Review(s) Great daily sunscreen For me, I like to wear a sunscreen daily on my face, neck and chest. But finding one with the right texture has been tough. This sunscreen is exactly what I have been looking for! Now, I do notice that my face looks slightly paler after I apply it, but it is not at all what I would describe as "chalky". Another positive is that I have found I can wear this on its own without applying any other moisturizer under it. Also, this is NOT greasy and has not caused any increase in clogged pores. Absorbs quickly. I have applied make up over top with no problems at all. The texture and smell are all really pleasant as well. Has kind of a creamy, slightly sweet smell. again perfection This is the perfect product for summer! I tested this last weekend and I got the perfect amount of healthy sun exposure, didn't burn, and it stayed put despite sweating and swimming! Plus I love that it has nourishing ingredients. I have always regretted that I went to lengths to put natural products on my body and then put a chemical sunscreen or synthetic sunblock ontop. Most were ineffective, waxy, and questionably safe. I tried several "natural" brands but many were like wearing a layer of grease. And last summer and ended up with a white blotch on my face from a sunblock that ran...no more experimenting! I finally I found a product that is perfect for summer. I recommend this to anyone who wants reliable, safe and healthy sun protection plus the benefits of skin healing, nourishing ingredients. LOVE! i am having an absolute love affair with this product...no chalkiness, no heaviness...just absolute blissful perfection for those times when i'm out & about a bit longer than usual. First Impression is Great It smells really good. It certainly feels and looks really good, too. Now the true test... sometime in the near future I will wear this OUTSIDE. OK I must add I am a pale/ no pigment coppery/red blonde Western European girl who lives on a tropical, Caribbean island. So I am still going to wear a sunhat and wear additional mineral powder and protective clothing, but I guess this could be an interesting test! No idea how much SPF this sunscreen has and quite frankly, I don't believe anything above 25 works anyway. The bottle is small. I wonder how long this will last me in the tropics. But this may very well be the best sunscreen ever. it's the best smelling thing and it is really smooth. I mean compared to the other cottage cheese and chalky natural brands. Will report back later. WISH ME LUCK! Shall my face remain freckle-free? Test 1: SUCCESSFUL! I am reporting back after my first test. I am in the tropics and I am a pale, coppery/blonde Western European female. No pigment in my skin. I have been asked if I am an albino (which I am not). Recently, I have decided not to use artificial spray-tans anymore and to just try and get some more color from the sun. Who needs the parabens and chemicals? After watching a video with Nadine talking beautifully about how the sun communicates with our skin, I felt ready and inspired to give it a go. My skin is not used to the sun. Sooo I went to the beach with a friend yesterday morning!! So far, this sunscreen is proving to really work! This is the first time I actually sunbathed on this tropical island and I only used the sunscreen on certain parts of my body. I did not think I would immediately burn the untreated parts (or got distracted and mesmerized by the beauty of the Caribbean ocean and decided not to worry about it), but I still wanted to protection on my knees and feet. The reason I did not apply the sunscreen on my whole body is cause the bottle is a little small and I need the sunscreen for an all-day outdoor event this weekend! So I did not want to use it all and therefore did not protect all of my body this time! I did not use sunscreen on my legs and I did not think I was in the sun for very long. Sure enough, in the evening, the parts that I had forgotton to apply sunscreen to are BRIGHT RED and stinging from a sunburn and the spots where I applied the sunscreen are still normal! Yes, I have bright red, fried lobster colored legs with white knees and feet! LOL! My friend is laughing so hard cause she used commercial sunscreen and forgot her feet, so her feet got a sunburn. So her feet match my legs and mine match hers! We both look silly! She has red feet and I have red legs with white feet. All the places where I put the 'Everybody loves the Sunshine' sunscreen are still normal!! Amazing! I wore a sunhat and also used a special sun parasol for my upper body. So my upper body is hardly affected by the sun. Luckily, Aloe Vera grows here naturally, so I am treating my sun burnt areas with that. Ouchee! It hurts like hell! I am applying fresh Aloe gel and juice from leaves 3 times a day and my skin just soaks it up! So... I know my lobster areas will be ok. As far as the SPF. You can apply it thicker or thinner, so it's up to you. It smells great, feels smooth and applies easily and evenly. The best ever. If this pale girl is protected on a tropical island on a day with clear sky (we only had a palm tree giving us some shade)... basically this sunscreen will work for everybody. Albino's included. Just make sure you apply it well and don't overdo the sun exposure! Don't forget any spots! Since this is a physical, zinc-based block, you will look a little pale from it (with a generous application). But that can be easily fixed by adding a layer of mineral pigment make-up. So for my face, I just use this sunscreen as a moisturizer and primer to wear underneath my mineral make-up. Works beautifully! I can't afford not to wear sunscreen, so I HAVE to wear some pigmented natural powder over it, if I don't want to look like a ghost. For my body, I don't mind that so much and I apply it less thickly. I have tried several natural, zinc-based sunscreens and this one is BY FAR the best ever!! I am so pleased! It smells GREAT! I'm gonna want a gallon! best sunscreen ever I bought it at the Big carrot and i found it to be the best sunscreen ever. i'm Asian and have light skin that burn easily. I went away on Canada Day long weekend to montreal where the sun was scorching hot. I applied it to my face, neck and shoulders and i didn't get burnt or turn red. So the next day , I decided to conduct a test by applying it only on my face/neck and leave my shoulders exposed with the drugstore sunscreen. Well what a surprised- the skin that didn't have the living Libation suncreen on it got red and burnt while my face+ neck was not affected. Wow, this stuff is the greatest. Magic Dear Nadine and Ron, I have never, never, never written to a company regarding their product before. I bought your Everybody Loves Sunshine on a whim after trying to find sunscreen without all of the harmful additives. Your little bottle comes and the first test run was 3 days in Joshua Tree with 100 degree heat and unrelenting sunshine. I was very sceptical to say the least. I told my husband, I will be the quinea pig, you use sunscreen in case it doesn't work. I applied it religiously, and only burned if I missed a spot. Next test, southern California day at the beach, same thing, I only burned if I missed an area. I will be ordering more and telling all of my friends and family. Everybody loves the Sunshine with zinc Beachbalm! This is by far the best “sunscreen” I have ever used. we usually use the liquid form which has liquid essential oil‘s. But I bought this one to put on my kids and it works fabulous. I have not used commercial sunscreen and many, many years. It is filled with cancerous chemicals and toxic parabens. It also blocks our bodies absorption of vitamin D. So why would I even consider putting that on my children’s skin. I purchased the 5 mL size because of the price just in case it didn't work for me I wouldn't feel bad about the money I spent. I got the 5 mL size again because although it is the size of a chap stick a little goes a long way, and it lasted for 2 1/2 months. You can't beat that! My skin is pretty normal. I have some *** scars, and I usually break out a bit during my moon-time cycle. I use this product at night before I go to bed about 4x/week. I apply it the same way you would apply a highlighter on your face and then blend it all in with my finger. It looks the same way your face would look if you applied a sun care product on your face but after about an hr my skin absorbs the product. When I wake up my skin looks flawless. It diminishes the appearance of the spot *** in size, redness, and I am noticing that the appearance of my scars are also diminishing! You have to give this product a try! "
