All Organic Ingredients:

Jojoba – Holy Jojoba! Our pure, organic jojoba oil contains all soluble forms of Vitamin E, Mother Nature’s most effective emollient. Jojoba sinks deeply into the skin, providing endless moisture while protecting tissues from all sorts of imbalances and common skin maladies. Jojoba is traditionally used to treat acne, dry skin, sunburns, psoriasis, and dry scalp. 

Sandalwood Nut Oil – Also known as sandalwood seed oil, this key ingredient contains rare, beneficial fatty acids to help fight damaging inflammation and free radicals. Sandalwood nut oil is packed with Oleic and Ximenynic acids, the latter of which is incredibly rare and powerfully anti-inflammatory. The pure, organic oil contained in sandalwood nuts has been used for thousands of years to treat cellulite, varicose veins, dry skin, overly oily skin, wounds, cuts, bruises, lesions, and to protect the skin from harsh environmental elements and pollutants. 

Sandalwood – Our ethically–harvested Sandalwood essential oil is steam-distilled from the heartwood. Where Sandalwood Nut Oil is fiercely anti-inflammatory, pure Sandalwood Oil offers marvelous antimicrobial, antibacterial, and antiviral benefits. Frankincense is packed with beneficial hydrocarbons, fatty acids, and monoterpenes, all of which work together to create a nourishing tonic for the skin. 

Cape Chamomile - Cape Chamomile is comprised of radiant, wild azure-blue drops, which calm the mind and soothe inflamed adrenal glands. Cape Chamomile, with its nourishing Azulene compounds, heals all manner of skin imbalances while exuding an uplifting fine-fruit fragrance.

Palmarosa – Palmarosa oil is happily hydrating, rejuvenating, and stabilizing. It is said to regenerate skin cells and create a state of optimum balance for both dry and oily skin. Its fresh lemon-rose scent has been touted as an effective antianxiety agent. 

Thyme linalool – The linalool variety is wonderfully gentle for the skin while still remaining effectively potent. It is so powerful, in fact, that is has been successfully used in the treatment of chronic skin conditions. 

Yarrow – Herby and aromatic, yarrow oil was used by the Ancient Greeks to protect the skin and body from outside invaders. It is a wonderful anti-inflammatory agent that is frequently used to treat cuts, wounds, infections, scrapes, bruises, and bites. 

Roman chamomile – Soothing, calming Roman chamomile is a beautiful choice for soothing fine lines, wrinkles, and calm anxious minds. 

Lemon – Uplifting lemon is cleansing and invigorating. It is used to clarify the skin, enhance circulation and blood flow, and support the skin’s ability to replenish itself. The citrusy scent of lemon oil is said to lift the spirits, increase motivation, and make it easier to concentrate on demanding mental tasks. 

Blood orange – This juicy treat is fresh-smelling and sweet, and is said to increase the firmness and elasticity of the skin. Blood orange may also work to repair tissues and stimulate circulation.

 

Directions for using Sandalwood Best Skin Ever™ to Wash the Face:

 

1. Wet a small portion of a face cloth with water. 

2. Apply one to two squirts of Best Skin Ever™ to the dampened portion of the face cloth

3. Gently massage the face, neck and back of the neck with the moistened cloth. Wash gently or vigorously, depending on if you would like an exfoliating effect.

4. Rinse cloth. Rinsing face is optional.

5. Optional: Apply one of our Dew Dabs to any blemishes, acne, or uneven areas.

6. Moisturize with any of these options:

A. Add another squirt or two of Sandalwood Best Skin Ever™ to your fingertips and massage into the face to moisturize.

B. Or, apply one to two squirts of Supreme Sandalwood Serum or:

C. Or, add a squirt or two of Sandalwood Serum to a dab of Rose Glow Creme on your fingertips and massage your face and neck... It's wonderful to add a drop or two of any of the Serums to a dab of any of the Creams. They all blend beautifully together. For example: Supreme Sandalwood Serum with All Seeing Eye Cream.

 

Directions for using Sandalwood Best Skin Ever™ on the body after a Bath or Shower:

 

1. Just after a bath or shower, leave the body wet.

2. Wet a washcloth with water. Or, simply massage into skin with your hand.

3. Apply a few squirts onto the wet washcloth of any of the Best Skin Evers - Seabuckthorn, Sandalwood, Chocolate, Rose, Vanilla, Frankincense, Neroli or Lavish Abundance.

4. Massage the entire body - head to toe - with the cloth. Use a more vigorous approach for more exfoliation or for problem areas.

Worth the upgrade from BSE Seabuckthorn for my dry, reactive skin

Rich and velvety smooth, Best Skin Ever Sandalwood is gradually imparting more and more of its nature to my face! I had my eye on this version of BSE for a while because I have sensitive skin and because I had really enjoyed the smell of sandalwood in both of the Poetic Pits I love (GingerLilly & Vetiver). Took me a little while to take the plunge because it costs twice as much per mL [at the 50 mL price point for both] than Seabuckthorn, but I find it to be completely worth it, each drop is easily more than twice as powerful! First of all the smell... I enjoyed sandalwood as a team player in my Poetic Pits but it shines taking center stage and remains lush and layered on its own. And then it just cooperates with my skin so well. I've also never experienced my skin really 'drink' in an oil the way it does this. Plus! it now comes in the handy push-button-dropper packaging which improves dispensing small amounts (i.e., less than one full pump of the other bottle type) so you can really take advantage of how powerful it is and use only as much as you need. P.S.: HUGE FAN OF LL OVERALL! I really should have taken the time to write a review before now to appreciate the team and the knowledge and the products and all the integrity involved in this beautiful [I was trying to come up with a word that describes what living libations is because business didn't seem right and I like 'enterprise', a la dictionary.com "a project undertaken or to be undertaken, especially one that is important or difficult or that requires boldness or energy"]

The ONLY product I need!

Oh!!!! The Sandalwood Best Skin Ever is the ONLY face product I need in terms of cleansing & moisturizing! I love it because it has transformed my skin, evening out the tone of my skin, soothing red patches on my sensitive facial skin, melting away clogs in pores...I haven't gotten a blemish since I started using it! The smell is intoxicating, it's just gorgeous and so multi-dimensional with a rich, heady woodsy floral scent that is incredible! My ski. Has never been softer or brighter than when I started using Living Libations Sandalwood Best Skin Ever. I want to thank you so much Nadine, for creating such beautiful, magical, effective skin elixirs that not only make my skin more healthy, but also make me feel more beautiful because the ritual itself is do pleasurable each day! Great for sensitive skin!

Best Skin Ever is right!

I've been using this product everyday, 2x daily, since I received it and it's been sooo great for my face. So, I'd already been using facial oils which meant I didn't expect much of a transformation of my skin...face oil is just face oil, right? Well, turns out that Living Libations Sandalwood Oil really does give me the best skin ever! My skin is less combo, with oily t-zone and dry cheeks, and more normal and dewy overall. I use 1-2 drop on top of generous sprays of rosewater, morning and night, and my skin is decongestant, even-toned, bright and soft. I love this oil!

Best Skin Ever Sandalwood Has My Tick of Approval!

Ticks are a pain in the 'A'; in my case Arm. My arm had become quite swollen and I was suffering from a chronic headache until Living Libations Best Skin Ever Sandalwood came to my rescue. It helped ease the pain and reduce the swelling of my left arm. It's one of Living Libations skincare products that I could never do without.
