If so, you may want to give our Emergency Immune Support with Echinacea + Elderberry a try!Why is it important to support your immune system?Every day your body comes into contact with different bacteria, viruses, parasites and other potentially harmful substances (pathogens).Your body’s primary defense system against pathogens is your skin, mucus, earwax etc.Should pathogens make their way into your body, your secondary defense system is your immune system.Your immune system protects your body from potential threats, and so - having a healthy and strong immune system is one of, if not the most important aspects to staying fit and healthy. If you have a strong immune system, you’re less likely to suffer from illness or infection - and if you do, a stronger immune system will fight off these threats more quickly and capably, resulting in less serious cases of the illness or infection. What causes a weakened immune system? The main factors that may contribute to a weakened immune system are:
Old age [1]
Air pollution (environmental toxins) [2]
Excessive alcohol consumption [3]
Being overweight (especially obesity) [4]
Poor Diet [5]
Certain medications & recreational drugs
Mental stress & anxiety [6]
Lack of sleep (or poor quality sleep) [7]
Low levels/deficiency of Vitamin D [8]
Smoking [9]
Lack of exercise [10]
Can you test for low immune System Function?Blood tests can help to determine if you have adequate levels of immunoglobulins (infection-fighting proteins) in your blood.Blood tests can also measure the levels of white blood cells (leukocytes) in your body, or specific types of white blood cells, like Neutrophils, which are your first line of defense. If the numbers of certain cells in your blood are outside the “standard range”, this may indicate there is an immune system defect, or that the immune system is still working to recuperate after a recent infection.Blood tests can also show if your immune system is responding properly and appropriately producing the proteins that find and kill foreign invaders (antibodies), such as viruses or bacteria. The Top 9 Ways to Support and Strengthen your Immune System:To keep your immune system healthy and functioning at optimal levels, there are plenty of things you can change in your life that can help:
1. Get 7-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep, every night. If this is something you struggle with, you might want to check out our Sleep Aid Ultra supplement2. Reduce your stress and anxiety. There are many lifestyle changes you can make to combat this, such as meditation. You can also try supplementing with our Serenity Anti-Stress Support or 5 HTP products3. Increase your Vitamin D levels - 30 minutes in the direct sunlight (with the majority of your skin exposed) can provide up to 25,000 IU of Vitamin D. If you live in a country that lacks strong sunshine, or it’s the winter, then Vitamin D supplementation, as found in our All in one Multivitamin Formula, is beneficial4. Eat a healthy diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables, ideally organic. Eating lots of fresh produce will help to lower your body fat percentage, which in turn can strengthen your immune system. Fruit and vegetables are also packed with vitamins and minerals (especially zinc) that are vital to maintain a healthy body and immune system.5. Cut out smoking recreational drugs, such as Marijuana - the smoke is not good for your immune system (see next point)6. Stop smoking tobacco. Smoking compromises the balance of your immune system and increases the risk of contracting autoimmune disorders, such as COPD7. Do more exercise. Even just a 20 minute daily walk has been proven to help strengthen the immune system8. Consume less alcohol. Excessive drinking has been shown to affect the immune system. Alcohol also contains a lot of sugar (alcohol is made from sugars) so cutting down will also help with weight management.9. Support your immune system with the vital nutrients and minerals it needs to get back to peak performance:ElderberryElderberry flowers, berries and leaves contain lots of antioxidants (anthocyanins, phenolics & flavonoids) that can help balance the immune system and lower oxidative stress [11].Although Elderberry grows across North Africa, Asia and America, it is native to Europe and the most common variety is the black elderberry (Sambucus nigra) or European elder.Traditionally used in folk medicine, the leaves and flowers have been used as natural remedies to help reduce inflammation, pain and swelling. The bark was also prepared to help with bowel movements and urination. The berries (fresh or dried) are believed to help relieve toothache, lower back pain, headaches, respiratory infections and constipation.John Evelyn (a british researcher in the 17th century) said: “If the medicinal properties of its leaves, bark and berries (elderberry) were fully known, I cannot tell what our country man could ail for which he might not fetch a remedy, either for sickness or wounds.”Its use has been widespread throughout history, with elderberry-based medication records dating as far back as Ancient Egypt.Since then, substantial amounts of studies have been conducted on elderberry and its ability to help with a wide range of ailments.A study on rats showed elderberry polyphenols supported immune defense by increasing the number of white blood cells [12].Air traveling puts the immune system under enormous stress. Those who fly frequently (and especially long distance) are more susceptible to the common cold.A double-blind placebo-controlled study on air travelers showed that Elderberry supplementation reduced cold symptoms and duration [13].EchinaceaThere are 9 species of the echinacea plant, from which extracts have been used in traditional medicine to help treat the common cold, bacterial infections and blood poisoning [14].The active compounds in Echinacea help to stimulate and/or strengthen the immune system [15].North American Indians primarily used echinacea as medicine. They would gargle with it for sore gums and toothache, use poultices for snakebite, stings, bites and wounds, and would they would also drink concoctions with echinacea in to help treat measles, mumps, arthritis, colds and smallpox. In the 1870’s, Dr. H C F Meyer concocted a herbal medicine with echinacea, which he patented. He described it as the ultimate cure for snakebites and a blood purifier.Since then, in the 1900’s echinacea was accepted by North America Herbalists to help treat most of the same ailments it had been used for in traditional native medicine. There have been many studies on this plant and how it may help your immune system deal with viruses and infections, helping you to recover faster from the illness [16].Vitamin CVitamin C plays a key role in immune-modulating and is essential for an adequate immune response against pathogens, to avoid excessive damage to the host [17].Vitamin EAnimal and human studies have shown the immunoregulatory role of Vitamin E that is associated with reducing the risk for infectious diseases, such as respiratory infections, Streptococcus pneumonia and influenza to name a couple [18].Vitamin B6Vitamin B6 has been shown to help regulate immune responses that are associated with a wide range of problems, including inflammation [19].A study showed that Vitamin B6 deficiency influenced the immune system in 3 key ways [20]:
Downregulated SOCS-1 expression, and upregulated T-bet expression
Suppressed T lymphocyte differentiation
Decreased levels of IL-2 secretion and increased IL-4 secretion (high levels of IL-4 is associated with allergies)
ZincZinc plays a crucial role in the immune system, and even a mild deficiency can increase the risk of parasitic, bacterial and viral infections, while impairing immune function [21]. A study on malnourished children & infants in developing countries showed that zinc supplementation reduced the incidence, severity and duration of respiratory infections [22].L-GlutamineGlutamine is an amino acid (the most abundant of all in our bodies). Its naturally occurring form (that our body uses) is called L-Glutamine. To survive, multiply and function properly (defend our body against pathogens), immune cells largely depend on glutamine availability [23].GarlicIn animal studies, garlic extract increased glutathione, which stimulates white blood cells (neutrophils, monocytes, lymphocytes & macrophages) [24].TurmericTurmeric is a spice that is well known for its bright orange/yellow color. Within turmeric, circuminoids are found (bioactive compounds). Traditionally, circumin is known for its antiinflammatory effects, but studies in the past 2 decades have shown circumin is capable of being a potent immunomodulatory agent that can help regulate immune cells [25].Lactobacillus AcidophilusLactobacillus Acidophilus (L. acidophilus) is a gram-positive lactic acid bacterium. In other words, a bacteria that gives a positive effect. In a study on mice, L. acidophilus showed the reversal of age-related immune function decline [26].Introducing Feel Younger® Emergency Immune Support with Echinacea + ElderberryWhile there are many lifestyle changes you can make to help boost your immune system, we understand that it may be difficult or impractical to make these changes. That’s why each of the ingredients listed above can be found in our Emergency Immune Support with Echinacea + Elderberry product, which can help give your immune system the boost it needs to help it get back on track and perform at its very best.By combining these ingredients together in an easy to swallow capsule - we’ve taken the stress out of buying each of these ingredients separately, researching and experimenting how much of each you should take and then incorporating them into your diet/supplement regime. Here at Feel younger, we believe in providing strong doses at reasonable prices. What is Ceylon Cinnamon and Where Does it Come From?Cinnamon is a spice made from the inner bark of trees from the laurel family (Lauraceae - bushy evergreen trees) and is scientifically known as Cinnamomum. There are two main types of cinnamon that are widely available:
Ceylon cinnamon: Cinnamomum verum, also known as “true” cinnamon. This type is more expensive and less toxic to the liver because it’s much lower in coumarin, a natural constituent that promotes blood thinning.
Cassia cinnamon: Cinnamomum cassia. This type is more commonly available and is generally what you’ll find at a store or restaurant [1].
Because of the liver toxicity potential of the cheaper, cassia form of cinnamon, we personally would recommend only using Ceylon Cinnamon. The cinnamon in Feel Younger’s Cinnamon product is 100% Ceylon Cinnamon and 0% Cassia Cinnamon.Ceylon is native to Sri Lanka and southern parts of India. It’s tan-brown in color and contains many tight sticks with soft layers. These features provide a highly desirable quality and texture. It’s known to have a more delicate and mild sweet flavor in comparison to Cassia Cinnamon.Approximately 50–63% of its essential oil is cinnamaldehyde, which is quite low compared to cassia. This explains its milder aroma and flavor [2].Traditional UseCinnamon has been used as an ingredient throughout history [3], dating back as far as Ancient Egypt. It used to be rare and valuable and was regarded as a gift fit for kings. It was also recognised for its medicinal qualities [4], and was used to help with digestion issues [5], oral conditions, boost memory, purify blood, promote healing [6], help with colds, flu and sore throats, provide relief from menstrual cramps and discomfort.Cinnamon teas were also thought to be beneficial to oxidative stress related illnesses in humans, due to it being high in anti-oxidative qualities [7].How Does it work?Ceylon Cinnamon has many health benefits which have been studied in human and animal trials:
In human trials, cinnamon can lower fasting blood sugar levels [8]
Cinnamon reduces insulin resistance [9] which is one of the key hormones that regulate metabolism and energy use.
Ceylon cinnamon increases levels of the master antioxidant, glutathione (in rats) [10]. Cinnamaldehyde/Cinnamon activates Nrf2, the most important pathway for increasing our natural and innate antioxidant defense [11].
Both the twigs and leaves of Cinnamon are highly anti-inflammatory [12].
Two compounds found in cinnamon appear to inhibit the buildup of a protein called tau in the brain, which is one of the hallmarks of Alzheimer’s disease [13].
Cinnamon may help reduce total cholesterol, LDL (bad) cholesterol, and triglycerides, while HDL (good) cholesterol remained stable [14]. A large study concluded that cinnamon can also help increase HDL cholesterol [15].
People Mainly Use Ceylon Cinnamon For It’s Antioxidant Qualities
Antioxidants protect your body from oxidative damage caused by free radicals.Cinnamon is loaded with powerful antioxidants, such as polyphenols [16].In a study that compared the antioxidant activity of 26 spices, cinnamon wound up as the clear winner, even outranking “superfoods” like garlic and oregano [17].In fact, it is so powerful that cinnamon can be used as a natural food preservative [18].Studies show that this spice and its antioxidants have potent anti-inflammatory properties [19].Blood Sugar RegulationCinnamon is well known for its blood-sugar-lowering properties.Apart from the beneficial effects on insulin resistance, cinnamon can lower blood sugar by several other mechanisms.First, cinnamon has been shown to decrease the amount of glucose that enters your bloodstream after a meal.It does this by interfering with numerous digestive enzymes, which slows the breakdown of carbohydrates in your digestive tract [20].Second, a compound in cinnamon can act on cells by mimicking insulin [21].This greatly improves glucose uptake by your cells, though it acts much slower than insulin itself.Numerous human studies have confirmed the anti-diabetic effects of cinnamon, showing that it can lower fasting blood sugar levels. The effective dose is typically 1–6 grams or around 0.5–2 teaspoons of cinnamon per day.Brain Function Support & ProtectionCinnamon may help delay cognitive impairment. A study on rats found cinnamon to improve cognition and reduce oxidation in the brain [22].Cinnamon may help with food cravings. By targeting a chemical in the brain involved in glucose and cholesterol (insulin), eating cinnamon may help you lose weight through reduced food intake [23].Cinnamon can help boost memory [24].Cinnamon is a great source of manganese. Two teaspoons of cinnamon provides about half the RDA of manganese, a powerful antioxidant that is essential for brain and body health [25].One study used Cinnamon aromatherapy on Children with ADHD, and found that it increased their attention [26].Here at Feel Younger, we believe in providing strong doses at reasonable prices. Our Ceylon Cinnamon Capsules provide a 1200mg dose of some of the finest and purest Ceylon Cinnamon on the market. We’re proud to say that Our Ceylon Cinnamon is high quality, high purity, all natural, organic, non GMO, made in the USA and contains no nasty fillers or binders. It is also lactose free and is vegan and vegetarian friendly.60 Capsules will cost no more than $19, with discounts available on multiple bottles or subscription orders. How do you take it?Take 1-2 Ceylon Cinnamon Capsules once a day, with water or preferably with a carbohydrate containing meal.Any cautions? As Ceylon Cinnamon is effective at lowering blood sugar levels, it can lead to tiredness, dizziness and possibly fainting - the biggest risk are people already taking medications for diabetes.ALWAYS consult a healthcare professional before taking any new supplements.

The top 11 ways to improve the health of your beard
Here’s the top 11 things you can do to improve the health and overall looks of your beard:
Eat an organic, nutrient dense diet. Your hair needs essential vitamins and minerals (particularly B vitamins) to enable proper growth [1]
Wash your beard like you would your hair. Just like your hair, your beard needs to be washed. If you neglect it, it will become greasy and sebum (oil) will block your hair follicles increasing the risk of beard hairs falling out [2].
Don’t spend too long in the sun. Overexposure to the sun can result in UV radiation damaging your beard hair [3]. It will also dry it out, which will increase the chances of strands snapping. You should also limit use of blow dryers, and other heat inducing devices on your beard.
Reduce your stress. Many studies have been conducted on how stress affects hair growth and loss [4].
Stop smoking. Smoking inhibits proper circulation of blood around your body. This means that your beard hair and follicles won’t get the oxygen and nutrients they need to grow optimally [5].
Don’t comb your beard too often. Over combing your beard will cause hairs to break or fall out, potentially giving you an uneven look.
Don’t rub your beard dry with a towel. Excessively rubbing your beard dry with a towel will again cause hairs to fall out. Instead, pat it dry.
Arrange a thyroid test. If your beard is patchy or losing hair excessively, your thyroid could be the cause [6].
Don’t trim it too early. It’s incredibly important to leave your beard to grow without a trim for 4-6 weeks. Once it’s grown out, you can even it up with a trim to “train” your beard to grow to the shape you want.
Support your beard with the minerals and nutrients it needs to grow and stay healthy:
Golden Jojoba Oil. Jojoba is a plant native to the deserts of North America. The nut grown by the Jojoba plant is especially sought after for its healing properties.Oil made from the nuts act as a humectant (to keep things moist), so it can help to reduce beard dandruff and keep the skin under your beard hydrated and moisturized.Waxy in nature, it can create a soothing layer on the surface of your skin to help ease irritation. This layer of oil on your skin will also help to regulate sebum production in your hair follicles.Jojoba oil also contains vitamin E, which is a powerful antioxidant. A study found that applying antioxidants to skin helped to improve the synthesis of collagen [7].Argan Oil. Made from kernels from the fruit of the argan tree - argan oil contains antioxidants and fatty acids that can benefit your beard and the skin underneath it.Vitamin E Oil. Vitamin E has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and is beneficial for skin health [8]. It can be used to treat a variety of skin conditions like acne.Sweet Almond Oil. Almond oil has been used traditionally for centuries to help soothe skin and is full of vitamin E and vitamin A.By combining the ingredients listed above into an easy to apply beard oil - we’ve taken the stress out of researching and buying each of these ingredients separately, and then trying to mix them together into a “beard formula” you can use daily. Here at Feel Younger®, we believe in providing top quality products at reasonable prices and use only the best ingredients we can get our hands on. Our beard oil HAS NOT been tested on animals. As well as the ingredients above, we’ve also added the following to our beard oil:Apricot Kernel Oil, Avocado Oil, Pumpkin Seed Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Hempseed Oil.Our 2oz can will cost you no more than $19, with discounts available for multiple bottle or subscription purchases. How Do You Use Feel Younger® 100% Natural Beard Oil With Jojoba?Shake the bottle before each use.Drop a dime sized amount of beard oil on your palm and apply from your skin down to the tip of your beard.Make sure you apply some of the oil to the skin underneath your beard.Any Cautions?Although extremely rare, the combination of ingredients found in this product may cause skin irritation or rashes. This product contains tree nut oils and natural botanicals - if you are an allergy sufferer you should test a small amount of the beard oil on your skin and monitor the effects throughout the day before using it on a bigger area.KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
ALWAYS consult a healthcare professional before using any new products.

If so, you may want to give CLA a try. What is CLA and where does it come from?CLA is short for Conjugated Linoleic Acid(s), which is, in essence, an omega-6 fatty acid, but a healthy one.CLA is a naturally occurring fatty acid that is produced by a bio-hydrogenation process in the rumen, and thus is present in dairy products and ruminant meat (9cis, 11 trans).28 different forms of CLA exist [1].The difference between these structures is that their double bonds are organized in different ways. It’s vital to keep in mind that something as small as this can make a massive difference to our cells.Traditional UseCLA supplements are most commonly sold because of their reputation for aiding weight loss [2].CLA is also sometimes used as a dietary supplement for bodybuilding.Story of DiscoveryIn 1987, researchers at the University of Wisconsin in Madison first discovered CLA.Dr. Pariza first noted an extract in beef, back in 1978, that appeared to be an anticarcinogenic, but it wasn’t until 1987 that he identified this extract to be CLA.Since the discovery, a surge of scientific studies and research have been conducted on how CLA affects body mass and other potential benefits it may have on human health. In the past, people received healthy doses of CLA through their diet, by consuming beef and dietary fats. However, the way cattle are raised has changed… and it is this change, as well as the change in people's diets today, that has lowered the amount of CLA people are able to ingest. The majority of cattle no longer graze in pastures on natural grass and other foods. Instead, they are fed meat products and processed grains. This has resulted in a decrease in cattle's internal production of CLA, meaning less conjugated linoleic acid is consumed from eating meat and dairy products.Furthermore, most people that worry about cholesterol and fat intake adjust their diets to eat less red meat and dairy products, which in turn reduces the amount of CLA in their diet.Fortunately, scientists have developed a process to convert the linoleic acid of pure safflower oil into conjugated linoleic acid. How does it work?CLA works in the following ways:
Boosts metabolism, thus aiding obesity & weight management by reducing body weight, reducing BMI, total fat mass, fat percentage and fat burned while sleeping [3].
CLA can improve blood pressure by increasing adiponectin and endothelial nitric oxide synthase activity [4].
Helps to reduce bad cholesterol (HDL-cholesterol), without impacting and raises good cholesterol levels (LDL-cholesterol).
Can help improve heart health by increasing the amount of C-reactive protein (CRP) in the blood, which is a marker for inflammation.
People mainly use CLA to: Aid Weight Loss
A study done on overweight Chinese subjects found that CLA supplementation (twice daily dissolved in milk) helped with weight loss over a 12-week period [5].The supplementation was found to reduce body weight, reduce BMI, reduce total fat mass, and reduce fat percentage. The treatment also reduced waist to hip ratio and reduced subcutaneous fat mass.Studies have shown that CLAs decrease lipid storage by increasing the rate of fat breakdown in fat tissue [6].The fatty acids also increase fatty acid oxidation and reduce glucose uptake in cultured fat cells.Improve Heart Health & CholesterolIn a study of 80 obese and hypertensive people, CLA combined with ramipril reduced blood pressure more than ramipril alone [7].Another study found that high intakes of both cis-9, trans-11 and trans-10, cis-12 CLA raised the level of HDL cholesterol in healthy women.HDL cholesterol promotes low cholesterol levels and healthy heart function [8].High levels of glucose result in major heart damage and heart problems. A study in rat cells found that cells pre-treated with CLA and then exposed to high glucose levels had reduced heart damage and a decreased risk of heart problems, than cells not pre-treated in the same conditions [9].Our CLA from Safflower oil is all natural (unlike most that are chemically altered), sugar free, hormone free, lactose free and doesn’t contain any nasty binders. Here at Feel Younger, we believe in providing strong doses at reasonable prices. Our CLA from Safflower oil softgels provide a 1000mg dose per softgel, and will cost you no more than $19, with discounts available on subscriptions for multiple bottles. How do you take it?Take one softgel with food, twice a day.Taking with food will help the body better utilize the CLA.Any cautions?Possible side effects of taking CLA can be excessive flatulence, bloating, nausea and diarrhoea.CLA can increase insulin resistance.ALWAYS consult a healthcare professional before taking any new supplements.

…you’ll want to give our 100% Natural Beard Balm With Jojoba a try!Why is it Important to Look After Your Beard? When it comes to the idea of having a big long beard, many men like the idea in theory. But the reality, if it’s not looked after properly, is that your beard:
Feels Itchy and uncomfortable beyond a certain length of growth
Looks like a straggly, long, entangled and dirty mass of hair that extends down from the chin
Collects food and is pretty unhygienic and potentially off putting to your partner!
But of course, in reality, your beard doesn’t have to fit that stereotype! Looking after your beard will:
Make your beard itch less and easier to comb
Promote better skin care by eliminating rashes
Keep it looking healthy, with a nice shine
Make it stronger, softer and smoother
Resolve Beard dandruff
Ensure your beard grows properly
Help to keep it protected in harsh weather or environments
Keep it smelling good
Boost your confidence and make you stand out from the crowd!
Failing to look after your beard properly will cause a range of issues, such as; looking unhealthy, hair falling out and snapping easily, growing unevenly, smelling bad, itching, having rashes develop underneath, and beard dandruff. All of these problems will negatively impact your confidence growing a beard and make you want to shave it off!How can you tell if your Beard is healthy, or if it needs some support?A healthy beard should be:
Smooth and shiny in appearance with good elasticity
Doesn’t shed many strands and has minimum breakages
Easily detangles and doesn’t frizz much in humid conditions
Doesn’t smell
Beard dandruff and itching are minimal
The top 10 ways to improve the health of your beardHere’s the top 10 things you can do to improve the health and overall looks of your beard:
A study found that applying antioxidants to skin helped to improve the synthesis of collagen [7].Naturally refined shea butter. Shea butter is made from the nuts of shea trees and is high in fatty acids and vitamins. It will help to keep the skin underneath your beard moisturized and hydrated, preventing itching and beard dandruff.Pure beeswax. Beeswax is taken from a bee colony's honeycomb (that worker bees make to store honey in) and due to its vitamin A content, it is naturally moisturizing. It also has antibacterial properties. For most people, beeswax does not block hair follicles on the skin and is not an irritant.Beeswax will help you to mold straggly hairs and hide split ends in your beard.Argan Oil. Almond oil has been used traditionally for centuries to help soothe skin and is full of vitamin E and vitamin A.

Improving blood sugar control
What is Elderberry and where does it come from?Elderberry comes from the Sambucus tree, which is a plant in the Adoxaceae family.Although Elderberry grows across North Africa, Asia and America, it is native to Europe and the most common variety is the black elderberry (Sambucus nigra) or European elder [1].Elderberry hosts an impressive nutritional profile. The fruits are dense in vitamins and minerals such as carotenoids (provitamin a), vitamin c, phosphorus, iron potassium, calcium and more [2].Elderberry flowers, berries and leaves also contain lots of antioxidants (anthocyanins, phenolics & flavonoids) that can help balance the immune system and lower oxidative stress [3].John Evelyn (a british researcher in the 17th century) said: “If the medicinal properties of its leaves, bark and berries (elderberry) were fully known, I cannot tell what our country man could ail for which he might not fetch a remedy, either for sickness or wounds.”Its use has been widespread throughout history, with elderberry based medication records dating as far back as Ancient Egypt, it’s been used to help treat fevers, flus, colds, cuts, burns and toothache. How can Elderberry support you?Elderberry’s impressive nutritional profile can provide many benefits, such as:
Immune system support due to the antioxidants found in the leaves, berries and flowers [4]
Helping to reduce inflammation due to their flavonoid content [5]
Improving heart health by lowering liver cholesterol, blood triglycerides, fat build up, blood pressure and blood sugar level control [6]
People mainly use Elderberry to:Boost Their Immune SystemAir traveling puts the immune system under enormous stress. Those who fly frequently (and especially long distance) are more susceptible to the common cold.A double-blind placebo-controlled study on air travelers showed that Elderberry supplementation reduced cold symptoms and duration [7].Another double-blind placebo-controlled study tested the efficacy of 15 ml of Elderberry extract syrup, given 4 times a day to 60 patients who were suffering from influenza-like symptoms. The control group who did not take elderberry extract took 7-8 days to improve, compared to 2-4 days for those who took the syrup [8]A different study on elderberry extract and the reduction of influenza b symptoms showed that those given the elderberry extract recovered in 2-3 days, compared to at least 6 days in the placebo group [9].A study on rats showed elderberry polyphenols supported immune defense by increasing the number of white blood cells [10].Promote Heart HealthElderberry may improve some markers of blood vessels and heart health.Diets high in flavonoids such as anthocyanins (which are found in elderberries) have been shown to reduce the risk of heart problems [11].Numerous studies have shown that elderberry juice can help reduce the total level of fat in the blood, while decreasing cholesterol [12].Type-2 diabetes is one of the major contributors to heart and vascular problems, so blood sugar management is imperative to eliminate the risk of contracting these problems.Various studies on mice have shown that elderberries can help improve blood sugar levels while increasing insulin secretion [13].Why Try Feel Younger® Elderberry Immune Support, 600mg Elderberry Fruit Extract? Our Elderberry Immune Support capsules are high quality, high purity, all natural, sugar free, lactose free, corn free, vegetarian and vegan friendly and contain no nasty binders. Here at Feel Younger, we believe in providing strong doses at reasonable prices.

How can Biotin help with this?Optimal levels of Biotin can potentially give you all these benefits and more.Biotin works as a coenzyme to help break down food, such as carbohydrates, fats and protein which in turn, may lead to increased energy levels.Biotin is essential for myelin sheath formation, a fatty substance that encompasses nerves and facilitates nerve impulse conduction. As such, Biotin deficiency can delay myelination.Vitamin B7 (Biotin) also plays a crucial role in white blood cell development. However, Biotin is most commonly used for:Healthy Skin - Biotin helps maintain the mucous membranes of the skin. Biotin also plays a crucial role in the metabolization of fat, which is necessary for maintaining healthy skin.Healthy Nails - A biotin deficiency may lead to brittle nails.Healthy Hair - Many hair products that claim to encourage healthier, stronger hair contain Biotin. Biotin deficiency may lead to hair loss, which indicates that the vitamin might be involved in keeping the hair healthy. What is Biotin? Also known as vitamin B-7 or vitamin H - Biotin is a coenzyme for carboxylases, the enzymes that assist in the metabolic processing of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates for energy production [1].Biotin is a water-soluble vitamin. This means it is not stored in your body for long. Your body does not manufacture it naturally, either. However, bacteria in your gut (called intestinal flora) can produce Biotin.Biotin is also needed for the development of white blood cells and a deficiency can be linked to impaired immune function and an increased risk of infection [2].How was it discovered?Biotin was first identified as a nutritive requirement of yeast. Originally called vitamin H, it was isolated in pure form in 1935; its structure was established in 1942, after it had been shown to be required by animals. Evidence for the necessity of biotin appeared with the discovery in 1927 that the addition of uncooked egg white to a diet that is otherwise nutritionally adequate, can produce toxicity and disease. This is because egg white contains a specific protein, avidin, that combines with biotin and thus prevents its absorption.Optimal Biotin levels Increase MetabolismBiotin is a coenzyme for carboxylases, the enzymes that assist in the metabolism of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates for energy production [3].These enzymes are essential for the following processes:
Gluconeogenesis, the metabolic pathway that produces glucose from non-carbohydrate sources including amino acids [4].
Cellular energy production [5].
The use of branched-chain amino acids (e.g., leucine, isoleucine, and valine) for neurotransmitter production and energy [6].
Synthesis and breakdown of fatty acids for energy [7].
Insulin release [8].
Inadequate vitamin B7 levels in the body can slow down metabolism, which may lead to fatigue, digestive problems, and weight gain [9].Healthy Brain Function requires Optimal Biotin levelsBiotin is required for myelin sheath formation, a fatty substance that surrounds nerves and facilitates nerve impulse conduction. As such, biotin deficiency can delay myelination [10].Biotin deficiency may also lead to a number of other neurological symptoms, including seizures, lack of muscle coordination, learning disabilities, hallucinations, depression, and lethargy. Most of these conditions can be resolved with biotin supplementation when they are caused by biotin deficiency [11]. Optimal Biotin levels Support the Immune SystemBiotin increases the production of Th1 cytokines like IL-1β and IFN-γ, which are essential for eliciting an immune response to combat bacterial and viral infections [12].Poor levels of vitamin B7 are associated with decreased antibody synthesis, T cell decay, and lower amounts of spleen cells and T cells in both animals and humans [13].Decreased rates of cellular proliferation during Biotin deficiency may account for some of these adverse effects on immune function [14].Biotin is a coenzyme for carboxylases, the enzymes that assist in the metabolism of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates for energy production [15].How do you know if you’d benefit from more Biotin? There are several factors that can deplete your Biotin or increase your need for Biotin. These include:The BTD gene encodes biotinidase, an enzyme that recycles biotin. Biotinidase transports free biotin through the bloodstream and attaches biotin to other proteins [16]. Certain SNPs related to the BTD gene can increase your dietary requirement for Biotin.Lipoic acid competes with vitamin B7 for binding to the sodium-dependent multivitamin transporter (SMVT) in the intestine, so long-term use of lipoic acid could result in depleted vitamin B7 levels [17].Similarly, large doses of vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) have the potential to compete with vitamin B7 for absorption by the SMVT [18].Prolonged use of antibiotics like tetracycline and sulfonamides can reduce biotin levels because they kill biotin-producing bacteria in the intestines [19].Furthermore, some anticonvulsants such as primidone and carbamazepine inhibit vitamin B7 absorption. Chronic anticonvulsant use can also increase vitamin B7 breakdown [20].Raw egg whites contain the protein avidin, which binds biotin tightly and inhibits its absorption [21].Smoking accelerates biotin breakdown, especially in women, resulting in marginal biotin deficiency [22].Chronic alcohol consumption can inhibit intestinal biotin absorption [23].You can do a blood test to assess Biotin levels, but a more sensitive and accurate test to measure for suboptimal biotin levels is for the urinary metabolites 3-Hydroxypropionic Acid (3-HPA) and 3-Hydroxyisovaleric Acid. Talk to your Practitioner to arrange these tests for you if you think you may be low.Why try Feel Younger® Biotin 10,000mcg for Hair, Skin and NailsOur Biotin capsules are high quality, high purity, contain no binders and are vegetarian and vegan friendly. Here at Feel Younger, we believe in supplying effective quantities, at reasonable prices… and that’s why a bottle of our Biotin capsules gives you a 10,000 mcg dose and costs a maximum of $15, with larger discounts available for subscriptions of purchases of multiple bottles. How do you take Biotin 10,000mcg for Hair, Skin and Nails?Take 1 capsule a day with water, preferably 20-30 minutes before a meal, or with a meal, depending on the advice of your healthcare practitionerALWAYS consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking Biotin supplements, especially as biotin supplementation can provide inaccurate results on some blood tests.Any cautions?Taking too much Biotin may cause skin rashes, digestive upset, problems with insulin release and kidney problems.Biotin is generally considered safe and no toxicity has been reported for doses up to 300,000 mcg/day orally and 20,000 mcg intravenously [24].Since it is a water-soluble vitamin, vitamin B7 overdose is unlikely as excess amounts are excreted in the urine [25].

Return Hormonal Balance to Your Body
Support Your Body In Estrogen Detoxification (Lowering Estrogen Levels)
Reduce Gynecomastia
Combat Erectile Dysfunction
Boost Your Fertility
Improve Your Mood
If so, you may want to give our Natural PCT Formula for Hormonal Support a try!Along with the benefits listed above, you may also experience a whole host of other benefits, such as:
Lower Blood Pressure
Cholesterol Level Support
Improved Brain Health
Blood Sugar Regulation
Better Bone & Joint Health
Anti-inflammatory Support
Antioxidant Support
Lower Stress Levels
Protection for Your Prostate
Liver Protection
Why is it important to Support Your Hormone Levels?Generally speaking, testosterone is known as the “masculine hormone”, and estrogen (or estradiol) is known as the “feminine hormone”.While estrogen is necessary for the male body to function properly, excess levels can cause a whole host of problems, such as:
Enlarged breast tissue (gynecomastia)
Infertility
Erectile dysfunction
Low mood
If a man has excessive estrogen levels along with low testosterone levels then these symptoms can be enhanced, as well as a variety of different problems developing, such as:
Low sex drive
Loss of muscle mass
Fatigue
Obesity
Loss of body or facial hair
Excessive estrogen can also be an issue for women in certain situations.
What can cause excess levels of Estrogen?
There are many factors that can lead to excess levels of estrogen, including:
Certain antibiotics, medications and other pharmaceuticals
Hypogonadism (and other problems that can lead to hormone imbalances)
Excess weight/obesity
Liver problems
Stres
Poor diet, and particularly eating: soy, fruit and veg sprayed with pesticides, plastic containers, styrofoam and water bottles
Aging
Fabric softeners, detergents, most shampoos and lotions
Inhaling xenoestrogens from gasses of chemicals from many things, such as: paint, fuel, lubricants, packing materials, plant fertilizers, carpets, printers & copiers, air fresheners and more.
Can you test the levels of estrogen in your body? There are a few different ways that you can test the levels of estrogen in your body:
A blood test that needs to be done at your physician's office
A 24 hour urine test - your physician will give you a container to collect all of the urine you pass within a 24 hour period.
A saliva test - this can be done at home. Contact your physician for the next steps.
The Top 10 Ways to lower the estrogen levels in your body:Whether you have a little extra estrogen, or excessive levels of estrogen - or simply just suspect it… here’s the top 10 ways you can reduce estrogen in your body:
Eat an Organic, clean and nutrient dense diet. Pesticides are known to be EDCs (endocrine disrupting chemicals interfere with the endocrine system that controls hormone production in your body). EDCs can have an estrogenic, antiestrogenic, androgenic or antiandrogenic effect.
Limiting your exposure to pesticides may help to decrease concentrations of estradiol and the suppression of testosterone production in your body [1].There are concerns over soy (that contain phytoestrogens) raising estrogen levels in men [2], so it’s probably best to avoid soy products.
Reduce your stress. Although hormone production is not solely linked to the HPA axis (how your body copes with stress), extreme or prolonged stress can cause an imbalance of hormones, and can either suppress or encourage the production of testosterone and/or estrogen. There are many ways to reduce your stress, such as meditation and breathing exercises. You can also try supplementing with our Serenity Anti-Stress Support, Saffron and 5 HTP products.
Lift some weights. Lifting weights has been proven to raise testosterone levels, helping you along the way to balancing your hormones [3].
Lose some weight. Eating a clean, organic and nutrient dense diet (1st point) will help to normalize your weight over time. Being overweight can be linked to increased levels of estrogen [4].
Avoid certain medications. There are many antibiotics, medications and other pharmaceuticals that contain estrogens - ampicillin for example. Taking these medicines will increase your estrogen levels significantly, countering any efforts you’re making to lower them.
Limit your exposure to microplastics. To create plastics, EDCs are used as additives in the process. Limiting your exposure to microplastics can help to return hormonal balance to your body [5].Things you should try to avoid are: foods wrapped in plastic, plastic tupperware, plastic bottles, eating out of styrofoam (or any type of plastic) - especially when hot, which causes plastic to literally melt into the food… nasty!
Limit your exposure to xenoestrogens. A man made chemical that mimics estrogen - these chemicals disrupt hormonal balance in our bodies.Things to avoid: synthetic fragrances and perfumes, air fresheners, aerosol sprays, scented candles, laundry detergents, fabric softeners, household cleaning products… Hopefully you can see the recurring theme here - anything that smells nice and is synthetically made. Natural fragrances are fine. You’ll also need to steer clear from the smell of new carpets, printer & copier ink, paint, packing materials, artificial lubricants, fuel, plant fertilizers and more. Anything that emits these man made fumes contains xenoestrogens [6].If you absolutely have to use cleaning chemicals, for example, consider using a mask to stop inhalation of the fumes, and leave windows and doors open.
Take a test for hypogonadism (especially if you have diabetes). You could be experiencing symptoms of hypogonadism, as opposed to excess levels of estrogen in your body [7].
Arrange a liver test. Cirrhosis of the liver is when scar tissue builds up as a result of liver damage. Estrogen concentration in cirrhotic patients is thought to increase by fourfold [8].
Support your body with the nutrients and minerals it needs to boost testosterone and protect your liver as it removes excess estrogen in your body:
Indole-3-carbinol. Found in cruciferous vegetables such as cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli and kale - indole-3-carbinol can help to balance estradiol levels, while aiding estrogen detoxification [9].Chrysin. A flavonoid found in honey and mint - chrysin has been shown to possess aromatase (plays a crucial role in the biosynthesis of estrogens) inhibiting qualities [10]. Aromatase converts testosterone into estradiol.Resveratrol. Resveratrol can bind to estrogen receptors which has a balancing effect on estrogen levels [11].Fenugreek. Has been shown to increase testosterone in men, and can help to reduce body fat [12] and therefore, aromatase (higher levels of body fat is associated with increased levels of aromatase).Tongkat Ali. Can block aromatase [13] and has been shown to increase sperm quality in mice by reversing the inhibition of testosterone production caused by estrogen [14].3-4-Divanillyltetrahydrofuran. A compound present in stinging nettle roots (urtica fissa) - 3-4-DVT has been shown to increase the activity of testosterone in cell cultures [15].Milk Thistle. Contains a compound called Silymarin which acts as an antioxidant and can provide protection to the liver. Silymarin has been used to treat a whole host of liver problems [16]. Excess estrogen levels can lead to liver problems [17].N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine. Has hepatic (liver) protective qualities and has been used as an effective drug to treat liver disorders [18].

…if so, you’ll want to give our Hair Oil, with 9 Nutrient Rich Oils, a try!Why is it Important to Oil Your Hair & Scalp?Your hair is one of the first things that other people notice when they meet you or look at your pictures online, so having unhealthy hair will directly affect your confidence.Did you know that having healthy hair can also be a good overall indicator of your general health? When your hair is vibrant and healthy, it’s a good sign that you have enough nutrients in your body for the many processes that happen within you to work optimally. When you have healthy hair that is shiny, smooth, has good elasticity, hardly sheds and detangles easily - you will be more confident, which will help you to live a more fulfilling life.If you fail to look after your hair and scalp properly, you may experience split ends, frizziness, dryness, dandruff, itchiness and a distinct objection to looking in any mirror you see!You can also develop a condition called hygral fatigue - damage to your hair follicles which occurs when excess moisture enters the lower layers in the follicle beneath the cuticle (the top layer). When you wet your hair, the follicles expand. When you dry your hair, the follicles contract and close back up.If you wet your hair before it’s totally dry it will cause this process to repeat, which puts strain on the hair follicle - this is called hygral fatigue. This straining on the hair follicles will reduce the overall health, strength and elasticity of your hair.Symptoms of hygral fatigue are:
Excess breakage & brittle hair
Dull hair
Frizzy hair
Easily tangled hair (& excessively tangling)
Can cause dryness
Some of the main factors that can cause hygral fatigue are:
Genetics based on how porous the hair follicle is (how easily water gets through)
Overwashing with shampoos and conditioners which strip your scalp of natural protective oils that help to stop moisture getting into the follicles
Excessive or frequent use of deep conditioners and hair masks also strips protective oils
Highly alkaline hair products can also strip protective oils from your scalp, cause hair breakages and damage to hair follicle cuticles..
Hygral fatigue can lead to premature hair loss, which is definitely not a way to feel younger! How can you tell if your Hair & Scalp are healthy, or if they need some Support?Healthy hair should be:
Smooth and shiny in appearance
Have good elasticity
Doesn’t shed many strands
Has minimum breakages
Easily detangles
Doesn’t frizz much in humid conditions
A healthy scalp should be:
Flake free
Itch and irritation free
Clear of redness or signs of infection
No signs of disruption to the skin of the scalp
The Top 10 ways to Improve the Health of your Hair and ScalpHere’s the top 10 things you can do to improve the health and overall looks of your hair and scalp:
Eat an organic, nutrient dense diet. Your hair needs essential vitamins and minerals (particularly B vitamins) to enable proper growth [1]
Don’t overwash your hair. Every 2-3 days will suffice [2].
Don’t use overly alkaline shampoos and conditioners. Products with a pH value of 5.5 (the same as your scalp) can help to prevent damage to hair cuticles, lessen the chance of breakages and stripping away natural oils on the scalp [3].
Don’t deep condition or use hair masks too often. If your hair or scalp are already damaged, we’d recommend deep conditioning and using hair masks once or twice a month at the most, to avoid any further damage. Be sure to follow the recommendations on your hair products bottles. Leaving products on for too long can cause hair shafts to expand too much and break off.
Don’t wet your hair again until it’s completely dry. Doing so contributes to the development of hygral fatigue, which is irreversible.
Take care brushing your hair. It’s best to brush your hair when it’s dry, to reduce the chances of breakages or pulling hair out of the follicles when they’re swollen and open.
Take care when shampooing. Massage shampoo into your scalp gently to prevent damage to it. The same goes for your hair - when you shampoo with too much force, you risk damaging the outer layer of your hair.
Don’t rub your hair with a towel. There’s a natural tendency to rub your hair when it’s wet - however, this is when your hair and scalp are in their most vulnerable state. Instead, gently pat it dry or wrap a towel around your hair and leave it to dry naturally.
Stop excessively brushing and combing. There’s a common myth that 100 strokes with a brush a day is essential for hair health… however - this is not the case. Excessive brushing and combing can lead to further hair loss [4]
Provide your hair and scalp with nutrients and oils it needs to prevent damage and remain healthy:
Argan Oil. Made from kernels from the fruit of the argan tree - argan oil contains antioxidants and fatty acids that can benefit your scalp.Jojoba Oil. Jojoba is a plant native to the deserts of North America. The nut grown by the Jojoba plant is especially sought after for its healing properties.Oil made from the nuts act as a humectant (to keep things moist), so it can help to reduce dandruff and keep your scalp hydrated and moisturized.Waxy in nature, it can create a soothing layer on the surface of your scalp to help ease irritation. This layer of oil on your skin will also help to regulate sebum production in your hair follicles.Jojoba oil also contains vitamin E, which is a powerful antioxidant. A study found that applying antioxidants to skin helped to improve the synthesis of collagen [5], which plays a crucial role in the health of your hair and scalp follicles.Vitamin E Oil. Vitamin E has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and is beneficial for scalp health [6] because it can support the overall health of your scalp by potentially preventing hair loss, balancing oil production, adding a desirable shine to your hair and improving circulation to the scalp.Sweet Almond Oil. Almond oil has been used traditionally for centuries to help soothe skin and is full of vitamin E and vitamin A. It can help to strengthen and repair your hair, while making it feel softer to the touch. Its vitamin E content can help to combat the stress your hair endures on an everyday basis from the environment, giving it that younger and healthier look.Apricot Kernel Oil. Rich in vitamin E and fatty acids, this oil is emollient in nature (softening & smoothening) and can be easily absorbed into the scalp.Avocado Oil. High in fatty acids and vitamins A and E - the topical application of this oil can also reap the benefits of the oils rich antioxidant content and can promote skin membrane health [7].Pumpkin Seed Oil. Can help to stimulate new hair growth.Grapeseed Oil. Helps to add strength to your hair, as well as providing moisture and shine.Hempseed Oil. Contains fatty acids omega-3 & omega-6 which can help to hydrate the hair and scalp, as well as providing extra protection.By combining the ingredients listed above into an easy to apply hair oil - we’ve taken the stress out of researching and buying each of these ingredients separately, and then trying to mix them together into the “perfect concoction” you can use daily. Here at Feel Younger®, we believe in providing top quality products at reasonable prices and use only the best ingredients we can get our hands on. What is Chlorella and Where Does it Come From?Chlorella is a single celled, green freshwater algae [1]. Its impressive nutritional profile has led some to call it a “super food.” While its exact nutrient content depends on growing conditions, the species used and how supplements are processed, it’s clear it packs several beneficial nutrients, they include:
Protein: Chlorella is 50–60% protein. It’s a complete protein source, meaning it contains all nine essential amino acids [2].
Vitamin B12: Some types of chlorella may also contain vitamin B12, but more studies are needed [3].
Iron and vitamin C: Chlorella can be a good source of iron. Depending on the supplement, it can provide anywhere from 6–40% of your daily needs. It’s also a terrific source of vitamin C, which helps you absorb iron [4].
Other antioxidants: These microscopic green cells provide a wide range of antioxidants [5].
Other vitamins and minerals: Chlorella provides small amounts of magnesium, zinc, copper, potassium, calcium, folic acid and other B vitamins [6].
Omega-3s: As with other algae, chlorella contains some omega-3s. Just 3 grams of chlorella contains 100 mg of omega-3s [7].
Fiber: In large quantities, chlorella can be a great source of fiber, although most supplements won’t provide even 1 gram of fiber per dose [8].
Because chlorella has a hard cell wall that humans cannot digest, you must take it as a supplement to reap its benefits (broken wall) [9].Chlorella is also high in chlorophyll – a green pigment that plants use to make energy from sunlight and helps rid the body of toxins. The majority of Chlorella that is available in the U.S is grown in Japan or Taiwan.Theoretically, Chlorella simply needs sunlight, freshwater and a few minerals to grow, and therefore is available worldwide - usually found next to lakes with freshwater.Traditional UseChlorella is sold extensively as a supplement or nutraceutical product [10] and is mainly used for nutrition and as medicine.Chlorella is being used all around the world, in countries such as Japan, the USA, Europe, and more. In East Asia, it is consumed with pancakes, tea and rice.It is believed to have many health benefits, such as reducing blood sugar and cholesterol, protecting the heart and liver, helping to prevent anemia, supports detoxing, helps combat oxidative stress, may improve mental health and enhance physical performance.Story of DiscoveryChlorella is believed to have been born around 2 billion years ago, and is thought to be the “source of life on earth”.Due to its microscopic size, it wasn’t discovered until the late 19th century. In 1890, A Dutch scientist called Beijerinck discovered a beautiful, small green plant that was just about visible under a microscope. The name given to this tiny green plant was “chlorella”, in which the Greek word “chloros” (meaning green) and the Latin word “ella” (meaning small) were combined.Interest in Chlorella production began in the 1960s, when a company in Japan started to culture it on a large scale. How does it work?
Chlorella has been hailed for its ability to help the body “detox”. Animal studies have shown that it’s effective at helping to remove heavy metals and other harmful compounds from the body [11].
Chlorella contains several compounds that are considered antioxidants, including chlorophyll, vitamin C, beta-carotene, lycopene and lutein [12].
Many sources claim chlorella eases digestion and reduces bloating.
Chlorella has been found to enhance the immune response in both animal and human studies. In one study men produced more antibodies when taking chlorella than when they took a placebo [13].
Chlorella is packed with nutritional content such as protein, vitamin B12, iron, vitamin C, a wide range of antioxidants, small amounts of magnesium, copper, calcium, folic acid, zinc, potassium, other B vitamins, Omega 3 fatty acids and large quantities of fiber [14].
Chlorella contains the highest concentration in the world of the amino acid Tryptophan, which is the precursor to serotonin - a neurotransmitter that helps relax you, reduce anxiety and depression and improves your mood.
People use Chlorella for many things, such as: Help with Detoxing
Small amounts of some heavy metals, such as iron and copper, are essential for the body to function properly - but they can be toxic in larger amounts. While it’s quite rare to have dangerous levels of these heavy metals in your body, exposure to heavy metals through pollution or certain jobs, such as mining, increase the risk of dangerously high levels building up in your system [15].Algaes such as chlorella, have been found to reduce the toxic effect of heavy metals in the liver, brain and kidneys in animals [16].Chlorella has also been shown to help lower the amount of other harmful chemicals that can sometimes be found in foods, such as dioxin, which is a hormone disruptor that can contaminate animals in the food supply. This evidence seems to suggest that chlorella may help enhance your body’s natural ability to clear toxins.Antioxidant SupportChlorella contains many compounds that are considered to be antioxidants, such as vitamin C, lycopene, lutein, chlorophyll, and beta-carotene,Some of these antioxidants seem to reduce the production of advanced glycation end products (AGEs), which drive many of the complications of diabetes [17].A human study showed chlorella supplements increased antioxidant levels in cigarette smokers, who are at a higher risk of oxidative damage [18].Increased Immune ResponseIn a trial of 51 healthy participants, Chlorella tablets enhanced immunity. They increased NK cell activity, IL-1beta, and the Th1 response in people who ingested these tablets for 8 weeks [19].Intense exercise can weaken the immune system. In a placebo-controlled study performed in 10 female athletes, 5 weeks of Chlorella supplementation prevented the decrease in immune function (measured by salivary immunoglobulin A) during a training camp [20].Another study of 15 men, revealed that salivary IgA was increased in participants when they ingested Chlorella tablets for 4 weeks [21].A study of 35 pregnant women showed increased IgA levels in the breast milk of women that consumed Chlorella for 6 months before giving birth. Higher levels of IgA in breast milk helps reduce the risk of infection in nursing infants [22].Chlorella protected mice from E. coli and Listeria monocytogenes infection in two animal trials [23].In mice, Chlorella counteracted the effect of a chemotherapeutic drug (Cyclophosphamide) that suppresses the immune system by recovering NK cell function and increasing Th1 cytokines (IL-2, IL-12, TNF-a, IFN-y) [24].Our Chlorella capsules are high quality, high purity, all natural, vegan and vegetarian friendly and do not contain any nasty fillers or binders. Here at Feel Younger we believe in providing high doses at reasonable prices. Our Chlorella capsules contain a 500mg dosage, and will cost no more than $24, with multiple bottle discounts and subscription savings available. How do you take it?Take one capsule twice a day, with water - preferably 20-30 minutes before a meal.Any cautions?Chlorella is generally recognized as safe by the FDA, but some people may experience side effects such as nausea and abdominal discomfort.
ALWAYS consult a healthcare professional before taking any new supplements.

Why is it important to support your Hair, Skin and Nails? It’s incredibly important to keep the condition of your hair, skin and nails in good health for a variety of reasons, other than the most obvious: because healthy skin hair and nails makes you look a lot better! For instance, did you know that having healthy hair can be a good overall indicator of your general health. When your hair is vibrant and healthy, it’s a good sign that you have enough nutrients in your body for the many processes that happen within you to work optimally. When you have healthy hair that is shiny, smooth, has good elasticity, hardly sheds and detangles easily - you will be more confident, which will help you to live a more fulfilling life. Our skin is the largest organ of our body and protects us in many ways:
Forms a barrier and protects our nerves, blood vessels, muscles and bones, as well as everything else inside our body, preventing bacteria and other foreign objects from getting inside
Nerves on the skin are the reason we can feel. Without nerves, we would not know what is dangerous to our bodies and life (pain).
Extreme temperatures are damaging to our bodies, and nerves help us to know what is too hot, or too cold and our skin helps regulate body temperature by sweating when we are too hot, and keeps valuable warmth in when it’s cold.
Our skin protects us from ultraviolet light that damages cells.
Vitamin D is produced by healthy skin when directly exposed to the sun. Vitamin D is crucial for many bodily functions, such as regulating levels of phosphate and calcium in our body (that are crucial for healthy bones, muscles and teeth), as well as facilitating normal immune function.
Our nails are also crucial to overall health and wellbeing. We use our hands every day and the nails act as a hard outer covering which enables us to grip things tighter, scratch itches, pick bugs off us, perform tasks that require digging and provide an additional barrier for entry to bacteria that is dangerous to our bodies. The cuticle (area of skin above the bottom of your nail) also acts as a barrier for where the nail meets your fingers or toes, again - to stop dangerous bacteria entering our body. Not only is this layer of protection vital for our bodies - healthy nails also boost your confidence.Poor nail health can also be a reflection of your overall health. Nails are made from keratin (the same as skin) and if your body is not able to produce healthy skin cells (hormonal imbalances or vitamin deficiencies) the first sign is usually in your nails. What Causes Unhealthy Hair, Skin & Nails? There are a variety of different factors that can contribute to poor hair, skin and nail health, such as:
Poor Diet. For healthy hair and skin, you need a variety of nutrients [1], vitamins and minerals… and for nails, especially Zinc.
Stress. Many studies have been conducted on how stress affects hair growth and loss [2]. Stress can also adversely affect your skin (acne outbreaks and increased severity) as well as causing pitting, ridging and shredding of your nails.
Dryness. Too much heat or sub-optimal weather conditions such as low humidity and dry/hot weather can cause your hair to damage and break. This is especially more common today (especially in women), because of products that use heat to style hair (straighteners, curlers etc.). This extreme heat causes damage to the cuticles and causes hair damage and breakage.
Overexposure to moisture. Washing your hair strips your scalp of the natural oil (sebum) that keeps your scalp and hair healthy, moisturized and protects from oxidative damage from the elements.Too many long, hot showers can also dry your skin out and frequent contact with moisture or chemicals, such as cleaning products, washing up liquid or nail polish and remover.
Smoking. Cigarette smoking and the causative effects it has on our hair skin and nails has been studied heavily. Smoking affects several biophysical characteristics of the skin [3].
Rubbing your hair with a towel. There’s a natural tendency to rub your hair when it’s wet - however, this is when your hair and scalp are in their most vulnerable state.
Excessive brushing and combing. There’s a common myth that 100 strokes with a brush a day is essential for hair health… however - this is not the case. Excessive brushing and combing can lead to further hair loss [4]
An underactive thyroid. The thyroid plays a part in many bodily functions, and hair growth is one of them.
Repeatedly pressing too firmly with your nails. This can cause the ends of your nails to become damaged, and can even cause the nail to come off.
Underlying conditions. Your nails can be the first to experience symptoms if there is something else going on in your body.
How can you tell if your Hair, Skin and Nails are healthy, or if they need some support?Healthy hair should be smooth and shiny in appearance with good elasticity, doesn’t shed many strands and has minimum breakage, easily detangles and doesn’t frizz much in humid conditions.Healthy skin doesn’t feel dry after washing, feels and stays hydrated/moisturized, is flake free and doesn’t get sun spots.Healthy nails are smooth without pits or grooves, are a healthy pink color (not yellow, black etc.) and have no white spots, clubbing, mees’ lines or dark bands below the tips. How to improve your hair, skin & nailsThere are many things you can change in your lifestyle that can improve the health of your hair, skin and nails.
Eat an organic diet, with lots of nutrient dense foods
Improve your mental state and reduce stress. Meditation is a great way to do this [5], as well as taking natural supplements that can help increase your mood, such as our 5 HTP, Serenity Anti-Stress Support, Saffron Pure Extract OR Organic Ashwagandha with Black Pepper
Stop smoking
Arrange a thyroid test
For hair - limit use of straighteners, and other heat induced devices, don’t wash too regularly, brush too often, tie back too tight or rub your hair with a towel to dry it. Get a haircut at least 3-4 times a year.
For skin - shower or bathe once a day and always wash after exercise. Don’t use tanning beds or fake tan products.
For nails - wear gloves when washing the dishes or handling chemicals and don’t use your nails for tasks that require pressure.
We appreciate that making all of these lifestyle changes can be challenging, and it’s always best to make a couple of changes at a time and take a step-by-step process to leading a healthier lifestyle to benefit your hair, skin and nails.Listed below are vitamins and minerals that can help you achieve your goal of healthy hair, skin and nails:Vitamin A - Vitamin A is essential for cell growth, and can help to maintain surface tissues (such as skin) [6].It is a powerful antioxidant and helps to protect your body from free radicals that create oxidative stress [7].Vitamin C - Vitamin C can’t be produced by the body, yet it has been linked to many impressive health benefits. It plays a key role in connective tissue healing, and is vital in the production of collagen [8].Collagen is a protein that helps give integrity, strength and shape to many tissues such as fingernails, hair and teeth [9].Vitamin c deficiency can cause brittle nails and slowed nail growth [10] and its antioxidant properties means it aids in UV radiation protection [11].Calcium - Calcium deficiency can slow nail growth, and the first signs of a deficiency may be shown in the nails [12].Iron - Iron aids in the production of hemoglobin (a type of protein found in red blood cells). Hemoglobin carries oxygen to cells and helps them to repair and grow, including cells that help your hair grow [13].This means that iron also plays a crucial role in skin healing and repair [14], and helps to minimize the appearance of bruises [15].Vitamin D3 - Keratinocytes are cells in the skin that process keratin, which is a protein found in hair, skin and nails - metabolize vitamin D [16]When there’s a deficiency of Vitamin D in your body, hair follicles can’t regulate hair growth and shedding efficiently.Vitamin D has been shown to potentially improve mood and sleep, which will lower stress. Stress can be linked to hair loss, so good levels of vitamin D are essential [17].Vitamin E - Vitamin E is another powerful antioxidant that can help reduce free radicals and oxidative stress (which has been linked to hair loss). A lot of hair products use vitamin E because it can make hair younger looking and more manageable.A study on people struggling with hair loss supplemented with vitamin E and showed improved hair growth [18].Vitamin B1 - Vitamin B1 (thiamine) is essential for cellular functions, production of energy and works as an antioxidant. It has been shown in studies to help reduce oxidative stress [19]. This means that it can help protect the scalp, hair and nails from UV radiation.Vitamin B6 - Vitamin B6 is needed to create neurotransmitters that regulate emotions, such as dopamine and serotonin [20]. Therefore, it can help improve your mood and lower stress levels, which in turn can reduce hair loss.Folate - Folate or Folic acid is mainly responsible for the healthy growth of cells found in your skin tissues (including hair and nails).Vitamin B12 - Vitamin B12 also plays a role in cell production, and adequate levels promote healthy hair, skin and nails. Vitamin B12 deficiency can also cause a variety of problems, such as nail discoloration [21].Biotin - Your body needs Biotin to produce keratin (a protein that makes up your hair, skin and nails) [22]. Deficiency can cause brittle nails and uncombable hair.Vitamin B5 - Vitamin B5, or pantothenic acid plays a key role in helping our bodies to maintain good health. It is well known for its role in maintaining good health of skin, hair and eyes [23].Magnesium - Magnesium is involved in protein synthesis in your body, which is required for nail growth [24].Zinc - Zinc is responsible for many reactions in the body, such as the division and growth of cells.Because nails are of keratin (a type of cell that divides and grows quickly), zinc is needed to promote the healthy growth of nails [25].Manganese - Manganese is responsible for producing proline (an amino acid) which is needed to form collagen, which helps with wound healing in skin cells [26].Potassium - Potassium improves cell renewal in your scalp by stimulating dormant hair follicles [27].Horse Tail Extract - Horsetail contains many compounds that can be beneficial to health, including antioxidants and silica [28].Silica (made from oxygen and silicon) is the compound that is believed to be beneficial for your hair, skin and nails [29].Bamboo Extract - Another herb that contains silica, bamboo also possesses many qualities that can be beneficial to overall health [30].Introducing Feel Younger® Hair Skin and Nails Vitality FormulaBy combining the ingredients listed above in an easy to swallow capsule - we’ve taken the stress out of buying each of these ingredients separately, researching and experimenting how much of each you should take and then incorporating them into your diet/supplement regime. Here at Feel younger, we believe in providing strong doses at reasonable prices. What is Tea Tree Oil and where does it come from?Tea Tree oil is made by the process of steam distillation of the leaves of the Australian Tea Tree, scientifically known as Melaleuca alternifolia. The tea tree can be found growing in the swamps on the southeast coastline of Australia [1].It’s best known for its powerful antimicrobial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties which can potentially help with a whole host of problems, from athlete’s foot, to acne.Story of Discovery & Traditional UseIn 1732, Captain James Cook first brought the attention of tea tree oil back to western society. It was named tea tree because of the refreshingly spicy tea he made from the leaves of the melaleuca alternifolia tree. For centuries, tea tree oil has been used traditionally by the Australian Aboriginal people. They extracted the oil that spills out of the tea tree leaves when crushed, and would inhale the fumes to help treat colds or coughs, as well as applying it topically to the skin for a variety of different healing reasons such as cuts, scrapes and swelling. It was also used to help soothe and cure sore throats. In around 1770, Captain James Cook learned more about the tea tree from the Aboriginal people of Australia, who told him all about their healing uses for this magical oil.Cook returned and was eager to have western doctors confirm tea trees' multifaceted healing abilities. Once confirmed, tea tree oil’s use skyrocketed and became a popular choice all over the world as an antimicrobial agent.Since then, people throughout the world have used tea tree oil to help treat a variety of different ailments. Mainly it is used for its antimicrobial properties, as well as its ability to help treat minor cuts, scrapes or injuries. What can Tea Tree Oil be used for?Tea Tree Oil has many uses when applied topically:
Contains terpinen-4-ol, amongst other compounds, which has been shown to be effective at killing types of fungi, viruses and bacteria [2], also making it an effective antiseptic for small cuts and grazes [3]
Numerous studies have shown tea tree oil can be an alternative treatment for athlete's foot (tinea pedis) [4]
Studies showed that adding tea tree oil to handwashes & hand sanitizers [5] made them more effective [6]
A study on 27 people showed that topical application of tea tree oil reduced swelling significantly [7]. It also reduced inflammation in mice [8]
A study on patients with acne, saw that a 5% tea tree oil solution saw an improvement in their acne, along with lessened symptoms of itching, dryness and scaling [9].
When added to shampoo, tea tree oil can help to control dandruff by slowing down the growth of Candida albicans [10]
Tea tree oil can help to trigger white blood cells that are needed to heal wounds, as well as reducing inflammation, resulting in boosted wound healing [11]
Tea tree oil can also be used as a chemical free mouthwash and can combat germs that lead to bad breath and tooth decay [12]
Antifungal, Antiviral & Anti-inflammatory PropertiesTea tree oil is most commonly used for a variety of different fungal infections, from fingernails to Athlete’s Foot.Athlete's foot is an extremely irritating fungal infection that mainly develops in between the toes and is highly contagious. It can also spread to other parts of the feet, as well as the hands. The infection causes severe itching and redness, and can even cause peeling, cracking and blistering of the skin.Studies have shown that tea tree oil can be effective at helping to relieve symptoms of athlete’s foot because of its powerful antifungal properties [13].A review on the oil’s ability to kill fungi and yeasts highlighted it as being effective [14].Why Try Feel Younger® Tea Tree Essential Oil 60ml?Here at Feel Younger, we believe in providing the best quality ingredients at reasonable prices… which is why Our Tea Tree Essential Oil is 100% pure and our 2 fl oz bottle will cost you no more than $13, with discounts available on subscriptions for multiple bottles. How do you use it?Tea Tree Oil is for external use only, and should not be ingested. Before you use tea tree oil, you should test how your skin reacts to it. First, apply a drop to your skin and monitor the results. There are a few ways you can use it:General use: Wash and pat skin dry, then apply a small amount with fingertips to your freshly cleansed and toned face, neck and décolleté area (avoid direct contact with eyes). For dry and painful areas of skin: Mix around 10 drops with melted coconut oil or moisturize of choice. As an antiseptic for small cuts and grazes: First make sure the cut is clean. Combine 1 drop with 1 teaspoon of coconut oil, apply to the scrape and cover with a bandage. Repeat this daily until a scab develops. As a mouthwash: Dilute 1 drop of tea tree oil in a warm cup of water and mix thoroughly. Gargle for 30 seconds, spit out and rinse your mouth. Do not swallow the mixture.Any Cautions?SHOULD NOT BE INGESTED - FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY.In very rare cases tea tree oil can cause contact dermatitis or irritation of the skin. It’s very important to use small amounts of tea tree oil, as large amounts can cause burning to the skin. 1 or 2 drops really is enough!Scientific References

What causes stress, and why is it important to lower your stress levels?Have you ever met someone who doesn’t experience much stress? It’s pretty rare. While certain types of stress are good (eustress), usually intense and brief stresses like exercise, a cold shower or getting outside your comfort zone every now and then, long term, chronic stress (distress) has been proven to be a significant factor in creating a large variety of health problems. There are different categories of Stress:
Mental Stress, like anxious thoughts and worrying about the past or future
Chemical Stresses, like toxins and infections
Emotional Stresses, like Anger and Sadness, or traumas
And Physical Stresses, like Hunger, Cold, Exhaustion etc
All of these are, to some degree, ‘normal’, and yet any of these stresses, once excessive, can cause significant and debilitating levels of suffering (distress), which can lead to health issues sooner or later.Any of the above stimuli can lead to being in a state of stress, which is where your fight or flight response activates your adrenal glands to release a cocktail of Neurochemicals into your body to help cope with the situation. Adrenaline, Noradrenaline and Cortisol are the 3 main Neurochemicals that are released.Adrenaline and Noradrenaline increase your heart rate, bring more blood flow into the muscles and lungs, give you a surge of energy and raise your blood pressure.Cortisol increases glucose levels in your blood, activates your brain to use more glucose and makes the substances that repair tissues more readily available in your body. All of this response is Good and Healthy, IF it is temporary (a few hours at most) and occasional (not every day). When you’re stressed, you can feel:
Angry, irritable or uptight
Overwhelmed
Unable to focus
Anxious and Worried
Afraid
If the Stress is Extreme enough, or Chronic enough, or both, you can go into another mode called the Dorsal Vagal Mode. In this state, the body has decided it is not worth fighting anymore, and the best strategy is to conserve energy and ‘play dead.’In this case, heart rate and blood pressure can go down, respiration decreases, energy production and metabolism decreases, and the person experiences very little energy or motivation, due to downregulation of Dopamine. This is often described as being depressed [1].In either case, whether you stay Chronically in a high stress state, or a Depressed state, or vacillation between the two, Prolonged exposure to these stress states can lead to many health problems, such as:
High or Low Blood Pressure
Heart problems
Obesity
Blood Sugar Dysregulation
Skin Conditions
Digestive Problems
Allergies and Intolerances
Exhaustion
Trouble sleeping
Headaches and dizziness
Uncontrollable muscle tension, such as the clenching of your jaw
Aches and pains
Weakened immune system, often leading to repeated and/or chronic infections
Difficulties having desire for sex (women) or inability to have sex (men).
Panic attacks
Can You Test For Stress? The best test for Stress is a 24 hour Saliva Cortisol Test, preferably with DHEA included. This gives you a snapshot of how much stress you are experiencing throughout the day, and can also give some clues as to whether the stress has been long term, and how depleted you are from it, if at all.The Top 8 Ways to Lower Your Stress Levels:Although there are situations that are out of your control that cause stress, the one thing you can learn to have control over is your emotional response to those situations. In other words, Stress is not something that happens to you, it’s your response to what happens to you. However, the stress response is largely automatic, so the only way to change how much situations ’stress you out’ is to retrain your nervous system to respond to situations in a more optimal way.Until recently, mainstream science believed that our ability to change our stress response was limited, but Wim Hof helped prove that we can control our response to even the most extreme stresses, proving his point by breaking dozens of world records and helping seemingly anyone who trained under him to completely change their stress response, e.g. by showing them how to climb to the top of Mount Everest unassisted wearing very little clothing! On a more practical, everyday level, there’s a variety of lifestyle changes you can make to help lower your stress levels, such as:
Meditating. Studies have shown the positive impacts of meditation on stress levels [2]. This is traditionally used for lowering mental stress particularly, and is also great for lowering emotional stress.
Eat a healthy organic diet. The negative effects of stress on your body can be lessened by eating a healthier, organic diet [3]. This reduces your Chemical Stress load.
Do breathing exercises [4] which can lower your heart rate, blood pressure and reduce anxiety. There are many out there to try. This is traditionally used for lowering emotional stress particularly.
Exercise regularly. Physical activity is a great way to have temporary physical stress which then actually lowers your overall stress and clears your mind [5].
Talk to someone about your problems. Simply “getting it off your chest” is a great way to reduce the pressure and stress you feel. Great for mental and emotional stress.
Stay social. All humans are, to some degree, social beings, and social isolation has been proven to increase stress levels [6]. Make sure you interact with people who do not consistently increase your emotional and mental stress!
Take some time off work. Whether that be a holiday, or giving yourself 2 days off a week - time off work where you can think about nothing and totally relax is essential to lower your stress.
Support your body with nutrients and minerals that will help you to be more relaxed, and lower your stress levels:
Calcium. Extreme fatigue can be caused by calcium deficiency, which can lead to insomnia [7]. Insomnia can lead to feeling worried, which in turn makes the insomnia worse! When we are sleep deprived, we are more susceptible to stress [8].B-Complex Vitamins. B vitamins, such as thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pyridoxine, biotin, d-calcium and pantothenate play crucial roles in mood regulation [9].Plus, the more stress we experience, the more B Vitamins we use. And then when we get low in B Vitamins we are less resilient to stress. Another vicious circle! Break the cycle with extra B Vitamins.Magnesium. Research suggests that being deficient in magnesium can increase your susceptibility to stress and anxiety [10], which causes further magnesium loss, and more stress [11].Zinc. Over time, zinc supplementation [12] can help to stabilize cortisol levels and raise your mood [13].Potassium. Studies have shown that potassium plays an important role in helping to regulate blood pressure [14].GABA. GABA (gamma aminobutyric acid) is an amino acid that naturally occurs in the body. It works as a neurotransmitter in the brain by attaching to GABA receptors (a protein in the brain) to produce a calming effect. As such, it can help reduce anxiety, stress and fear and also help with sleep [15].Lemon Balm. Lemon balm can help to reduce anxiety and symptoms of stress which helps you to relax more easily [16].A study showed that laboratory-induced psychological stress was eased when taking lemon balm and those who took the lemon balm self reported increased calmness and alertness [17].Passionflower. Passionflower (P. incarnata) is a herb that is thought to help lessen symptoms of insomnia [18] and reduce anxiety [19].It potentially does this by boosting the levels of GABA in your brain.Oat Straw. Oat straw has been used traditionally as a natural remedy to help relieve anxiety, depression and stress [20].It is thought to do this by inhibiting PDE4 (enzyme phosphodiesterase type 4), which in doing so could help relieve stress and anxiety [21].Introducing Feel Younger® Serenity Anti-Stress SupportWe understand that it’s not always easy, nor practical to implement a variety of lifestyle changes - especially all at once. We’d advise that you make as many of those changes as possible, but do so 1 or 2 at a time, make sure they stick and then move onto more.In the meantime, you can support your body with the essential nutrients and minerals it needs that can help lower your stress levels. That’s why in addition to the ingredients listed above, we’ve added the following ingredients to our Serenity Anti-Stress Support formula:
Rhodiola Extract - can help to reduce anxieties and combat depress [22]
Lutein - in mice, potentially helped to combat depression by protecting nerves in the hippocampus (a part of the brain responsible for emotions and memory) [23]
Ashwagandha - has been used for centuries as a tonic to help calm nerves. In two studies ashwagandha was shown to improve stress and happiness, while reducing cortisol levels [24]
Chamomile - A study on long-term ingestion of chamomile showed it reduced anxiety [25]
Skullcap - a study showed those who took skullcap daily for 2 weeks reported better mood compared to the placebo group [26]
Hawthorn - is thought to potentially help reduce anxiety [27] and has been used traditionally in chinese medicine to help lower blood pressure [28]
Bacopa - considered an adaptogenic herb (helps the body to adapt to stress), a study on rodents showed bacopa to have anti-anxiety effects similar to certain prescription medications [29]
Magnolia - contains neolignans (a type of polyphenol found in plants) that is believed to have many health benefits, one of which is helping with anxiety [30]
Valerian - A study on hemodialysis patients showed valerian significantly improved anxiety, stress and mood compared to a placebo [31]
L-Theanine - A review on people in experiencing stressful situations found that 4 of the 5 trials showed L-theanine to reduce stress and anxiety [32]
Mucuna Pruriens - can help boost dopamine levels (the ‘feel good’ hormone) [33]
St John’s Wort - has ingredients that appear to help regulate and elevate mood by increasing dopamine, noradrenaline, serotonin and other chemical messengers in the brain [34]
Hops - over a 4 week period, hops appeared to improve self reported symptoms of at least mid anxiety, stress and depression [35]
5 HTP - the precursor to serotonin. Having low serotonin levels can be associated with sleeping problems, anxiety, depression and more [36]
By combining the ingredients listed on this page into an easy to swallow capsule, we’ve taken the stress out of buying each of these ingredients separately, researching and experimenting how much of each you should take and then incorporating them into your diet/supplement regime. How Do You Take Feel Younger® Serenity Anti-Stress Support? For best results, take 2 capsules once a day with a glass of water, 20-30 minutes before a meal.Any Cautions?ALWAYS consult a healthcare professional before taking any new supplements.

Boosted brain function & cognition
Help with regulating blood sugar levels
Joint pain relief
What is Resveratrol and where does it come from?Resveratrol is a small polyphenol found in the skin of grapes, which it naturally produces to defend against parasites and toxins [1].Polyphenols are a type of compound found in plants that can offer a variety of health benefits.Regular consumption of polyphenols is thought to boost brain health, heart health, digestion and help regulate blood sugar levels.Polyphenols, which are a type of color pigment created by plants, act as antioxidants, which means they can help neutralize free radicals that damage your body’s cells [2].Resveratrol can also be found in peanuts, soy, various berries, Itadori tea (made from Japanese Knotweed) and is particularly abundant in red wine. How was Resveratrol Discovered?Resveratrol was first isolated in 1939 by Takaoka from Veratrum grandiflorum O. Loes.Since its discovery and almost 60 years later, the small polyphenol has undergone huge scientific interest, especially due to the work of Dr David Sinclair, a Harvard Scientist focused on anti aging technologies.Appearing in over 20,000 research papers, Resveratrol has inspired conferences, chemical derivatives, patents and more.Resveratrol has been used traditionally to help treat inflammation of the skin, UTI’s, stomach aches and fungal infections.Resveratrol is believed to have various potential health benefits, some of which are:
Improved heart health by lowering LDL (bad) cholesterol [3]
Lowering blood pressure [4] and so supporting the vascular system
Antioxidant properties [5]
Anti-inflammatory properties [6]
People mainly use Resveratrol for: Improved Heart HealthLowering bad cholesterol (LDL) levels that are too high helps lessen the chance of developing heart problems.A study on mice suggested that resveratrol reduced diet induced LDL cholesterol levels and slowed the rate of atherosclerosis progression [7].Because of resveratrol’s antioxidant properties, it may help to lower blood pressure.A review found that resveratrol may help to lower blood pressure, which in turn reduces the pressure on artery walls when the heart beats [8].Anti-Aging PropertiesMany studies have been conducted on Resveratrol and its anti-aging effects, including by top researchers in Harvard. The main 2 ways that Resveratrol helps with the aging process, is through reducing oxidative stress [9] and increasing the length of telomeres [10].In short, telomeres are segments of DNA that can be found at the ends of chromosomes. As we age, the length of our telomeres shorten. Progressive telomere shortening leads to apoptosis (programmed cell death), senescence (loss of a cell’s power of division and growth) and the oncogenic transformation of somatic cells (genetic and epigenetic alterations that affect survival and cell proliferation) [11].These three things have been associated with shorter telomeres and affect the health and lifespan of a person. They also increase the incidence of disease and lower survival time.A study on mice showed the positive effects of Resveratrol on aging, and how it dramatically improved telomerase activity, telomere length, the quality and number of oocytes, and age-related gene expression in the ovaries of mice [12].Why Try Feel Younger® Resveratrol 600mg Telomere Support? Our Resveratrol Telomere Support is high quality, high purity, gluten free, all natural, sugar free, vegan and vegetarian friendly, hormone free, lactose free and contains no nasty fillers or binders. We’ve taken the stress out of powder form supplements by producing our resveratrol into easy to swallow capsules. How do you take Feel Younger® Resveratrol 600mg?Take one capsule twice a day, preferably 20-30 minutes before a meal.Any cautions?Resveratrol has been shown to stop blood clotting in test tubes, so do not take in conjunction with anti blood clotting medications.Because resveratrol can potentially lower blood pressure, do not take alongside other blood pressure lowering medications.ALWAYS consult a healthcare professional before taking any new supplements.

Why is it important to support your brain? The brain is arguably the most important organ in your body - without it, we wouldn’t be able to carry out any of our daily functions. The brain controls our motor skills, vision, temperature, hunger, emotions, touch, thought and just about every process that helps to maintain and regulate our bodies [1].There are a variety of factors that can lead to your brain ageing prematurely, or becoming ‘unhealthy’, such as:
Lack of good quality sleep [2]
Poor diet & overeating [3]
Not enough exercise [4]
Smoking [5]
Obesity [6]
High blood pressure [7]
High cholesterol levels [8]
Social isolation [9]
Spending too much time in dimly lit environments [10]
Often overlooked, Deficiency or suboptimal levels of nutrients that are important to the brain will also contribute to inferior brain health.
Can you test for an ‘unhealthy’ brain? There are a variety of tests that can be used in different situations to help determine if something serious is going on with your brain. Some of these include:Balance testCT scan (computed tomography)EEG (electroencephalography)ElectromyographyMRI (magnetic resonance imaging)MRA (magnetic resonance angiography - a type of MRI scan)And more. However, as these tests are generally expensive and hard to get, most people rely on evaluating symptoms such as decreased memory, focus and clarity of thinking.Speak to your physician to determine the best course of action if you have any concerns. The Top 9 Ways to Support Your Brain:To keep your brain functioning at optimal capacity, there are some lifestyle changes that you can make:
Get enough good quality sleep, every night. For most adults, this is 7-8 hours of deep uninterrupted sleep. If sleep is something you struggle with, check out our Sleep Aid Ultra page.
Eat an organic diet with plenty of high nutrient density foods. This will provide your brain with most of the nutrients and minerals it needs for optimal function.
Exercise regularly. Half an hour of physical activity most days, or around 150 minutes a week.
Stop smoking.
Maintain a healthy weight, and don’t overeat. Even too much healthy food can lead to weight gain.
Minimize stress and lower your blood pressure. Meditating is a great way to reduce stress, and try natural supplements, such as our 5 HTP, Serenity Anti-Stress Support, Saffron Pure Extract OR Organic Ashwagandha with Black Pepper.
Socialize more often.
Spend more time in natural light and brighter lit rooms earlier in the day.
Provide your brain with minerals and vitamins that are essential for it to function optimally:
Vitamin A - Vitamin A is crucial to brain function, behavior and learning [11].Vitamin C - Your brain requires huge amounts of oxygen to function, which means it is extremely susceptible to oxidative stress. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant and helps to reduce oxidative stress [12].Calcium - Calcium is essential for optimal blood flow to the brain [13].Vitamin D - Essential for brain health, deficiency in Vitamin D can contribute to brain fog, low mood and can impact cognitive health [14].Magnesium - Optimal levels of magnesium in the body is crucial for brain health. Deficiency of magnesium (or low levels of) is commonly found in people who are stressed [15].Vitamin B1 - A deficiency of thiamine (vitamin B1) can contribute to increased confusion, can be of detriment to your ability to think clearly as well as reducing your awareness of your surroundings [16].Vitamin B2 - Riboflavin vitamin b2) can help to reduce inflammation and oxidative stress to nerves in the brain, both of which can contribute to headaches and migraines [17].Vitamin B3 - Niacin (vitamin B3) is another B vitamin that plays an important role in the health of your brain. It’s involved in making and repairing DNA, cell signaling and acts as an antioxidant [18].Folate - Suboptimal mental function can be linked to low folic acid (folate) levels in the blood.A randomized controlled trial over 2 years showed that 400mg folic acid supplementation improved measures of brain function and decreased blood levels of proteins that are linked to Alzheimer’s disease [19].Selenium - Selenium is a powerful antioxidant [20], and people with Alzheimer’s have been found to have lower levels of selenium in their blood [21].Copper - Essential for brain function, too much or too little copper in the body can be linked with neurodegeneration [22].Manganese - Manganese is required for many functions in the body, which includes normal brain and nervous system function. It’s another powerful antioxidant (potentially one of the most important) [23] that can help to protect your brain against free radicals, as well as improving your brain function [24].Potassium - Potassium plays an important role in the cardiovascular system, helping to get blood to the brain [25].Choline - Choline is needed to produce a neurotransmitter called acetylcholine, which is crucial to regulate intelligence, mood and memory [26].Grape Seed Extract - Grapes contain flavonoids, which possess powerful antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. Studies have shown that grape seed extract may help to improve cognitive status and antioxidant levels in the brain, while preventing memory loss [27].GABA - GABA (gamma aminobutyric acid) is an amino acid that functions as a neurotransmitter in the brain. Why Choose Longevity Essentials?
We're a family-run business and nearly every product on our site has passed through our own hands… and into our own bodies. If it’s not good enough for our family, it never makes it to yours.
You can count on us for trusted ingredients, dependable service, and a genuine commitment to your peace of mind. Your health truly matters to us — every step of the way.
Since 2002 Longevity Essentials have been supplying some of the best health and wellness products throughout the UK and Europe.
The story is simple. The founder Mike Nash has always been passionate about health, especially the basics, and his popular book Aggressive Health turned people on to many diverse ways of moving the needle of health, before the term biohacking became popular.
With good health comes longevity and we believe that everything you'll find at longevity essentials will support your quest.
I've been using CREON for nearly four years but it's currently unavailable in the UK. My Doctor can't even prescribe an alternative as these are also out of stock. I was sent a link for the Grassfed Beef Pancreas & I can confirm it's doing a wonderful job! Thank God for this company!! It has allayed my anxiety & I shall be buying it moving forward. I HIGHLY recommend & give 5*.
Ok I love colostrum and the immune tree are brilliant for me ! I spend an awful lot on supplements but I always have my immune tree colostrum and it definitely improves my immune system , I suffer from Addison's ( major and total adrenal insufficiency) I don't produce any of my own cortisol and it's exhausting even with replacing with hydrocortisone as it's a fixed dose three times daily and not my body regulating the dose. However since I began to take colostrum every day I have indeed noticed some increase in stamina and definitely improved immunity. I'd highly recommend this colostrum to any one and everyone wanting that extra boost for the immune system.

Dragon Herbs Young Lungs 100 capsules 500mg each
Take the mucus-melting, phlegm-expelling properties of Free The Lungs, combine with the cough-disappearing effect of Golden Air, add the ability to breathe deeper, and I still would not have encapsulated all the benefits that Young Lungs seems to provide. This formula has blown me away. For total respiratory health, this is THE product.
