Beef Brain is packed with essential fatty acids including the omega-3 fats DHA & EPA, as well as brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF). It’s also a rich source of the micronutrients choline, copper and vitamins B2 (Riboflavin), B5 (Pantothenic Acid), B9 (Folate) and B12. All of these play a key role in either brain health or neurotransmitter production, supporting; focus, memory, mood, speed of thought and slowing brain aging. Eating whole animals, nose-to-tail, was a way of life for humans for the majority of our existence up until recent history. In the past people believed that consuming the organ of a healthy animal would strengthen and enhance the health of their own corresponding organ. For example, if someone was struggling with with cognitive function such as memory or focus, they would be fed brain. Interestingly, this is just now being validated by science. Research conducted at the University of Edinburgh in animal models has shown conclusively that when eaten, organs and glands selectively travel to the corresponding organs of the consumer in high concentrations. Therefore when the brain of an animal is consumed, the unique fatty acids, growth factors and micronutrients within it, which are key for cognitive function, travel to your own brain. Having a higher concentration of these compounds in your brain gives you the raw materials to support functions such as; focus, memory, mood and speed of thought.
Indigenous people also appreciated that animals gave their lives to ensure us as humans could survive and thrive so they left nothing go to waste. Consume 3- 6 capsules per day (1500-3000mg)
