Who produces the honey?  The bees of Antonio Simon, a 4th generation beekeeper who takes pride in producing honey in a traditional way without adding or taking away anything. Luisa - Forest Honey - 960g (Raw, Organic) (Coarse-filtered, Unpasteurised, and Enzyme-rich)
Raw Honey Shop Luisa - Forest Honey - 960g (Raw, Organic) (Coarse-filtered, Unpasteurised, and Enzyme-rich)
Description Raw, natural and one of the purest honeys because of the remote area it comes from. Tested 15+ active rating Antibacterial, coarse-filtered, unpasteurised, and enzyme-rich. This raw Forest comes from the Cantabrian Mountains and hills in Asturias, a green and unspoilt area in the north of Spain. This is a very high quality Forest honey, that is very thick. Luisa's Raw Forest Honey starts with an aroma of sticky toffee pudding. On first taste, it has deep, full bodied, slightly smoky, earthy tones, delivering a more savoury taste than some other honeys. The rich main flavour is very full-bodied and deep-tasting, similar to a pomegranate molasses. There are strong mineral notes with a slightly dry and mostly clean after-taste. The body is good and thick, sitting on the tongue momentarily before melting away. What about the tree the honey comes from? The collective forest trees are known as bosque in Spanish. These can include chestnut and Mediterranean oak as well as beech and pine. These large trees exude a sweet sap which the bees feed on, sometimes with the help of aphids who drill into the tree bark allowing the sap to flow out more freely. Some also produce strongly-scented blossoms, which the bees love. Common Uses: Forest honey is particularly good to use in recipes such as rich cakes, cookies, desert toppings, ice creams, warm honey teas and meat glazes. This is because of the rich, dark, molasses-like flavour it can lend. Forest Honey Facts: Forest honey is higher in natural fructose than other types of honey, and so this serves as good source of energy. Hence, a spoon of forest honey helps to relieve fatigue immediately, and the lower glucose keeps it from setting longer than many other types of honey.   Please know that raw honey does crystalise and this is a natural process that occurs mainly due to the natural glucose in raw honey.

It is now part of my morning. Marzia My first experience of truly delicious honey occurred when I was 18 and taking a gap year before starting university. During this time, I spent 6 weeks on Crete and had raw honey and yoghurt every day. It was extraordinary - fragrant and complex, unlike any honey I'd had before. I have tried many honeys' since and your Rosemary honey comes closest. It tastes of dry, hot sunshine and Rosemary tinged sweetness. Kelly The rosemary honey is my favourite firstly because of the wonderful flavour. It evokes happy memories of living in Spain; warmth, sun and the enormous rosemary bush that lived outside our kitchen window.  We would watch the bees merrily pollenating and wonder what it would taste like. With honey as its primary ingredient, this syrup would already be antibacterial, but it is made much stronger thanks to the inclusion of propolis, elderberry juice, plant extracts, and essential oils. The flavour is potent but smooth, unlike many harsher-tasting syrups. You can certainly taste and smell the propolis and essential oils The texture is thinner than some other syrups, so we find it best to swallow it slowly to ensure it fully coats the throat. We've used it here in the office when we've struggled with sore throats, colds, catarrh, and congestion. Plus, we love that it's all-natural and uses lots of organic ingredients! Size: 250ml About Propolis: Propolis (bee glue) is a resinous mixture that honey bees produce by mixing their own enzymes and beeswax with sap and resin gathered from tree buds, sap flows, or other sources.  Propolis is believed to be antibacterial, prevent diseases and parasites from entering the hive and to inhibit fungal growth. The composition of propolis varies from hive to hive and season to season. Normally, it is dark brown in colour. "Typical" northern temperate propolis has approximately 150 constituents, primarily resins and vegetable balsams (50%), waxes (30%), essential oils (10%), and pollen (5%).  Propolis also contains persistent lipophilic acaricides, a natural pesticide that deters mite infestations.  Other flavonoids commonly present include galangin and pinocembrin. This particular propolis is sourced from our beekeeper, David. Propolis is being researched for the potential development of new drugs focusing on a variety of its properties, including those for possible immunomodulatory, anti-diabetic and anti-ulcer applications. Use: Shake well before every use. Adults: 1 tablespoon (10ml) up to three times per day; Children (over 6): 1 teaspoon (5ml) up to three times per day. Swallow slowly. Storage: Before use, keep in a cool, dry place, not in direct sunlight. Once open, use within three months. Ingredients: honey*, agave syrup*, water, elderberry juice*, propolis tincture* (2%), sage and greater plantain extract*, lemon juice concentrate*, thyme extract*, rosemary essential oil*, xantham gum *certified organic by CCPAE (Consell Catala de La Produccio Agraria Ecologica) 100% natural ingredients Please note: The label on this product is in Spanish. Due to UK trading standards restrictions, we cannot make any specific health claims, but there are many websites where you can find more about propolis. Because propolis tincture is used in this product, there is a very small amount of alcohol. Please be aware of this in case you are avoiding the consumption of alcohol.

Antonio - Lavender Honey 970g (Raw, Organic, Runny)
Raw Honey Shop Antonio - Lavender Honey 970g (Raw, Organic, Runny)
Description What Does Raw Lavender Honey Taste Like? This is a very light and pleasant herb flower honey, it has a warm and soothing taste of creamy florals. It comes from bees feeding on the lavender bushes in the Mediterranean area, different from the tree sap honey which is often dark in appearance and strong in taste, this honey tends to be mild, lighter and softer in taste. Honey Facts Lavender honey is a favourite of many due to its beautiful warm flavour, it is said to assist in a good nights sleep if taken before bedtime. Plant / Tree The lavender plant is a herbaceous perennial shrub also known as espliego in Spanish. It tends to be short lived and has a wide amount of varieties in its genus. It is widely used as an essential oil in aromatherapy and is known to help relax and assist in better sleep and stress management. Common Uses Lavender honey is particularly good to use as a skin care treatment to heal burns, cuts, abrasions and infections. It is also very versatile and can be used in recipes such as glazes for meats, salad dressings, cakes, flapjacks, breads, pastas and teas. Who produces the honey?  The bees of Antonio Simone, a 4thgeneration beekeeper who takes pride in producing honey in a traditional way without adding or taking away anything. Antonio's hives are mainly based in the mountain ranges of north of Madrid. His beekeeping practices and the land he has his hives on have been certified as organic by the Committee of Organic Agriculture in Madrid Why Raw Honey is different to Processed Honey - Raw honey generally means the honey has not been processed, it has come from the hive to the jar with minimal interference. Most supermarket honey is highly processed to make it look more attractive. It will often have had almost all its pollen filtered out, been pasteurised at high heats and then blended with honeys from many different places. Raw honey tends to vary from batch to batch, this is because it is not processed in a factory, filtered or heated to look homogeneous, it changes with the season and climate and what the bees feed on, we will update this fact sheet according to which batch we currently have in.  Please know that raw honey does crystalise and this is a natural process that occurs mainly due to the natural glucose in raw honey.
Thomas - Artisan Raw Greek Orange Blossom Honey 490g (Raw, Organic, Runny)
Raw Honey Shop Thomas - Artisan Raw Greek Orange Blossom Honey 490g (Raw, Organic, Runny)
Description This is one of the best Orange Blossom honeys we have ever tasted, if not the best Coarse-filtered, unpasteurised, and enzyme-rich. Raw,  natural and pure, because of the remote area it comes from. This raw Orange Blossom comes from the Laconian country, in the Peloponnese, a green and unspoilt area in the south of Greece, where the best oranges come from This honey has an intense orange blossom with the vivid aroma of blossoms - slightly marmalady. Thomas' Raw Orange Blossom honey is more intense than most Orange Blossom honeys. It has the slightly bitter sweetness of the orange jam that surrounds the peel in marmalade. One of the best Orange Blossom honeys we have tasted.  Orange Blossom is normally a favourite of children and those who enjoy sweet and sunny honey flavours. It has a citric aroma and a hint of creamy vanilla. A great introduction to the world of raw honey. Colour - This particular honey is light orange in colour, slightly yellow in the light. Origin - This Greek Orange Blossom is harvested in the orangeries of the Laconian country, in the Peloponnese (where the ancient Spartans used to live). It is produced by Thomas and his beekeeping family, they take great pride in producing honey in a traditional way, without adding or taking away anything. Thomas and his family are working towards getting organic certification and everything is produced to organic standards. What about the plant this honey comes from? The orange tree is the beautiful fruit producing citrus tree which boasts dazzling white blossoms when flowering. Common Uses - Orange blossom honey is particularly good to use in different recipes, such as: salad dressings, yogurts, glazes for meats and to add a unique zing to a dish. Orange Blossom Honey Facts - The Mediterranean area is famed for its wide variety of orange blossom honey, ranging from very clear light honey from small oranges to potent flavourful orange blossom honey with a prominent taste of orange - such as this one from Thomas.  Please know that raw honey does crystallised and this is a natural process that occurs mainly due to the natural glucose in raw honey.
Antonio - Heather Honey 970g (Raw, Organic, Runny)
Raw Honey Shop Antonio - Heather Honey 970g (Raw, Organic, Runny)
Description Prize Winner in the Great Taste Awards 2017 According to the judges: "Heavily aromatic. Treacly, almost fudgy in texture. There's an almost molasses richness and tinge of bitterness. Some deep meadowy flavours - more herbaceous than fruity, we feel. It has length and persistence." and "Deep brown, glossy, thick honey. The honey has a caramel aroma, and the dried fruit flavour comes through well and is rich and balanced. We would see this working well for a number of purposes - fruit, yoghurt or on toast." This is an amazingly deep tasting shrub honey; it has a depth of flavour with a pronounced bitterness similar to dark chocolate or black tea. It comes from the bees feeding on the low lying heather shrubs often on mountainous terrain. Heather is a favourite plant of bees. Despite not being a tree, heather honey has properties of a tree honey, namely its potent taste and dark colour. If you have not had heather honey previously, we would recommend trying a 50g jar before purchasing a full-size jar as the flavour can be quite intense. Why Raw Honey is different to Processed Honey - Raw honey generally means the honey has not been processed, it has come from the hive to the jar with minimal interference. Most supermarket honey is highly processed to make it look more attractive, it has been drained of pollen, often heated and blended. Raw honey tends to vary from batch to batch, this is because it is not processed in a factory, filtered or heated to look homogeneous, it changes with the season and climate and what the bees feed on, we will update this fact sheet according to which batch we currently have in. Colour - This particular honey is brown in colour, slightly red in the light. Runny State - Heather honey tends not to stay runny for long due to a high glucose content. Set State - Heather honey develops small to medium crystals fairly quickly after harvesting, it is quite rare to get it completely runny. Honey Facts - This particular type of heather honey comes from the plants erica vagans and erica cinerea. Heather has 2 main genus, calluna also known as ling and erica or ericaceae, both are noted for being some of the best honey varieties you can obtain. Origin - This variety of heather honey comes from the northern mountain ranges of Madrid in Spain known as Sierra De Guadarrama. Plant / Tree The heather shrub also known as brezo in Spanish is a small mountain hugging evergreen which produces many flowers and loves acidic soils.Common Uses Heather honey is particularly good to use in different recipes, such as: Greek yoghurt, ice creams, glazes for meats and to add a unique zing and depth to a dish.Beekeeper - This heather honey comes from Antonio, a 4th generation beekeeper who takes pride in producing honey in a traditional way, without adding or taking away anything. Antonios hives are based in the mountain ranges of north of Madrid, the land he has his hives on has been certified as organic by the Committee of Organic Agriculture in Madrid. Please know that raw honey does crystalise and this is a natural process that occurs mainly due to the natural glucose in raw honey.
Antonio - Chestnut Honey 970g (Raw, Organic)
Raw Honey Shop Antonio - Chestnut Honey 970g (Raw, Organic)
Description Antonio's Raw Organic Chestnut Honey is a deep and malty-tasting tree honey. It has a beautiful, rich and nutty flavour, which many people adore. This honey comes from bees feeding on sweet chestnut trees. It is quite different from the blossom varieties which are light and subtle - this is dark and more potent.  More on the flavour: Antonio's raw organic chestnut honey is a beautiful, deep-flavoured variety. It has slight caramel notes as well as a deep sweetness and a touch of bitterness too. The nutty flavour of the chestnut carries through as well as a taste a little similar to maple syrup but slightly more rich and malty. Chestnut can lend a bitter taste to honey but not always, it is known to be one of the most varied types of honey in taste, differing greatly from one area to another and from one season to the next. Colour of this batch : Mid to dark brown, a slight red in the light.   Where does the honey come from?  This variety of chestnut honey comes from the mountains around Burgos in northern-central Spain. Who produces the honey?  The bees of Antonio Simone, a 4th generation beekeeper who takes pride in producing honey in a traditional way without adding or taking away anything. Antonio's hives are mainly based in the mountains north of Madrid. His beekeeping practices and the land he has his hives on have been certified as organic by the Committee of Organic Agriculture in Madrid What about the plant the honey comes from? The sweet chestnut tree, also known as Castano in Spanish, is a large deciduous tree which produces edible nuts. The bees feed on the tree's sap and blossoms. Common Uses: Chestnut honey is particularly good to use in different recipes, such as: cakes, cookies, desert toppings, ice creams, warm honey teas, salads and meat glazes.  Also, it is delicious poured over cheeses. This is because of the rich, nutty and malty flavour it lends. More Chestnut Honey Facts: Chestnut honey is often higher in fructose than other types, this serves as good source of energy. Hence, a spoon of chestnut honey helps to relieve fatigue immediately. Please note that this current batch of Chestnut does appear to be crystalising very quickly.  If you have found that your honey has started to crystalise and you would prefer it liquid you can do this:- Put it on a radiator and drape a tea towel over the jars. Then leave it overnight. If it's not liquid by morning then leave it a little longer. You might think that the heat from this process will damage the honey - the important thing is that you don't heat the honey beyond 40 degrees (which is how hot the hive can get in the summer when the bees are at work evaporating moisture to thicken the honey). If the radiators are very hot then put something like a book under the jars and then drape a tea towel over the jars. The book will protect the honey from direct heat above 40 degrees from the radiator and the tea towel will ensure that hot air can circulate around the honey helping to liquefy it.

Wholefood Colostrum Capsules 90 count - 500 mg capsules (Immune Tree)

Ok I love colostrum and the immune tree are brilliant for me ! I spend an awful lot on supplements but I always have my immune tree colostrum and it definitely improves my immune system , I suffer from Addison's ( major and total adrenal insufficiency) I don't produce any of my own cortisol and it's exhausting even with replacing with hydrocortisone as it's a fixed dose three times daily and not my body regulating the dose. However since I began to take colostrum every day I have indeed noticed some increase in stamina and definitely improved immunity. I'd highly recommend this colostrum to any one and everyone wanting that extra boost for the immune system.
