Antonio's Raw Organic Orange Blossom honey is a very pleasing and light honey - a favourite of children and those who enjoy sweet and sunny honey flavours. It has just a subtle and delicate taste of orange and a hint of creamy vanilla. It's a great introduction to the world of raw honey thanks to its easy-going, floral sweetness and heady orange blossom aroma.
Colour - Please Note: This batch of Orange Blossom has now crystallised and is a very pale creamy yellow colour.
Origin - This variety of honey comes from the organic Orange Groves in the plains near Seville, where the best oranges in Spain grow. Produced by Antonio, a 4th generation beekeeper who takes pride in producing honey in a traditional way, without adding or taking away anything.
What about the plant this honey comes from? The orange tree also known as azahar in Spanish is the beautiful fruit producing citrus tree which boasts dazzling white blossoms when flowering.
Common Uses - Orange blossom honey is particularly good to use in different recipes, such as: salads, yoghurts, glazes for meats and to add a unique zing to a dish.
