto, a fermented soybean food used by the Japanese for thousands of years as a traditional food medicine.

Nattokinase was first identified in 1980 by Dr. Hiroyuki Sumi, M.D., Ph.D., who was researching thrombolytic enzymes with the hope of finding a natural agent that could successfully dissolve thrombus associated with cardiac and cerebral infarction (blood clots associated with heart attacks and stroke). After testing more than 200 natural foods as potential thrombolytic agents, Sumi found that natto possessed a substance with a "a potency matched by no other enzyme." Dr. Sumi named the newly discovered enzyme nattikinase.*

By dissolving fibrin more completely than any other substance tested by Dr. Sumi, nattokinase may be particularly effective in helping the body fight blood clots. Its thrombolytic activity is enhanced by the enzyme's ability to boost the body's production of both plasmin and other clot-dissolving agents, including endogenous urokinase.*

Serrapeptase
Serrapeptase is a proteolytic enzyme that is able to digest dead tissue, blood clots, and cysts. Clinical studies show that serrapeptase induced fibrinolytic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-edemic activity in a number of tissues, and that its anti-inflammatory effects are superior to to other proteolytic enzymes.*

Serrapeptase has been used in Europe to treat arterial blockages due to its ability to alleviate arterial inflammation and dissolve blood lots. It has been used to treat arthritis, fibrocystic breast disease, carpal tunnel syndrome, and other fibrinolytic, viral, and inflammatory conditions.*

Detoxification
Systemic enzymes will help rid the liver of toxins. Some users will experience a detox reaction to the enzymes, including short-term fatigue, nausea, or headache. Liver detoxification reactions are a beneficial cleansing for the body. Increased water intake can assist in the process; reducing the enzyme dosage will slow the rate of detox. Enzymes also help cleanse metabolic debris and help mainain vital blood quality.*
