Paschallis' Spring Blossom honey is thick with a rich, lavish and herbal sweet taste. There is a slightly sour and tangy aftertaste.
Where it comes from: Spring is a wonderful time for the bees, with all the forest flowers. The bees of Paschalis (Asterios' friend) make a beautiful forest blossom from the flowers of Sidr Trees, Acacia, Trefoil and many herbs that grow in the forest clearings. The bees work in the forests of northern Greece near the border of Turkey. This wilderness is a very important place for wildlife - with many rare flowers and birdlife. Perfect for bees.
About the beekeeper: Asterios is one of the most genuine people you could ever meet. His aim is always to present to us the highest quality honey possible. He is lucky enough to have an amazing network of fellow artisan Greek beekeepers. This honey is bought to you by one such beekeeper, called Paschallis. For Asterios and Paschallis beekeeping is an art and they are excited that their honey will be appreciated in the UK.
