Do you suffer from any of the following issues? High cholesterol High blood pressure Joint pain Rheumatoid arthritis Skin disorders (e.g. psoriasis, dermatitis) Obesity AMD (age-related macular degeneration) Heart disease Depression Liver disease Osteoporosis Chronic inflammation ADHD Struggles to concentrate Asthma If so, then Krill Oil Omega-3 could be one of the essential supplements to improve your overall health. How can Krill Oil Omega-3 help you with this? The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends every person consume around two portions of fish each week, as the omega-3s found in fish and other sea creatures are a key ingredient in living a healthy, balanced lifestyle. If you’re vegetarian, vegan, or simply don’t eat seafood, then you should receive your weekly intake of omega-3 through a natural supplement. The omega-3 nutrients found in marine life are an important source of energy and have been scientifically proven to support your immune system. These nutrients are present in every cell wall in the body, and therefore play an important role in building and maintaining your natural defense systems. One of the key health benefits of Krill Oil Omega-3 is that it reduces inflammation. Inflammation is our natural response to fighting infections and healing injuries. However, chronic inflammation is associated with numerous health disorders, including asthma, obesity, depression, and heart disease. By reducing inflammation, we can alleviate symptoms of these diseases.    Krill Oil Omega-3 has also been known to improve risk factors surrounding heart disease. Several decades ago, researchers noticed that fish-eating communities had unusually low rates of heart diseases and strokes. Since then, omega-3 fatty acids have been linked to numerous benefits for heart health, such as reducing triglycerides, lowering blood pressure, raising "good" HDL cholesterol levels, and clearing plaque from the walls of your arteries. What are other benefits of Krill Oil Omega-3?Krill Oil Omega-3 can be considered one of the fundamental supplements, in that it can be used to manage a wide range of health conditions. Some additional proven health benefits of krill oil include: Improve eyesight Improve brain health Skin health Reduce symptoms of ADHD Stronger immune system Emotional and mental wellbeing Lower levels of liver fat Alleviate menstrual pain What is Krill Oil Omega-3?Omega-3 fish oils are an effective health supplement containing the natural fats extracted from fish tissue. It is typically taken from oily fish such as tuna, anchovies, herring and mackerel. However, it’s also sometimes produced from the livers of other fish — for example, cod liver oil.Over the past years, Krill Oil has rapidly gained popularity as an alternative to fish oil. It is made from krill, a small crustacean consumed by whales, penguins and other sea animals. Similar to fish oil, Krill Oil Omega-3 is a strong source of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and astaxanthin, natural omega-3 fats only found in marine life. Many consider Krill Oil superior to Fish Oil because it contains astaxanthin. In addition to being a powerful antioxidant, astaxanthin is also a natural preservative. This prevents the omega-3 fish oil from turning rancid, which is a common problem with other fish oils. How is our Krill Oil Omega-3 supplement better than others you may have tried?Omega-3 is a popular health supplement on the market, but certain manufacturers do not adhere to the same high standards of quality as Feel Younger. There are several reasons why our Krill Oil Omega-3 supplements are superior to similar products. To begin with, our supplement has a higher concentration of the active ingredients EPA and DHA. These two key nutrients present in fish and marine life oils play an essential role in improving your immune system and counteracting the effects of ageing. Although many Omega-3 supplements advertise 1000mg of fatty oils on the front of their containers, if you look at the list of ingredients on the back, you’ll notice they often contain as little as 320mg of EPA and DHA. On the other hand, Feel Younger’s Krill Oil Omega-3 supplements have a 500mg portion of EPA and DHA, promising you the healthy, recommended intake of these two nutrients. Our Krill Oil Omega-3 supplements also contain another key nutrient: astaxanthin. Studies have shown that astaxanthin activates the white blood cells in your body, improving your immune system. It has also been known to help protect your skin from UV damage.Feel Younger’s Krill Oil Omega-3 supplements also come in softgel capsules. As a result, they're easily absorbed into the body and don’t have the unpleasant fishy taste of similar supplements. As is the case with all our dietary supplements, the Feel Younger krill oil capsules are gluten-free and made from all natural ingredients. How do you take Krill Oil Omega-3?As a dietary supplement, it’s recommended you take one (1) softgel capsule twice a day. For the best results, take your dose 20-30 minutes before a meal with an 8oz. glass of water or as directed by your healthcare professional. Are there any cautions?Though omega-3 supplements are generally considered safe, you should check with a healthcare professional before taking them. If you are allergic to fish or shellfish, seek advice from your healthcare professional first.Fish oil is likely safe for most people in doses of 5 grams or less dailyFish oil might slow blood clotting. Taking fish oil along with medications that also slow blood clotting might increase the risk of bruising and bleeding.Pregnant or nursing mothers, children under 18, and individuals with a known medical condition should also consult a physician before using this or any dietary supplement. Would you like… Shinier, Thicker, and Stronger Hair More easily Combable Hair More Elastic, Smoother, and Softer Feeling Skin Stronger and Less Brittle Nails Less Flaky Skin Reduced Acne Increased Confidence If so, you may want to give our Hair Skin and Nails Vitality Formula a try!Plus, as a Bonus, the combination of ingredients (listed further down this page) may also give you other benefits such as: Healthier Bones Reduced Anxiety & Improved Mood Increased Metabolism & Better Energy Levels Immune System Support Anti-Inflammatory Support Reduced Oxidative Stress Improved Eye Health A Healthier Heart Why is it important to support your Hair, Skin and Nails? It’s incredibly important to keep the condition of your hair, skin and nails in good health for a variety of reasons, other than the most obvious: because healthy skin hair and nails makes you look a lot better! For instance, did you know that having healthy hair can be a good overall indicator of your general health. When your hair is vibrant and healthy, it’s a good sign that you have enough nutrients in your body for the many processes that happen within you to work optimally. When you have healthy hair that is shiny, smooth, has good elasticity, hardly sheds and detangles easily - you will be more confident, which will help you to live a more fulfilling life. Our skin is the largest organ of our body and protects us in many ways: Forms a barrier and protects our nerves, blood vessels, muscles and bones, as well as everything else inside our body, preventing bacteria and other foreign objects from getting inside Nerves on the skin are the reason we can feel. Without nerves, we would not know what is dangerous to our bodies and life (pain). Extreme temperatures are damaging to our bodies, and nerves help us to know what is too hot, or too cold and our skin helps regulate body temperature by sweating when we are too hot, and keeps valuable warmth in when it’s cold. Our skin protects us from ultraviolet light that damages cells. Vitamin D is produced by healthy skin when directly exposed to the sun. Vitamin D is crucial for many bodily functions, such as regulating levels of phosphate and calcium in our body (that are crucial for healthy bones, muscles and teeth), as well as facilitating normal immune function. Our nails are also crucial to overall health and wellbeing. We use our hands every day and the nails act as a hard outer covering which enables us to grip things tighter, scratch itches, pick bugs off us, perform tasks that require digging and provide an additional barrier for entry to bacteria that is dangerous to our bodies. The cuticle (area of skin above the bottom of your nail) also acts as a barrier for where the nail meets your fingers or toes, again - to stop dangerous bacteria entering our body. Not only is this layer of protection vital for our bodies - healthy nails also boost your confidence.Poor nail health can also be a reflection of your overall health. Nails are made from keratin (the same as skin) and if your body is not able to produce healthy skin cells (hormonal imbalances or vitamin deficiencies) the first sign is usually in your nails. What Causes Unhealthy Hair, Skin & Nails? There are a variety of different factors that can contribute to poor hair, skin and nail health, such as: Poor Diet. For healthy hair and skin, you need a variety of nutrients [1], vitamins and minerals… and for nails, especially Zinc. Stress. Many studies have been conducted on how stress affects hair growth and loss [2]. Stress can also adversely affect your skin (acne outbreaks and increased severity) as well as causing pitting, ridging and shredding of your nails. Dryness. Too much heat or sub-optimal weather conditions such as low humidity and dry/hot weather can cause your hair to damage and break. This is especially more common today (especially in women), because of products that use heat to style hair (straighteners, curlers etc.). This extreme heat causes damage to the cuticles and causes hair damage and breakage.   Overexposure to moisture. Washing your hair strips your scalp of the natural oil (sebum) that keeps your scalp and hair healthy, moisturized and protects from oxidative damage from the elements.Too many long, hot showers can also dry your skin out and frequent contact with moisture or chemicals, such as cleaning products, washing up liquid or nail polish and remover. Smoking. Cigarette smoking and the causative effects it has on our hair skin and nails has been studied heavily. Smoking affects several biophysical characteristics of the skin [3]. Rubbing your hair with a towel. There’s a natural tendency to rub your hair when it’s wet - however, this is when your hair and scalp are in their most vulnerable state. Excessive brushing and combing. There’s a common myth that 100 strokes with a brush a day is essential for hair health… however - this is not the case. Excessive brushing and combing can lead to further hair loss [4] An underactive thyroid. The thyroid plays a part in many bodily functions, and hair growth is one of them. Repeatedly pressing too firmly with your nails. This can cause the ends of your nails to become damaged, and can even cause the nail to come off. Underlying conditions. Your nails can be the first to experience symptoms if there is something else going on in your body. How can you tell if your Hair, Skin and Nails are healthy, or if they need some support?Healthy hair should be smooth and shiny in appearance with good elasticity, doesn’t shed many strands and has minimum breakage, easily detangles and doesn’t frizz much in humid conditions.Healthy skin doesn’t feel dry after washing, feels and stays hydrated/moisturized, is flake free and doesn’t get sun spots.Healthy nails are smooth without pits or grooves, are a healthy pink color (not yellow, black etc.) and have no white spots, clubbing, mees’ lines or dark bands below the tips. How to improve your hair, skin & nailsThere are many things you can change in your lifestyle that can improve the health of your hair, skin and nails. Eat an organic diet, with lots of nutrient dense foods   Improve your mental state and reduce stress. Meditation is a great way to do this [5], as well as taking natural supplements that can help increase your mood, such as our 5 HTP, Serenity Anti-Stress Support, Saffron Pure Extract OR Organic Ashwagandha with Black Pepper Stop smoking Arrange a thyroid test For hair - limit use of straighteners, and other heat induced devices, don’t wash too regularly, brush too often, tie back too tight or rub your hair with a towel to dry it. Get a haircut at least 3-4 times a year. For skin - shower or bathe once a day and always wash after exercise. Don’t use tanning beds or fake tan products. For nails - wear gloves when washing the dishes or handling chemicals and don’t use your nails for tasks that require pressure. We appreciate that making all of these lifestyle changes can be challenging, and it’s always best to make a couple of changes at a time and take a step-by-step process to leading a healthier lifestyle to benefit your hair, skin and nails.Listed below are vitamins and minerals that can help you achieve your goal of healthy hair, skin and nails:Vitamin A - Vitamin A is essential for cell growth, and can help to maintain surface tissues (such as skin) [6].It is a powerful antioxidant and helps to protect your body from free radicals that create oxidative stress [7].Vitamin C - Vitamin C can’t be produced by the body, yet it has been linked to many impressive health benefits. It plays a key role in connective tissue healing, and is vital in the production of collagen [8].Collagen is a protein that helps give integrity, strength and shape to many tissues such as fingernails, hair and teeth [9].Vitamin c deficiency can cause brittle nails and slowed nail growth [10] and its antioxidant properties means it aids in UV radiation protection [11].Calcium - Calcium deficiency can slow nail growth, and the first signs of a deficiency may be shown in the nails [12].Iron - Iron aids in the production of hemoglobin (a type of protein found in red blood cells). Hemoglobin carries oxygen to cells and helps them to repair and grow, including cells that help your hair grow [13].This means that iron also plays a crucial role in skin healing and repair [14], and helps to minimize the appearance of bruises [15].Vitamin D3 - Keratinocytes are cells in the skin that process keratin, which is a protein found in hair, skin and nails - metabolize vitamin D [16]When there’s a deficiency of Vitamin D in your body, hair follicles can’t regulate hair growth and shedding efficiently.Vitamin D has been shown to potentially improve mood and sleep, which will lower stress. Stress can be linked to hair loss, so good levels of vitamin D are essential [17].Vitamin E - Vitamin E is another powerful antioxidant that can help reduce free radicals and oxidative stress (which has been linked to hair loss). A lot of hair products use vitamin E because it can make hair younger looking and more manageable.A study on people struggling with hair loss supplemented with vitamin E and showed improved hair growth [18].Vitamin B1 - Vitamin B1 (thiamine) is essential for cellular functions, production of energy and works as an antioxidant. It has been shown in studies to help reduce oxidative stress [19]. This means that it can help protect the scalp, hair and nails from UV radiation.Vitamin B6 - Vitamin B6 is needed to create neurotransmitters that regulate emotions, such as dopamine and serotonin [20]. Therefore, it can help improve your mood and lower stress levels, which in turn can reduce hair loss.Folate - Folate or Folic acid is mainly responsible for the healthy growth of cells found in your skin tissues (including hair and nails).Vitamin B12 - Vitamin B12 also plays a role in cell production, and adequate levels promote healthy hair, skin and nails. Vitamin B12 deficiency can also cause a variety of problems, such as nail discoloration [21].Biotin - Your body needs Biotin to produce keratin (a protein that makes up your hair, skin and nails) [22]. Deficiency can cause brittle nails and uncombable hair.Vitamin B5 - Vitamin B5, or pantothenic acid plays a key role in helping our bodies to maintain good health. It is well known for its role in maintaining good health of skin, hair and eyes [23].Magnesium - Magnesium is involved in protein synthesis in your body, which is required for nail growth [24].Zinc - Zinc is responsible for many reactions in the body, such as the division and growth of cells.Because nails are of keratin (a type of cell that divides and grows quickly), zinc is needed to promote the healthy growth of nails [25].Manganese - Manganese is responsible for producing proline (an amino acid) which is needed to form collagen, which helps with wound healing in skin cells [26].Potassium - Potassium improves cell renewal in your scalp by stimulating dormant hair follicles [27].Horse Tail Extract - Horsetail contains many compounds that can be beneficial to health, including antioxidants and silica [28].Silica (made from oxygen and silicon) is the compound that is believed to be beneficial for your hair, skin and nails [29].Bamboo Extract - Another herb that contains silica, bamboo also possesses many qualities that can be beneficial to overall health [30].Introducing Feel Younger® Hair Skin and Nails Vitality FormulaBy combining the ingredients listed above in an easy to swallow capsule - we’ve taken the stress out of buying each of these ingredients separately, researching and experimenting how much of each you should take and then incorporating them into your diet/supplement regime. Here at Feel younger, we believe in providing strong doses at reasonable prices. Feel Younger Feel Younger - Colon Sweep Intestinal Cleansing Formula 60caps
£29.00
Would you like… To Cleanse and Detox Your Colon and Intestines Improved Digestive Health Improved Gut Health More Regular Bowel Movements and Constipation Relief Reduced Symptoms and Occurrence of Diarrhea and Loose Stools Reduced Severity of Bloating, Abdominal Pain and Gas If so, you may want to give our Colon Sweep: Intestinal Cleansing Formula a try! This product can potentially give you a whole host of other benefits, such as: Improved Skin Health Heartburn Relief Stronger Bones Blood Pressure Regulation Blood Sugar Regulation Aiding Healthy Weight Loss Boosted Immune System Lower Cholesterol Why is it Important to Cleanse Your Intestines?Your colon is the biggest part of your intestines, also called the large intestine. It is a tube that is connected to the anus at one end, and the small intestine at the other. The colon's job is to remove nutrients, electrolytes and water from partly digested food, and to send whatever waste is left (stool) to the rectum, where it eventually leaves the body through the anus. The cleansing of your colon is nothing new, in fact it’s based on the ancient theory Autointoxication that believes excess waste in the body can contribute to disease through “poisoning” [1].Because your intestines twist and turn, this can cause fecal matter to become trapped. Furthermore, abnormal stool consistency can have the same effect.Stools are waste (around 75% water) containing many things that the body cannot deal with and wants to get rid of, such as excess nutrients, undigested food, bacteria and more. The theory of autointoxication believes that foods and undigested meat can cause an excess of mucus to build up in the colon, which produces toxins that will eventually enter the bloodstream and thus will poison the body.Whether you believe the theory or not, the point still remains that excess fecal matter that is stuck to the colon walls cannot be a good thing. Think about your arteries - if they clog, it makes it harder for the blood to pass through, raising your blood pressure. This “clogging” of the colon can cause bloating, decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, abdominal pain and swelling, irregular bowel movements, interruption to your sleep and more!Plus, although most people focus on colon cleansing, which has caused us to name the product after this, the latest research indicates it’s the small intestines that may benefit from cleansing most. The small intestine is 30 feet long with around 150 bends, so it makes sense that it could very easily get partially obstructed, and this could in turn cause a whole host of problems, including the contents rotting, which would make bacteria and other organisms proliferate (this is not good in the small intestine) and potentially leading to inflammation and intestinal permeability (leaky gut) where unprocessed pieces of food leak into the bloodstream, causing an immune response. What Causes Waste Matter to Get Stuck in the Intestines? In a healthy body, peristalsis, the process whereby the intestines move its contents through, and out, occurs at an appropriate pace.If it happens too quickly, this can lead to diarrhea, and subsequent discomfort and nutrient loss.Less embarrassing, but more problematic long term, is where the intestinal contents move through too slowly, due to a deficiency in peristalsis,There are many reasons for buildup of waste in the intestines, such as: poor diet, including overeating, eating too frequently, and eating excessive processed foods. Not drinking enough fluids Lack of exercise Ignoring bowel movements Conditions such as hemorrhoids that cause pain and make the person not want to go… resulting in constipation Overuse of laxatives Bile duct obstruction/improper liver function Lack of nutrients essential to maintain healthy peristalsis, for example Magnesium Can You Test For Stuck Waste Matter in Your Colon and Small Intestine?A procedure called a Colonoscopy can be administered to look inside your colon. This test involves a flexible tube with a tiny camera attached to the top that is inserted into your rectum. This test will allow the doctors to check for any changes or abnormalities inside the colon. This test involves taking a powerful laxative before the camera is inserted. The fact that, when the camera is inserted, the colon is usually relatively empty has caused mainstream medicine to be skeptical of the validity of Colon Cleanses. However, for millennia people have been practicing these cleanses, especially recently, seeing a lot of extra waste matter come out, even whilst doing extensive fasting, and getting all kinds of health benefits from the practice. How do we reconcile the two? Our conclusion here at Feel Younger is that, while a Colon Cleanse will clear out the colon for some significant benefit, the main benefit is probably in clearing blocked waste out of the small intestine too. It’s extremely difficult to test this theory as the small intestine is very difficult to access, but a stool DNA test can give a reasonable idea of how healthy the full intestinal tract is. The Top 6 Ways to Reduce the Chances of Waste Matter Building Up in Your Colon and Small Intestine:Here’s 6 lifestyle tips you can apply to help get your peristalsis working in a more optimal way, keeping your intestines clear and healthy: Eat a nutrient dense organic diet, with a good variety of nutrient dense foods. Foods containing high levels of Magnesium and Potassium are especially important, as is Choline to keep the bile flowing, which stimulates peristalsis. [2] Drink plenty of water. At least 2 liters a day should help to soften your stools and keep them moving [3] Get a colonic. Colonics can be a great way to help flush out the intestines and get rid of any fecal matter that has built up on the intestinal walls. It’s then theorized that this also then gets the small intestine to release more waste into the colon, once it’s been emptied, which clears away any intestinal backlog which may be present.   Exercise regularly. Around 150 minutes a week is recommended and exercise has been shown to increase the speed at which your stool passes through you [4]. Don’t ignore bowel movements. Never purposely ignore a bowel movement if you can help it, because it can lead to fecal retention and constipation [5]. Give your body the nutrients it needs to help cleanse your colon: Bentonite Clay. On mice fed a high fat diet, bentonite has a prebiotic effect on the intestinal microbiota [6]. Bentonite is famously used for its ability to soak up, like a sponge, a wide variety of toxic materials, to prevent them being absorbed back into the bloodstream.Psyllium. Is known as a bulking agent. Once Bentonite Clay has soaked up the toxic waste, Psyllium is used, like a brush, to move through, and out, the waste that may be trapped in the intestines. Psyllium is also a prebiotic (compounds that help the growth of good bacteria in the gut).Rhubarb. Rich in fiber that can help to prevent constipation [7] by stimulating bile flow and thereby peristalsis.Lactobacillus Acidophilus. Known as L. Acidophilus is a probiotic that helps to reduce diarrhea [8] and maintain a healthy Microbiome by supporting good bacteria and reducing bad bacteria.Oat Straw. Contains many antioxidants which can help to reduce inflammation in the intestines [9].Alfalfa. Can help to reduce oxidative stress [10] and inflammation due to its antioxidant properties. We understand that it’s not always easy, nor practical to implement a variety of lifestyle changes - especially all at once. We’d advise that you make as many of the changes listed further up this page as possible, but to do so 1 or 2 at a time, make sure they stick and then move onto more.In the meantime, you can support your body with the essential nutrients and minerals it needs that can help support your colon. That’s why we’ve included the above ingredients in our Colon Sweep Formula, along with Gentian, Aloe Vera, Cascara Sagrada, Goldenseal and Buckthorn.By combining these ingredients into an easy to swallow capsule, we’ve taken the stress out of buying each of these ingredients separately, researching and experimenting how much of each you should take and then incorporating them into your diet/supplement regime. Here at Feel younger, we believe in providing strong doses at reasonable prices. Our Colon Sweep: Intestinal Cleansing Formula capsules provide a 1,400 mg daily dose, and will cost you no more than $29, with discounts available on multiple bottle and subscription purchases. How Do You Take Feel Younger® Colon Sweep: Intestinal Cleansing Formula?Take 2 capsules in the morning with your first meal.Monitor how you feel. If the first dose is well tolerated, take two capsules with your first meal and 2 capsules with your last meal.Do this daily until the capsules are gone.Any Cautions? In rare cases, stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, skin rash, reduced liver function,Pregnant people should avoid this product because of its alfalfa & oat straw content.Do not take this product if you have IBS or ulcers, intestinal blockages, kidney problems, appendicitis or stomach pain (with unknown cause) because of its cascara sagrada content.Do not continue taking if the first dose is not well tolerated.ALWAYS consult a healthcare professional before taking any new supplements. Feel Younger Feel Younger - Chlorella 500mg 60caps
£24.00
Would You Like: Detoxification Support Antioxidant Support Gastro-Intestinal Support Improved Immune System Enhanced Nutrition Enhanced Mood If so, you may want to give Chlorella a try! It has also been shown to: Improve Cholesterol Help Regulate Blood Pressure Enhance Aerobic Endurance Reduce Risk of Anemia During Pregnancy Help with Allergies Have Anti-Aging Properties Promote Eye Health Support Liver Health What is Chlorella and Where Does it Come From?Chlorella is a single celled, green freshwater algae [1]. Its impressive nutritional profile has led some to call it a “super food.” While its exact nutrient content depends on growing conditions, the species used and how supplements are processed, it’s clear it packs several beneficial nutrients, they include: Protein: Chlorella is 50–60% protein. It’s a complete protein source, meaning it contains all nine essential amino acids [2]. Vitamin B12: Some types of chlorella may also contain vitamin B12, but more studies are needed [3]. Iron and vitamin C: Chlorella can be a good source of iron. Depending on the supplement, it can provide anywhere from 6–40% of your daily needs. It’s also a terrific source of vitamin C, which helps you absorb iron [4]. Other antioxidants: These microscopic green cells provide a wide range of antioxidants [5]. Other vitamins and minerals: Chlorella provides small amounts of magnesium, zinc, copper, potassium, calcium, folic acid and other B vitamins [6]. Omega-3s: As with other algae, chlorella contains some omega-3s. Just 3 grams of chlorella contains 100 mg of omega-3s [7]. Fiber: In large quantities, chlorella can be a great source of fiber, although most supplements won’t provide even 1 gram of fiber per dose [8]. Because chlorella has a hard cell wall that humans cannot digest, you must take it as a supplement to reap its benefits (broken wall) [9].Chlorella is also high in chlorophyll – a green pigment that plants use to make energy from sunlight and helps rid the body of toxins. The majority of Chlorella that is available in the U.S is grown in Japan or Taiwan.Theoretically, Chlorella simply needs sunlight, freshwater and a few minerals to grow, and therefore is available worldwide - usually found next to lakes with freshwater.Traditional UseChlorella is sold extensively as a supplement or nutraceutical product [10] and is mainly used for nutrition and as medicine.Chlorella is being used all around the world, in countries such as Japan, the USA, Europe, and more. In East Asia, it is consumed with pancakes, tea and rice.It is believed to have many health benefits, such as reducing blood sugar and cholesterol, protecting the heart and liver, helping to prevent anemia, supports detoxing, helps combat oxidative stress, may improve mental health and enhance physical performance.Story of DiscoveryChlorella is believed to have been born around 2 billion years ago, and is thought to be the “source of life on earth”.Due to its microscopic size, it wasn’t discovered until the late 19th century. In 1890, A Dutch scientist called Beijerinck discovered a beautiful, small green plant that was just about visible under a microscope. The name given to this tiny green plant was “chlorella”, in which the Greek word “chloros” (meaning green) and the Latin word “ella” (meaning small) were combined.Interest in Chlorella production began in the 1960s, when a company in Japan started to culture it on a large scale. How does it work? Chlorella has been hailed for its ability to help the body “detox”. Animal studies have shown that it’s effective at helping to remove heavy metals and other harmful compounds from the body [11]. Chlorella contains several compounds that are considered antioxidants, including chlorophyll, vitamin C, beta-carotene, lycopene and lutein [12]. Many sources claim chlorella eases digestion and reduces bloating. Chlorella has been found to enhance the immune response in both animal and human studies. In one study men produced more antibodies when taking chlorella than when they took a placebo [13]. Chlorella is packed with nutritional content such as protein, vitamin B12, iron, vitamin C, a wide range of antioxidants, small amounts of magnesium, copper, calcium, folic acid, zinc, potassium, other B vitamins, Omega 3 fatty acids and large quantities of fiber [14]. Chlorella contains the highest concentration in the world of the amino acid Tryptophan, which is the precursor to serotonin - a neurotransmitter that helps relax you, reduce anxiety and depression and improves your mood.   People use Chlorella for many things, such as: Help with Detoxing Small amounts of some heavy metals, such as iron and copper, are essential for the body to function properly - but they can be toxic in larger amounts. While it’s quite rare to have dangerous levels of these heavy metals in your body, exposure to heavy metals through pollution or certain jobs, such as mining, increase the risk of dangerously high levels building up in your system [15].Algaes such as chlorella, have been found to reduce the toxic effect of heavy metals in the liver, brain and kidneys in animals [16].Chlorella has also been shown to help lower the amount of other harmful chemicals that can sometimes be found in foods, such as dioxin, which is a hormone disruptor that can contaminate animals in the food supply. This evidence seems to suggest that chlorella may help enhance your body’s natural ability to clear toxins.Antioxidant SupportChlorella contains many compounds that are considered to be antioxidants, such as vitamin C, lycopene, lutein, chlorophyll, and beta-carotene,Some of these antioxidants seem to reduce the production of advanced glycation end products (AGEs), which drive many of the complications of diabetes [17].A human study showed chlorella supplements increased antioxidant levels in cigarette smokers, who are at a higher risk of oxidative damage [18].Increased Immune ResponseIn a trial of 51 healthy participants, Chlorella tablets enhanced immunity. They increased NK cell activity, IL-1beta, and the Th1 response in people who ingested these tablets for 8 weeks [19].Intense exercise can weaken the immune system. In a placebo-controlled study performed in 10 female athletes, 5 weeks of Chlorella supplementation prevented the decrease in immune function (measured by salivary immunoglobulin A) during a training camp [20].Another study of 15 men, revealed that salivary IgA was increased in participants when they ingested Chlorella tablets for 4 weeks [21].A study of 35 pregnant women showed increased IgA levels in the breast milk of women that consumed Chlorella for 6 months before giving birth. Higher levels of IgA in breast milk helps reduce the risk of infection in nursing infants [22].Chlorella protected mice from E. coli and Listeria monocytogenes infection in two animal trials [23].In mice, Chlorella counteracted the effect of a chemotherapeutic drug (Cyclophosphamide) that suppresses the immune system by recovering NK cell function and increasing Th1 cytokines (IL-2, IL-12, TNF-a, IFN-y) [24].Our Chlorella capsules are high quality, high purity, all natural, vegan and vegetarian friendly and do not contain any nasty fillers or binders. Here at Feel Younger we believe in providing high doses at reasonable prices. Our Chlorella capsules contain a 500mg dosage, and will cost no more than $24, with multiple bottle discounts and subscription savings available. How do you take it?Take one capsule twice a day, with water - preferably 20-30 minutes before a meal.Any cautions?Chlorella is generally recognized as safe by the FDA, but some people may experience side effects such as nausea and abdominal discomfort. ALWAYS consult a healthcare professional before taking any new supplements. Would you like: Help Regulating Blood Sugar Levels Improved Sensitivity to the Hormone Insulin Antioxidant Support Reduced Inflammation Supported Brain Function Help Losing Weight/Boosted Metabolism Improved Cardiovascular Health If so, you may want to try Ceylon Cinnamon. It has also been shown to: Help Fight Bacterial and Fungal Infections Improve Digestion Support Bone Health & Thyroid Function Due to it Being Rich in Manganese Help with Menstrual Cramps & Pains Preserve Oral Health What is Ceylon Cinnamon and Where Does it Come From?Cinnamon is a spice made from the inner bark of trees from the laurel family (Lauraceae - bushy evergreen trees) and is scientifically known as Cinnamomum. There are two main types of cinnamon that are widely available: Ceylon cinnamon: Cinnamomum verum, also known as “true” cinnamon. This type is more expensive and less toxic to the liver because it’s much lower in coumarin, a natural constituent that promotes blood thinning. Cassia cinnamon: Cinnamomum cassia. This type is more commonly available and is generally what you’ll find at a store or restaurant [1]. Because of the liver toxicity potential of the cheaper, cassia form of cinnamon, we personally would recommend only using Ceylon Cinnamon. The cinnamon in Feel Younger’s Cinnamon product is 100% Ceylon Cinnamon and 0% Cassia Cinnamon.Ceylon is native to Sri Lanka and southern parts of India. It’s tan-brown in color and contains many tight sticks with soft layers. These features provide a highly desirable quality and texture. It’s known to have a more delicate and mild sweet flavor in comparison to Cassia Cinnamon.Approximately 50–63% of its essential oil is cinnamaldehyde, which is quite low compared to cassia. This explains its milder aroma and flavor [2].Traditional UseCinnamon has been used as an ingredient throughout history [3], dating back as far as Ancient Egypt. It used to be rare and valuable and was regarded as a gift fit for kings. It was also recognised for its medicinal qualities [4], and was used to help with digestion issues [5], oral conditions, boost memory, purify blood, promote healing [6], help with colds, flu and sore throats, provide relief from menstrual cramps and discomfort.Cinnamon teas were also thought to be beneficial to oxidative stress related illnesses in humans, due to it being high in anti-oxidative qualities [7].How Does it work?Ceylon Cinnamon has many health benefits which have been studied in human and animal trials: In human trials, cinnamon can lower fasting blood sugar levels [8] Cinnamon reduces insulin resistance [9] which is one of the key hormones that regulate metabolism and energy use. Ceylon cinnamon increases levels of the master antioxidant, glutathione (in rats) [10]. Cinnamaldehyde/Cinnamon activates Nrf2, the most important pathway for increasing our natural and innate antioxidant defense [11]. Both the twigs and leaves of Cinnamon are highly anti-inflammatory [12]. Two compounds found in cinnamon appear to inhibit the buildup of a protein called tau in the brain, which is one of the hallmarks of Alzheimer’s disease [13]. Cinnamon may help reduce total cholesterol, LDL (bad) cholesterol, and triglycerides, while HDL (good) cholesterol remained stable [14]. A large study concluded that cinnamon can also help increase HDL cholesterol [15]. People Mainly Use Ceylon Cinnamon For It’s Antioxidant Qualities Antioxidants protect your body from oxidative damage caused by free radicals.Cinnamon is loaded with powerful antioxidants, such as polyphenols [16].In a study that compared the antioxidant activity of 26 spices, cinnamon wound up as the clear winner, even outranking “superfoods” like garlic and oregano [17].In fact, it is so powerful that cinnamon can be used as a natural food preservative [18].Studies show that this spice and its antioxidants have potent anti-inflammatory properties [19].Blood Sugar RegulationCinnamon is well known for its blood-sugar-lowering properties.Apart from the beneficial effects on insulin resistance, cinnamon can lower blood sugar by several other mechanisms.First, cinnamon has been shown to decrease the amount of glucose that enters your bloodstream after a meal.It does this by interfering with numerous digestive enzymes, which slows the breakdown of carbohydrates in your digestive tract [20].Second, a compound in cinnamon can act on cells by mimicking insulin [21].This greatly improves glucose uptake by your cells, though it acts much slower than insulin itself.Numerous human studies have confirmed the anti-diabetic effects of cinnamon, showing that it can lower fasting blood sugar levels. The effective dose is typically 1–6 grams or around 0.5–2 teaspoons of cinnamon per day.Brain Function Support & ProtectionCinnamon may help delay cognitive impairment. A study on rats found cinnamon to improve cognition and reduce oxidation in the brain [22].Cinnamon may help with food cravings. By targeting a chemical in the brain involved in glucose and cholesterol (insulin), eating cinnamon may help you lose weight through reduced food intake [23].Cinnamon can help boost memory [24].Cinnamon is a great source of manganese. Two teaspoons of cinnamon provides about half the RDA of manganese, a powerful antioxidant that is essential for brain and body health [25].One study used Cinnamon aromatherapy on Children with ADHD, and found that it increased their attention [26].Here at Feel Younger, we believe in providing strong doses at reasonable prices. Our Ceylon Cinnamon Capsules provide a 1200mg dose of some of the finest and purest Ceylon Cinnamon on the market. We’re proud to say that Our Ceylon Cinnamon is high quality, high purity, all natural, organic, non GMO, made in the USA and contains no nasty fillers or binders. Feel Younger Best Before November 2024 - Feel Younger - Magnesium Glycinate 425mg 60caps
£16.00 £19.00
What is Magnesium?Magnesium is an important mineral that’s crucially important for your body to function properly. It’s the fourth most abundant mineral found in your body[2] and it’s essential to all living cells and vital for myriad physiological functions[3].The reason why the benefits are so numerous and varied is because of the many ways that optimal levels of magnesium are necessary to function optimally. For instance, magnesium is required for the production of ATP (the main source of energy in our cells)[4], and the production of DNA, RNA, and proteins[5].Magnesium plays an important role in cell-to-cell communication[6].Over 300 enzymes (biological catalysts that make chemical processes happen in our body) require the presence of magnesium to function properly[7].Because of its positive charge, magnesium stabilizes the cellular membranes[8].How common is magnesium deficiency? While a deficiency severe enough to warrant medical attention is relatively rare, some health professionals believe that suboptimal levels of magnesium are relatively common, with estimates as high as 75% of people in the US not having a sufficient intake,[16] let alone an optimal intake, which has yet to be precisely defined. As with any essential nutrient, here at Feel Younger we believe that it’s always ideal to test your magnesium levels to be sure if it would be beneficial to take. The best tests for Magnesium are generally considered to be: RBC (red blood cell) or intracellular magnesium, to get a true understanding of overall deficiency. The more common tests are plasma or serum magnesium, which are much cheaper and easily available, but which are less of a true reflection of your body’s stores of magnesium, as your body will tend to keep your plasma and serum levels in a tight range in all but severe cases of deficiency.RBC (red blood cell) or intracellular magnesium tests, on the other hand, are considered to give a more accurate indication of true, overall levels of magnesium stores in the cells, which is what actually matters when assessing if levels are optimum. If you’re unable to access these tests however, then, given that Magnesium is a natural substance that is very safe for the vast majority of the population (see below for exceptions), it seems reasonable to try it, if you would like to support your body to Feeling Younger and Healthier, especially if you identify with some of the early signs of deficiency listed above. What causes Magnesium Deficiency? The most commonly understood causes of Magnesium Deficiency include[17]: a poor diet type 2 diabetes digestive problems such as Crohn’s disease long-term vomiting or diarrhoea kidney problems long-term use of diuretics some medicines (for example, fluid tablets and medicines for ulcers or reflux) can cause low magnesium levels if taken for long periods alcoholism In addition, some healthcare professionals point to the fact that, even in the case of a relatively good diet, it’s an established fact that the soil in which our food grows is 75%-90% lower in essential minerals like magnesium than it was 100 years ago.[18]So whether you’re eating plants, which can only get the minerals from the soil, or whether you’re eating animals that ate those plants, the results is the same: the food we’re eating is more mineral depleted, and therefore magnesium depleted, than it was up until relatively recently in our evolution. Finally, there is strong evidence that stress itself depletes magnesium[19]. This creates a vicious cycle where stress depletes magnesium, and then lowered magnesium reduces stress. Presumably, in order to break this cycle, you would need to replenish magnesium as well as reduce stress. What’s the Best Form of Magnesium to Take? There are many different forms of magnesium available, including citrate, sulfate, oxide, chloride and malate. However, the form that’s considered the best, the most easily absorbed by the body, is Magnesium Glycinate.Forms of magnesium that are less well absorbed and cheaper, like for instance magnesium oxide, have a laxative effect. As a general rule, the less well absorbed the form of magnesium is, the more of a laxative effect it’ll have. When consuming mineral supplements, the best form is generally considered to be when it’s chelated (chemically bonded) to an amino acid. Why is this? Because minerals in their raw form are inorganic, meaning that the body does not recognise them as food, often doesn’t absorb them well, and then also struggles to excrete them.Conversely, when a mineral is bonded to an amino acid, or chelated, this makes the mineral and Organic Mineral i.e. it’s the same form found in food, and so your body recognises the magnesium as food, and absorbs it a lot better.Magnesium Glycinate then, the type sold by Feel Younger, is considered the best form of magnesium because it’s bonded to Glycine, an abundant amino acid in the body which has a whole host of it’s own benefits[20], including: Glycine is one of the building blocks of the body’s most powerful natural antioxidant, glutathione Necessary to make collagen, for healthy skin Can improve sleep quality Can help keep blood sugar balanced May protect the liver and the heart Can protect against muscle loss. Although Glycine is not considered as an essential amino acid, because the body is capable of making its own, if necessary, many healthcare professionals consider it a good idea to increase glycine intake, either through natural foods like bone broth, or via supplementation.Feel Younger is proud to present our Magnesium Glycinate, containing 425mg of Elemental Magnesium per serving, which is close to the recommended daily amount for most people, enough to make up for the shortfall in almost any diet. How do you take Feel Younger ® Magnesium Glycinate?Ideally take with water directly before eating a meal, for maximum absorption, but can be taken any time, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Are there any cautions?Though magnesium supplements are generally considered safe, you should check with a healthcare professional before taking them, especially if you have a medical condition. The mineral supplement may be unsafe for people who take certain diuretics, heart medications, or antibiotics[21].Most people who take magnesium supplements don’t experience side effects, but magnesium can cause gut-related issues such as diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting, especially when used in large doses[22].It’s important to note that people with kidney issues are at a higher risk of experiencing adverse effects related to magnesium supplements[23].Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any changes to your diet or lifestyle. Feel Younger Best Before June 2024 - Feel Younger - CLA Safflower Oil 1000mg 60caps
£10.00 £19.00
Would you like: Help with Weight Loss Cholesterol Support Improved Heart Health Enhanced Mood If so, you may want to give CLA a try. What is CLA and where does it come from?CLA is short for Conjugated Linoleic Acid(s), which is, in essence, an omega-6 fatty acid, but a healthy one.CLA is a naturally occurring fatty acid that is produced by a bio-hydrogenation process in the rumen, and thus is present in dairy products and ruminant meat (9cis, 11 trans).28 different forms of CLA exist [1].The difference between these structures is that their double bonds are organized in different ways. It’s vital to keep in mind that something as small as this can make a massive difference to our cells.Traditional UseCLA supplements are most commonly sold because of their reputation for aiding weight loss [2].CLA is also sometimes used as a dietary supplement for bodybuilding.Story of DiscoveryIn 1987, researchers at the University of Wisconsin in Madison first discovered CLA.Dr. Pariza first noted an extract in beef, back in 1978, that appeared to be an anticarcinogenic, but it wasn’t until 1987 that he identified this extract to be CLA.Since the discovery, a surge of scientific studies and research have been conducted on how CLA affects body mass and other potential benefits it may have on human health. In the past, people received healthy doses of CLA through their diet, by consuming beef and dietary fats. However, the way cattle are raised has changed… and it is this change, as well as the change in people's diets today, that has lowered the amount of CLA people are able to ingest. The majority of cattle no longer graze in pastures on natural grass and other foods. Instead, they are fed meat products and processed grains. This has resulted in a decrease in cattle's internal production of CLA, meaning less conjugated linoleic acid is consumed from eating meat and dairy products.Furthermore, most people that worry about cholesterol and fat intake adjust their diets to eat less red meat and dairy products, which in turn reduces the amount of CLA in their diet.Fortunately, scientists have developed a process to convert the linoleic acid of pure safflower oil into conjugated linoleic acid. How does it work?CLA works in the following ways: Boosts metabolism, thus aiding obesity & weight management by reducing body weight, reducing BMI, total fat mass, fat percentage and fat burned while sleeping [3]. CLA can improve blood pressure by increasing adiponectin and endothelial nitric oxide synthase activity [4]. Helps to reduce bad cholesterol (HDL-cholesterol), without impacting and raises good cholesterol levels (LDL-cholesterol). Can help improve heart health by increasing the amount of C-reactive protein (CRP) in the blood, which is a marker for inflammation. People mainly use CLA to: Aid Weight Loss A study done on overweight Chinese subjects found that CLA supplementation (twice daily dissolved in milk) helped with weight loss over a 12-week period [5].The supplementation was found to reduce body weight, reduce BMI, reduce total fat mass, and reduce fat percentage. The treatment also reduced waist to hip ratio and reduced subcutaneous fat mass.Studies have shown that CLAs decrease lipid storage by increasing the rate of fat breakdown in fat tissue [6].The fatty acids also increase fatty acid oxidation and reduce glucose uptake in cultured fat cells.Improve Heart Health & CholesterolIn a study of 80 obese and hypertensive people, CLA combined with ramipril reduced blood pressure more than ramipril alone [7].Another study found that high intakes of both cis-9, trans-11 and trans-10, cis-12 CLA raised the level of HDL cholesterol in healthy women.HDL cholesterol promotes low cholesterol levels and healthy heart function [8].High levels of glucose result in major heart damage and heart problems. A study in rat cells found that cells pre-treated with CLA and then exposed to high glucose levels had reduced heart damage and a decreased risk of heart problems, than cells not pre-treated in the same conditions [9].Our CLA from Safflower oil is all natural (unlike most that are chemically altered), sugar free, hormone free, lactose free and doesn’t contain any nasty binders. Here at Feel Younger, we believe in providing strong doses at reasonable prices. Our CLA from Safflower oil softgels provide a 1000mg dose per softgel, and will cost you no more than $19, with discounts available on subscriptions for multiple bottles. How do you take it?Take one softgel with food, twice a day.Taking with food will help the body better utilize the CLA.Any cautions?Possible side effects of taking CLA can be excessive flatulence, bloating, nausea and diarrhoea.CLA can increase insulin resistance.ALWAYS consult a healthcare professional before taking any new supplements. It was named tea tree because of the refreshingly spicy tea he made from the leaves of the melaleuca alternifolia tree. For centuries, tea tree oil has been used traditionally by the Australian Aboriginal people. They extracted the oil that spills out of the tea tree leaves when crushed, and would inhale the fumes to help treat colds or coughs, as well as applying it topically to the skin for a variety of different healing reasons such as cuts, scrapes and swelling. It was also used to help soothe and cure sore throats. In around 1770, Captain James Cook learned more about the tea tree from the Aboriginal people of Australia, who told him all about their healing uses for this magical oil.Cook returned and was eager to have western doctors confirm tea trees' multifaceted healing abilities. Once confirmed, tea tree oil’s use skyrocketed and became a popular choice all over the world as an antimicrobial agent.Since then, people throughout the world have used tea tree oil to help treat a variety of different ailments. Mainly it is used for its antimicrobial properties, as well as its ability to help treat minor cuts, scrapes or injuries. What can Tea Tree Oil be used for?Tea Tree Oil has many uses when applied topically: Contains terpinen-4-ol, amongst other compounds, which has been shown to be effective at killing types of fungi, viruses and bacteria [2], also making it an effective antiseptic for small cuts and grazes [3] Numerous studies have shown tea tree oil can be an alternative treatment for athlete's foot (tinea pedis) [4] Studies showed that adding tea tree oil to handwashes & hand sanitizers [5] made them more effective [6] A study on 27 people showed that topical application of tea tree oil reduced swelling significantly [7]. It also reduced inflammation in mice [8] A study on patients with acne, saw that a 5% tea tree oil solution saw an improvement in their acne, along with lessened symptoms of itching, dryness and scaling [9]. When added to shampoo, tea tree oil can help to control dandruff by slowing down the growth of Candida albicans [10] Tea tree oil can help to trigger white blood cells that are needed to heal wounds, as well as reducing inflammation, resulting in boosted wound healing [11] Tea tree oil can also be used as a chemical free mouthwash and can combat germs that lead to bad breath and tooth decay [12] Antifungal, Antiviral & Anti-inflammatory PropertiesTea tree oil is most commonly used for a variety of different fungal infections, from fingernails to Athlete’s Foot.Athlete's foot is an extremely irritating fungal infection that mainly develops in between the toes and is highly contagious. It can also spread to other parts of the feet, as well as the hands. The infection causes severe itching and redness, and can even cause peeling, cracking and blistering of the skin.Studies have shown that tea tree oil can be effective at helping to relieve symptoms of athlete’s foot because of its powerful antifungal properties [13].A review on the oil’s ability to kill fungi and yeasts highlighted it as being effective [14].Why Try Feel Younger® Tea Tree Essential Oil 60ml?Here at Feel Younger, we believe in providing the best quality ingredients at reasonable prices… which is why Our Tea Tree Essential Oil is 100% pure and our 2 fl oz bottle will cost you no more than $13, with discounts available on subscriptions for multiple bottles. How do you use it?Tea Tree Oil is for external use only, and should not be ingested. Before you use tea tree oil, you should test how your skin reacts to it. Would you like to… Feel more Relaxed and at Ease Feel less Stress Have more Resilience to deal with Stressful Situations Calmly Reduce Anxiety and Worry Less Feel more Calm and Less Overwhelmed Improve Your Memory and Concentration Optimize your Levels of Serotonin, GABA and Cortisol Sleep Better at Night, Worry Free If so, you may want to give our Serenity Anti-Stress Support supplement a try!The ingredients in this product can potentially give you a whole host of other benefits, such as: Antioxidant support Anti-inflammatory support Improved bone health Improved immunity Improved brain function and cognition Improved cardiovascular health Improved skin health Improved digestive health Blood pressure support What causes stress, and why is it important to lower your stress levels?Have you ever met someone who doesn’t experience much stress? It’s pretty rare. While certain types of stress are good (eustress), usually intense and brief stresses like exercise, a cold shower or getting outside your comfort zone every now and then, long term, chronic stress (distress) has been proven to be a significant factor in creating a large variety of health problems. There are different categories of Stress: Mental Stress, like anxious thoughts and worrying about the past or future Chemical Stresses, like toxins and infections Emotional Stresses, like Anger and Sadness, or traumas And Physical Stresses, like Hunger, Cold, Exhaustion etc All of these are, to some degree, ‘normal’, and yet any of these stresses, once excessive, can cause significant and debilitating levels of suffering (distress), which can lead to health issues sooner or later.Any of the above stimuli can lead to being in a state of stress, which is where your fight or flight response activates your adrenal glands to release a cocktail of Neurochemicals into your body to help cope with the situation. Adrenaline, Noradrenaline and Cortisol are the 3 main Neurochemicals that are released.Adrenaline and Noradrenaline increase your heart rate, bring more blood flow into the muscles and lungs, give you a surge of energy and raise your blood pressure.Cortisol increases glucose levels in your blood, activates your brain to use more glucose and makes the substances that repair tissues more readily available in your body. All of this response is Good and Healthy, IF it is temporary (a few hours at most) and occasional (not every day). When you’re stressed, you can feel: Angry, irritable or uptight Overwhelmed Unable to focus Anxious and Worried Afraid If the Stress is Extreme enough, or Chronic enough, or both, you can go into another mode called the Dorsal Vagal Mode. In this state, the body has decided it is not worth fighting anymore, and the best strategy is to conserve energy and ‘play dead.’In this case, heart rate and blood pressure can go down, respiration decreases, energy production and metabolism decreases, and the person experiences very little energy or motivation, due to downregulation of Dopamine. This is often described as being depressed [1].In either case, whether you stay Chronically in a high stress state, or a Depressed state, or vacillation between the two, Prolonged exposure to these stress states can lead to many health problems, such as: High or Low Blood Pressure Heart problems Obesity Blood Sugar Dysregulation Skin Conditions Digestive Problems Allergies and Intolerances Exhaustion Trouble sleeping Headaches and dizziness Uncontrollable muscle tension, such as the clenching of your jaw Aches and pains Weakened immune system, often leading to repeated and/or chronic infections Difficulties having desire for sex (women) or inability to have sex (men). Panic attacks Can You Test For Stress? The best test for Stress is a 24 hour Saliva Cortisol Test, preferably with DHEA included. This gives you a snapshot of how much stress you are experiencing throughout the day, and can also give some clues as to whether the stress has been long term, and how depleted you are from it, if at all.The Top 8 Ways to Lower Your Stress Levels:Although there are situations that are out of your control that cause stress, the one thing you can learn to have control over is your emotional response to those situations. In other words, Stress is not something that happens to you, it’s your response to what happens to you. However, the stress response is largely automatic, so the only way to change how much situations ’stress you out’ is to retrain your nervous system to respond to situations in a more optimal way.Until recently, mainstream science believed that our ability to change our stress response was limited, but Wim Hof helped prove that we can control our response to even the most extreme stresses, proving his point by breaking dozens of world records and helping seemingly anyone who trained under him to completely change their stress response, e.g. by showing them how to climb to the top of Mount Everest unassisted wearing very little clothing! On a more practical, everyday level, there’s a variety of lifestyle changes you can make to help lower your stress levels, such as: Meditating. Studies have shown the positive impacts of meditation on stress levels [2]. This is traditionally used for lowering mental stress particularly, and is also great for lowering emotional stress. Eat a healthy organic diet. The negative effects of stress on your body can be lessened by eating a healthier, organic diet [3]. This reduces your Chemical Stress load. Do breathing exercises [4] which can lower your heart rate, blood pressure and reduce anxiety. There are many out there to try. This is traditionally used for lowering emotional stress particularly. Exercise regularly. Physical activity is a great way to have temporary physical stress which then actually lowers your overall stress and clears your mind [5].   Talk to someone about your problems. Simply “getting it off your chest” is a great way to reduce the pressure and stress you feel. Great for mental and emotional stress. Stay social. All humans are, to some degree, social beings, and social isolation has been proven to increase stress levels [6]. Make sure you interact with people who do not consistently increase your emotional and mental stress! Take some time off work. Whether that be a holiday, or giving yourself 2 days off a week - time off work where you can think about nothing and totally relax is essential to lower your stress. Support your body with nutrients and minerals that will help you to be more relaxed, and lower your stress levels: Calcium. Extreme fatigue can be caused by calcium deficiency, which can lead to insomnia [7]. Insomnia can lead to feeling worried, which in turn makes the insomnia worse! When we are sleep deprived, we are more susceptible to stress [8].B-Complex Vitamins. B vitamins, such as thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pyridoxine, biotin, d-calcium and pantothenate play crucial roles in mood regulation [9].Plus, the more stress we experience, the more B Vitamins we use. And then when we get low in B Vitamins we are less resilient to stress. Another vicious circle! Break the cycle with extra B Vitamins.Magnesium. Research suggests that being deficient in magnesium can increase your susceptibility to stress and anxiety [10], which causes further magnesium loss, and more stress [11].Zinc. Over time, zinc supplementation [12] can help to stabilize cortisol levels and raise your mood [13].Potassium. Studies have shown that potassium plays an important role in helping to regulate blood pressure [14].GABA. GABA (gamma aminobutyric acid) is an amino acid that naturally occurs in the body. It works as a neurotransmitter in the brain by attaching to GABA receptors (a protein in the brain) to produce a calming effect. As such, it can help reduce anxiety, stress and fear and also help with sleep [15].Lemon Balm. Lemon balm can help to reduce anxiety and symptoms of stress which helps you to relax more easily [16].A study showed that laboratory-induced psychological stress was eased when taking lemon balm and those who took the lemon balm self reported increased calmness and alertness [17].Passionflower. Passionflower (P. incarnata) is a herb that is thought to help lessen symptoms of insomnia [18] and reduce anxiety [19].It potentially does this by boosting the levels of GABA in your brain.Oat Straw. Oat straw has been used traditionally as a natural remedy to help relieve anxiety, depression and stress [20].It is thought to do this by inhibiting PDE4 (enzyme phosphodiesterase type 4), which in doing so could help relieve stress and anxiety [21].Introducing Feel Younger® Serenity Anti-Stress SupportWe understand that it’s not always easy, nor practical to implement a variety of lifestyle changes - especially all at once. We’d advise that you make as many of those changes as possible, but do so 1 or 2 at a time, make sure they stick and then move onto more.In the meantime, you can support your body with the essential nutrients and minerals it needs that can help lower your stress levels. That’s why in addition to the ingredients listed above, we’ve added the following ingredients to our Serenity Anti-Stress Support formula: Rhodiola Extract - can help to reduce anxieties and combat depress [22] Lutein - in mice, potentially helped to combat depression by protecting nerves in the hippocampus (a part of the brain responsible for emotions and memory) [23] Ashwagandha - has been used for centuries as a tonic to help calm nerves. In two studies ashwagandha was shown to improve stress and happiness, while reducing cortisol levels [24] Chamomile - A study on long-term ingestion of chamomile showed it reduced anxiety [25]   Skullcap - a study showed those who took skullcap daily for 2 weeks reported better mood compared to the placebo group [26] Hawthorn - is thought to potentially help reduce anxiety [27] and has been used traditionally in chinese medicine to help lower blood pressure [28] Bacopa - considered an adaptogenic herb (helps the body to adapt to stress), a study on rodents showed bacopa to have anti-anxiety effects similar to certain prescription medications [29] Magnolia - contains neolignans (a type of polyphenol found in plants) that is believed to have many health benefits, one of which is helping with anxiety [30] Valerian - A study on hemodialysis patients showed valerian significantly improved anxiety, stress and mood compared to a placebo [31] L-Theanine - A review on people in experiencing stressful situations found that 4 of the 5 trials showed L-theanine to reduce stress and anxiety [32] Mucuna Pruriens - can help boost dopamine levels (the ‘feel good’ hormone) [33] St John’s Wort - has ingredients that appear to help regulate and elevate mood by increasing dopamine, noradrenaline, serotonin and other chemical messengers in the brain [34] Hops - over a 4 week period, hops appeared to improve self reported symptoms of at least mid anxiety, stress and depression [35] 5 HTP - the precursor to serotonin. Having low serotonin levels can be associated with sleeping problems, anxiety, depression and more [36] By combining the ingredients listed on this page into an easy to swallow capsule, we’ve taken the stress out of buying each of these ingredients separately, researching and experimenting how much of each you should take and then incorporating them into your diet/supplement regime. How Do You Take Feel Younger® Serenity Anti-Stress Support? For best results, take 2 capsules once a day with a glass of water, 20-30 minutes before a meal.Any Cautions?ALWAYS consult a healthcare professional before taking any new supplements. It grows in waters on the rocky Atlantic coasts and is most commonly found between Europe and North America [1].Sea moss grows in a variety of colors, with numerous different shades of green, purple, red, brown, black, yellow and purple [2] - the most common being red which is commonly referred to as Irish Moss.Sea moss is a great source of iodine which is necessary to maintain a healthy thyroid [3].Sea moss (and other red seaweeds) are rich in antioxidants - compounds that help to protect your cells from oxidative damage [4].How was Sea Moss traditionally used?Irish moss was used as a “poverty food” during the Irish Potato Famine (1846-1848) because it’s particularly nutrient-dense.The strong association of Irish Moss with this particularly difficult time is one of the reasons that Sea Moss was largely ignored for many years after.Traditionally, Irish Moss was used as a cold remedy, and has also been recorded as far back as 1810 for respiratory ailments. It was also once used in the widespread treatment of pneumonia and tuberculosis. The Irish Moss health benefits were well known to the natives of Ireland, a long time before it was given a “Superfood” status.Ancient Irish tradition states that Irish Moss was carried for safety and protection and was also placed under rugs mainly for luck and wealth. In Venezuela it has been boiled in milk and served with honey for generations as a remedy to help ease chest infections and sore throats. How does Sea Moss help you?People use sea moss for its many health benefits. Sea moss is a fantastic source of minerals and vitamins - it contains 92 of the 102 minerals that the human body needs to function properly, as well as antioxidants that may benefit overall health.Seaweeds (especially brown) also contain sulfated polysaccharides, which are believed to have a myriad of health benefits [5].Some of the main potential benefits of using sea moss may include [6]: Sea Moss is rich in iodine, a micronutrient necessary for healthy thyroid function [7] A study on salmon found that seaweed supplementation helped to improve immune response and modulation [8]. Sea Moss is rich in antioxidants and immune-boosting nutrients, such as magnesium, phosphorus, zinc and iron. A study on rats found that a compound in seaweeds called fucoxanthin promoted fat metabolism [9]. Another study on pigs found that a different compound in seaweed, called alginate, seemed to prevent blood sugar spikes in pigs [10]. Other studies have also found seaweed to reduce bad (LDL) cholesterol while acting as a blood thinner, which may help reduce the risk of heart problems [11]. Irish Moss is also a great source of potassium chloride which has both anti-inflammatory and expectorant properties. Potassium chloride also has antiviral and antimicrobial agents, which can help you drain mucus from your body Sea Moss (and other seaweeds) are one of the best plant sources of omega-3 fatty acids which are essential for health - especially the heart & cardiovascular system What is Bladderwrack?Bladderwrack, scientifically known as Fucus vesiculosus [12], is another type of seaweed (brown in color) and mainly grows along the coastlines of the North and Baltic Seas, Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and can also be found in various waters in the US & Canada [13].Rich in vitamins, minerals, such as calcium, iodine, magnesium, potassium, sodium, zinc, and vitamins A and C [14] and antioxidants, many people believe that bladderwrack’s impressive nutrient profile can give many health benefits.Historically, those who lived near the sea had relatively low rates of thyroid problems, due to their iodine rich diet, which included seaweeds.2000 years ago, Greek Physician Dioscorides mentioned Bladderwrack in his “De Materia Medica”, where he recommended it for inflammation and “gouty afflictions”.Traditional medicinal practices have used it for centuries to treat an array of conditions, such as iodine deficiency, obesity, joint pain, aging skin, digestive issues, urinary tract infection, and thyroid dysfunction. In the early 1800’s. Bladderwrack was found to have a high iodine content and became widely used as treatment for goiter (a swollen neck because of large thyroid glands).By the 1860’s, Bladderwrack was also being used to counteract obesity by speeding up metabolism. Why is Bladderwrack Beneficial?Bladderwrack contains Fucoidan - a complex sulfated polysaccharide.Fucoidan seems to possess many different potential health benefits such as: Anti-Inflammatory High levels of Iodine (vital for Thyroid health) A two-phase study that featured a separate control group applied bladderwrack extract to skin samples which led to an increase in collagen production [15]. Bladderwrack also contains lots of phytochemicals - a compound found in plants that has health promoting benefits. Some of these include fucoxanthin and phlorotannins which may help lower oxidative stress [16] What is Burdock Root?Burdock is scientifically known as Arctium lappa - a plant native to Europe and Asia. It now also grows in the United StatesResearchers have uncovered many potential health benefits of burdock root [17].Burdock Root’s potential health benefits were recorded in “The Compendium of Materia Medica” from the Ming Dynasty.Traditional Chinese medicine refers to it as‘Niubang” [18] and often used Burdock to help treat flu, cold and other chest and throat infections.Burdock Root has also been used traditionally for Gastrointestinal tract problems, kidney problems, gout, catarrh, infections, lymphatic system relief, fever, blood purification, skin problems, rheumatism, stomach issues, constipation, and fluid retention. In the 12th Century, Ancient herbalists such as Hildegard of Bingen recognized Burdock’s healing powers. Why use Burdock?Burdock has many potential health benefits that stem from its anti-inflammatory, diabetic support, and microbe-fighting properties [19].The lignans and flavonoids found in burdock root are believed to be responsible for many of the potential health benefits [20]: Burdock might be beneficial for people with diabetes by stimulating insulin production, while lowering leptin. Leptin is commonly thought to help trigger weight loss… However, Leptin is actually high in people with obesity, who often become leptin resistant. In such cases, lowering leptin is good [21]. Burdock root is also thought to block the enzyme that breaks down elastin, the protein that gives the skin elasticity [22]. Feel Younger Feel Younger - Saffron Extract 88.5mg 60caps
£25.00
Would you like help with: Improved Mood Weight Management through Appetite Control Increased Serotonin Antioxidant Support Increased Libido If so, you may want to give Saffron Extract a try!It has also been shown to potentially: Protect against free radical damage in the eyes Reduce menstrual cramps Improve cognitive function What is Saffron and where does it come from?Saffron (Kesar or Za’faran), is a spice obtained from the Crocus sativus plant and is often referred to as the Golden Spice, due to its high cost and yellow color. Saffron is used for its medicinal properties, as well as a seasoning in food and as a coloring agent for over 4 millennia. Over 90% of the world’s saffron supply comes from Iran [1].The Crocus sativus flower consists of thread-like, crimson-colored structures known as stigmas. It is these stigmas that are collected and dried to create the spice Saffron [2].Saffron is made up of a variety of chemical compounds that give rise to its taste, color and health benefits.Traditional UseSaffron tinctures and extracts have been used for centuries in traditional medicine [3].Some of these uses have been, eupeptic, emmenagogue, carminative, expectorant, antispasmodic, stomachic, sedative, stimulant, diaphoretic, and aphrodisiac. In ancient Egypt, saffron was believed to be used as treatment for various ailments. How does it work? The impressive chemical components of saffron are responsible for its medicinal properties.Saffron helps increase levels of proteins required for blood flow, healthy brain activity such as BDNF, VEGF, and phosphorylated CREB [4] and development. It also acts as an antioxidant by picking up free radicals that can cause damage to proteins and DNA in cells. Saffron inhibits the buildup of the amyloid-beta protein, which is the main cause of Alzheimer’s disease [5].Saffron also inhibits the enzyme acetylcholinesterase, which raises the levels of acetylcholine in blood [6].Saffron mediates a lot of its therapeutic effects through crocin, which is converted to crocetin in the body, so it is more easily absorbed [7].Crocetin is thought to increase serotonin levels in the brain, which might explain Saffron's mood enhancing effects [8].Safranal is another of the main chemicals in saffron which [9]: Helps stimulate beta 2 receptors: Adrenergic receptors that increase blood flow and heart rate. Stimulation mimics the effects of noradrenaline and adrenaline. Inhibits histamine 1 receptors: Blocks the activity of histamine. Stimulates GABAa receptors: Mimics GABA, further increasing the brain-protective effects. Saffron also seems to have antiviral effects, which work by preventing the virus entry into cells and helps stop duplication [10].Additionally, Saffron can help with: Weight management by slowing down fat absorption and digestion, reducing calorie intake by lowering appetite [11], and improving glucose and fat utilization for energy Improving libido by acting as an aphrodisiac [12] People mainly use Saffron to: Lower Appetite & Manage WeightResearch has shown that saffron may help curb your appetite by preventing snacking.Women taking saffron supplements in an 8-week study snacked less frequently, lost significantly more weight than women in the placebo group and felt more full [13].In another 8-week study, saffron extract supplementation seemed to remarkably help reduce BMI, waist circumference, appetite and waist circumference [14].Elevate MoodSaffron extract may support elevated mood and mental health by increasing levels of norepinephrine and dopamine [15].Saffron contains crocin, which the body converts to crocetin. Crocetin is thought to increase serotonin levels in the brain [16] . A study that was conducted on 73 18-60 year olds who self-reported feelings of anxiety and/or stress and daily low mood showed that Saffron had a positive effect on their moods [17].Why Try Feel Younger® Saffron Pure Extract 88.5mg?Our Saffron Pure Extract capsules are high quality, high purity, all natural, vegan and vegetarian friendly, lactose free and do not contain any nasty binders. How do you take it?For best results, take one capsule twice a day 20-30 minutes before a meal.Any cautions?Should not be taken by pregnant or breastfeeding women.Although side effects are seldom seen with saffron supplementation, minor discomfort such as dry mouth, dizziness, nausea and headaches may occur. Some people may also show allergic reactions to the carotenoids found in saffron.ALWAYS consult a healthcare professional before taking any new supplements. Feel Younger Feel Younger - Resveratrol 600mg 60caps
£35.00
Would you like… Heart Health Support Optimal Blood Pressure Vascular System Support Cholesterol Support Antioxidant Support Inflammatory Support Hay Fever Relief If so, you may want to give Resveratrol. It is also believed to provide: Telomere support, by increasing the enzyme Telomerase which lengthens telomeres Boosted brain function & cognition Help with regulating blood sugar levels Joint pain relief What is Resveratrol and where does it come from?Resveratrol is a small polyphenol found in the skin of grapes, which it naturally produces to defend against parasites and toxins [1].Polyphenols are a type of compound found in plants that can offer a variety of health benefits.Regular consumption of polyphenols is thought to boost brain health, heart health, digestion and help regulate blood sugar levels.Polyphenols, which are a type of color pigment created by plants, act as antioxidants, which means they can help neutralize free radicals that damage your body’s cells [2].Resveratrol can also be found in peanuts, soy, various berries, Itadori tea (made from Japanese Knotweed) and is particularly abundant in red wine. How was Resveratrol Discovered?Resveratrol was first isolated in 1939 by Takaoka from Veratrum grandiflorum O. Loes.Since its discovery and almost 60 years later, the small polyphenol has undergone huge scientific interest, especially due to the work of Dr David Sinclair, a Harvard Scientist focused on anti aging technologies.Appearing in over 20,000 research papers, Resveratrol has inspired conferences, chemical derivatives, patents and more.Resveratrol has been used traditionally to help treat inflammation of the skin, UTI’s, stomach aches and fungal infections.Resveratrol is believed to have various potential health benefits, some of which are: Improved heart health by lowering LDL (bad) cholesterol [3] Lowering blood pressure [4] and so supporting the vascular system Antioxidant properties [5] Anti-inflammatory properties [6] People mainly use Resveratrol for: Improved Heart HealthLowering bad cholesterol (LDL) levels that are too high helps lessen the chance of developing heart problems.A study on mice suggested that resveratrol reduced diet induced LDL cholesterol levels and slowed the rate of atherosclerosis progression [7].Because of resveratrol’s antioxidant properties, it may help to lower blood pressure.A review found that resveratrol may help to lower blood pressure, which in turn reduces the pressure on artery walls when the heart beats [8].Anti-Aging PropertiesMany studies have been conducted on Resveratrol and its anti-aging effects, including by top researchers in Harvard. The main 2 ways that Resveratrol helps with the aging process, is through reducing oxidative stress [9] and increasing the length of telomeres [10].In short, telomeres are segments of DNA that can be found at the ends of chromosomes. As we age, the length of our telomeres shorten. Progressive telomere shortening leads to apoptosis (programmed cell death), senescence (loss of a cell’s power of division and growth) and the oncogenic transformation of somatic cells (genetic and epigenetic alterations that affect survival and cell proliferation) [11].These three things have been associated with shorter telomeres and affect the health and lifespan of a person. They also increase the incidence of disease and lower survival time.A study on mice showed the positive effects of Resveratrol on aging, and how it dramatically improved telomerase activity, telomere length, the quality and number of oocytes, and age-related gene expression in the ovaries of mice [12].Why Try Feel Younger® Resveratrol 600mg Telomere Support? Our Resveratrol Telomere Support is high quality, high purity, gluten free, all natural, sugar free, vegan and vegetarian friendly, hormone free, lactose free and contains no nasty fillers or binders. We’ve taken the stress out of powder form supplements by producing our resveratrol into easy to swallow capsules. How do you take Feel Younger® Resveratrol 600mg?Take one capsule twice a day, preferably 20-30 minutes before a meal.Any cautions?Resveratrol has been shown to stop blood clotting in test tubes, so do not take in conjunction with anti blood clotting medications.Because resveratrol can potentially lower blood pressure, do not take alongside other blood pressure lowering medications.ALWAYS consult a healthcare professional before taking any new supplements. Feel Younger Feel Younger - Radiant Vitamin C Skin Serum 60ml
£29.00
Feel Younger® 100% Radiant Vitamin C Skin Serum with Hyaluronic Acid can help you to… Have Young, Healthy and Radiantly Glowing Skin Have Skin that is more Elastic, Smoother, and Softer Feeling Keep Your Skin Hydrated and Moisturized Rid Your Skin of Acne and Irritation Be More Confident Why is it important to support your Skin? It’s incredibly important to keep the condition of your skin in good health for a variety of reasons, other than the most obvious: because healthy skin, hair and nails makes you look a lot better! What Causes Unhealthy Skin? There are a variety of different factors that can contribute to poor skin health, such as: Poor Diet. For healthy skin, you need a variety of nutrients [1], vitamins and minerals… for example, Vitamin C is very important for creating collagen. Stress. Stress can adversely affect your skin in the way of acne outbreak, as well as advancing the aging in your skin - making you look older! [2] Dryness. If your skin is lacking moisture it can cause it to crack and break, creating an opening for harmful substances to enter our bodies. Not only that, it hurts! Overexposure to moisture. Excessive levels of moisture will cause your skin to prune (wrinkle) and soften, which leaves it more susceptible to damage.Too many long, hot showers can also dry your skin out and frequent contact with moisture or chemicals, such as cleaning products, washing up liquid or nail polish and remover. Smoking. Cigarette smoking and the causative effects it has on our skin has been studied heavily. Smoking affects several biophysical characteristics of the skin [3]. Popping pimples & picking scabs. Although it’s extremely tempting, you should never pop your pimples! When you do, it causes the skin to rupture, leaving a blemish.Scabs are formed over wounds (areas of the skin that are trying to heal themselves) to protect them. If you pick at scabs or remove them completely, especially too early - you increase the risk of scarring, as well as slowing down the wound healing process. Underlying conditions. Your skin can be the first to experience symptoms if there is something else going on in your body. How can you tell if your Skin is healthy, or if it needs some support?Your skin can show you that it’s unhappy in many different ways: Discoloration (hyperpigmentation) or dullness Itchiness Cracked or splits easily Moles growing in size Yellowing (jaundice) Wrinkles appear in places you wouldn’t expect Red patches (sometimes with scales - psoriasis) Hardening Acne All of these symptoms could be signs that there is something more serious going on inside your body.If you are worried about your skin, it’s best to speak to your physician to determine the best course of action. The top 8 ways to improve the health of your skinThere are a variety of different lifestyle changes you can make that will have a positive effect on your skin and overall health: Eat an organic, nutrient dense diet. A healthy diet full of the nutrients and antioxidants your body needs will help to bring back a youthful radiant glow to your skin. Reduce your stress. Meditation is a great way to reduce stress [4], and it can directly increase your skin resistance. You could also try supplementing with our 5 HTP, Serenity Anti-Stress Support, Saffron Pure Extract OR Organic Ashwagandha with Black Pepper supplements. Keep your skin hydrated and moisturized. In doing so, your skin will retain elasticity and will not break as easily. You can keep your skin hydrated by drinking at least 6-8 cups of water a day, and by applying natural oils and moisturizers.   Don’t get too wet! There are many household chores that cause our skin (especially our hands) to get too wet for prolonged periods of time. A classic example of this is washing up - wear gloves! You should also wear gloves when handling any chemicals or products that aren’t designed to go on our skin. This is because your skin will absorb the product, such as a cleaning spray, and that will have a negative impact on your liver trying to rid your body of the chemicals, as well as causing rashes (contact dermatitis) Quit smoking. Smoking is packed full of nasty chemicals that do our bodies no good. Nicotine (a chemical found in cigarettes and vapes) contributes and advances premature aging of the skin. It also constricts your blood vessels, which hinders your blood's ability to flow and carry vital nutrients to your skin [5]. Don’t pop your pimples or pick at scabs. When pores on your skin become clogged with excess oil and dead skin cells it can leave them vulnerable to infection by external bacteria and a pimple will form. This is your body's natural way of dealing with the bacteria, so leave it alone!Picking at pimples or scabs will leave blemishes (little scars) that will mark your skin, sometimes permanently! Underlying conditions. Rashes, discoloration and jaundice are all examples of underlying conditions that can show up in your skin, and it’s best to consult a physician as soon as possible. Support your skin with the nourishing nutrients and minerals it needs: Vitamin C - Vitamin C can’t be produced by the human body. We are one of the only mammals that can’t make its own. However, it’s an extremely important nutrient with many impressive health benefits. One of those benefits, that has been studied heavily, is the positive effects it has on our skin and collagen production [6]. Because it can help to boost collagen production, this may improve the tightness of skin.Vitamin C is moisturizing and can help in the treatment of acne [7]. It can also inhibit the production of melanin (melanin is a pigment that makes skin darker) [8] which can help dark spots to fade and give your skin an overall brightening.Vitamin C is also a powerful antioxidant and can act as an anti-inflammatory agent which can help to reduce puffiness in skin, as well as applying a soothing effect [9]. Its antioxidant activity also helps to protect your skin from the sun and its harmful UV radiation. It’s also believed that vitamin C can help relieve the darkness of bags under your eyes, as shown in a study evaluating the efficacy of 3 treatments (including vitamin C) [10].Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera). Aloe vera has moisturizing and anti-aging properties [11] and is very effective at soothing burns [12], can help to reduce acne [13] and also has an antiseptic effect.Methylsulfonylmethane. Also known as MSM, Methylsulfonylmethane can strengthen keratin to help improve skin health. It can also help by reducing inflammation and helping to prevent wrinkles and other forms of premature aging in the skin [14].Hamamelis Virginiana. Commonly goes by the name of witch hazel, this plant can help to reduce inflammation with its powerful anti-inflammatory properties [15].Witch hazel has been shown to help reduce skin inflammation and relieve facial skin irritation [16].Kosher Vegetable Glycerin. Glycerin has become extremely popular in skin products, because it possesses powerful moisturizing effects [17]. It can also provide a barrier to protect your skin from cold and windy weather [18], as well as helping to ease irritation and soothe your skin.Simmondsia Chinensis. Also known as Jojoba Oil - it’s waxy in nature and can create a soothing layer on the surface of your skin to help ease irritation. This layer of oil on your skin will also help to regulate sebum production in your facial hair follicles.Jojoba oil also contains vitamin E, which is a powerful antioxidant. A study found that applying antioxidants to skin helped to improve the synthesis of collagen [19].Introducing Feel Younger® 100% Radiant Vitamin C Skin Serum with Hyaluronic Acid 2oz By combining the ingredients listed above into an easy to apply skin serum - we’ve taken the stress out of researching and buying each of these ingredients separately, and then trying to mix them together into a “beard formula” you can use daily. Here at Feel younger, we believe in providing top quality products at reasonable prices and use only the best ingredients we can get our hands on.As well as the ingredients above, we’ve also added the following to our skin serum:Deionized Water, Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide, Carbomer, (2s)-2-Amino-5, Guanidinopentanoic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin, d-alpha Tocopheryl Acetate (vitamin E), Centella Asiatica, Equisetum Arvense, Pelargonium Graveolens and Taraxacum Offinale to further enhance the effects. How Do You Use Feel Younger® Radiant Vitamin C Skin Serum with Hyaluronic Acid 2ozWash and pat your skin dry before use.Apply a small amount to freshly cleansed and toned face, neck and decollete areas, avoiding direct contact with eyes.Give the serum some time to absorb before you use any other products on your skin.Any Cautions?Although extremely rare, the combination of ingredients found in this product may cause skin irritation or rashes. Feel Younger Feel Younger - Probiotic 40 Billion + Matrek 60caps
£35.00
If you’d like to… Prevent or Reduce Diarrhea Resolve Constipation Alleviate Symptoms of IBS Help Support The Healthy Bacteria in Your Intestines to improve Digestive Health Restore Your Digestive Tract’s Natural Microbiome After Antibiotics You may want to give our Probiotic 40 Billion with Maktrek® Bi-Pass Technology supplement a try!Probiotics can also potentially give you a whole host of other health benefits, such as: Immune System Support Improved Heart Health Improved Skin Health Improved Nutrient Absorption Improved Weight Loss Reduced Inflammation Reduced Symptoms of Allergies Why is it Important to Support Your Gastrointestinal System?Your gastrointestinal tract (gut) is a long tube that stretches from the mouth, all the way to your anus. It is responsible for 2 extremely important processes in our body. The first process is digestion. No matter how healthy (or not) your diet may be, optimal gut health is important for digestion so that you can absorb nutrients from food efficiently, utilizing the building blocks that you need to maintain your body, as well as efficiently converting the food you eat into energy. The second extremely important process is your immune system. In fact, around 70% of your immune system is in your gut, which means good gut health is essential for optimal immune function to fight off bacteria, viruses and other pathogens that are dangerous to our bodies and can make us unwell.A healthy gut should contain many billions of “good” bacteria which multiply rapidly and create an acidic environment in the intestines so that the “bad” bacteria isn’t able to proliferate. The balance of these bacteria is often referred to as the gut microbiome (referring to microbes that are present in your digestive system). When your gut is not in good health, it will struggle to get rid of toxins (like endotoxin, believed to be a key factor in premature aging [1]) and substances that are left over from metabolic processes (metabolic waste) that must be excreted because they cannot be used by our bodies. What Impacts the Health of Your Gut?Digestive symptoms such as diarrhea, constipation, bloating, excess gas, abdominal pain, acid reflux and more can develop, but poor gut health can cause inflammation throughout the body, leading to a myriad of different health issues. In fact, ancient traditional modalities of health and healing, like Ayurvedic Medicine, actually believed that ‘all’ ill health had its origins in the gut.The gut is also known as an “extension of the brain” because its walls are lined with a system of neurons that help to govern the function of the gastrointestinal tract, which is known as the intrinsic or enteric nervous system.Again, this was known for thousands of years by Ancient Easters systems like Taoism, the origin of Acupuncture and Chi Kung, who often referred to the gut as the ‘second brain’.Poor gut health has also been linked to the development of autoimmune disorders. There are many things that can damage the health of your gut, such as: Genetic Factors (see Genetic Insights for more info on how your genetics may increase the likelihood of having gut issues.) Poor diet, including excess sugar and processed foods Nutritional Deficiencies Eating in a stressed state, usually leading to eating too quickly and not chewing your food enough Dehydration   GastroIntestinal Dysbiosis, especially SIBO where too many bacteria grow in the small intestine (they are mainly meant to be in the large intestine, even ‘good’ bacteria can cause issues if too many are in the small intestine.) Food intolerances (although these maybe a symptom of gut issues, rather than cause) Frequent Antibiotics Alcohol (along with any other downsides, alcohol kills all bacteria, good and bad, on contact, similar to an antibiotic, which is why it’s used as a disinfectant.) Lack of exercise Smoking Lack of or Poor Quality Sleep Chronic Stress Can You Test The Bacteria in Your Gut?Because your gut microbiome is so important to your overall health [2], it’s important to understand what’s going on, and how your gut is balanced.Microbiome tests can be conducted by your physician or at home. Although some tests use blood or saliva, the most comprehensive microbiome tests will require a stool sample.Your stool sample will be sent to a laboratory to be tested where they will analyze the balance of microbes in your gastrointestinal system. This will help you and your doctor understand if there is an imbalance of microbes that is causing problems to your overall health. We recommend the Biomesight test for giving a very detailed and accurate picture at a very affordable price. The Top 8 Ways to Improve Your Gut Health:Here’s the top 8 changes you can make to your lifestyle to help support and improve your gastrointestinal health: Eat a clean, diverse organic diet full of nutrient dense foods. Processed (especially fast) foods cause harm to your gut microbiome [3].Be sure to include prebiotic foods (a type of fiber that isn’t digested) [4] such as oats, bananas, chicory and asparagus, because they inhibit the growth of certain types of good bacteria. Note: prebiotic foods can make issues worse IF you have too many bacteria in the small intestine. If you suspect this is the case, get the advice of a professional who specializes in gut health.   Eat in a relaxed state, where you will naturally eat slower and chew your food properly. Being in a stressed state is sometimes necessary, but while you are in a stressed state, digestion slows down significantly, and you produce much less of the digestive juices you need to sanitize and process your food, like saliva, stomach acid and bile. You’ll also tend to eat more quickly and not chew enough. So make sure you calm down before you start eating, even if it’s just taking a few deep breaths. This is where the tradition of saying grace comes from: even if you have no religious leanings, you may want to consider it as a way of refocusing your mind to be in a less stressed state, which will help you digest better! And once you’re relaxed, it will be easier to chew your food enough, sometimes as much as 30 times before swallowing, which helps your body to more easily digest the food and absorb as many nutrients as possible [5]. Find out if you’re intolerant to certain foods. Eating foods you're intolerant to will affect your digestive health, resulting in bloating, gas, diarrhea and more [6]. Speak to your physician to organize a skin prick or blood test.Another way to narrow down your intolerances is to record the foods you’ve eaten - be sure to write down how these foods make you feel. Only change one or two things at a time, so that you can easily identify any changes. If you suspect a food, many recommend an elimination diet, where you remove the suspected food for around a week, and then introduce it again, seeing if you notice any symptoms when you add it back into your diet.  Limit alcohol consumption. Alcohol can induce changes to the microbiome in the gastrointestinal tract, (due to its ability to kill bacteria, but not kill and often feed yeasts such as candida) which can lead to increased oxidative stress amongst other problems [7]. Reduce your stress. Chronic Stress can seriously affect your guts microbiome composition [8].Occasional Stress is healthy, but ongoing stress is not. If you struggle to relax, there are many ways to lower your stress levels, such as meditation. You can also try supplementing with our Serenity Anti-Stress Support or 5 HTP products. Improve your sleep. Poor sleep and sleep deprivation can affect your microbiome diversity [9]. Our Sleep Aid Plus can also help, and read the page for more info on how to Sleep better naturally. Drink more water and stay hydrated. This is another way to encourage microbiome diversity [10], and staying hydrated is essential to your overall health, as well as reducing the likelihood of constipation.   Take a probiotic full of live “good” bacteria that can help to boost your gut microbiome: Probiotic Ingredients That Can Increase the Health of Your GutLactobacillus acidophilus. Often referred to as L. acidophilus, lactobacillus acidophilus is a variety of bacteria that can be found in the intestines which is essential for human health [11].Bifidobacterium lactis. Another type of bacteria that can be found in the gut, B.lactis or B. animalis as it is sometimes referred to, helped to prevent cases of acute diarrhea in infants [12].Lactobacillus plantarum. Found mainly in fermented plant foods such as pickles, L. plantarum has been shown to have anti-inflammatory, blood sugar regulatory, anti-weight gain and antioxidant properties. Studies have shown L. plantarum to reduce the incidence of abdominal pain, loose stools and diarrhea associated with antibiotics [13].Fructooligosaccharide. Found in foods such as garlic, onion and blue agave and sometimes referred to as FOS - fructooligosaccharide are prebiotic (compounds in foods that help the growth and activity of microorganisms that are beneficial) and can provide some protection against food-related illnesses such as salmonella [14].Introducing Feel Younger® Probiotic 40 Billion with Maktrek® Bi-Pass TechnologyIn addition to the above ingredients, we’ve added Maktrek’s patented proprietary Bi-Pass Technology.Maktrek is a patented, groundbreaking formula that enables better absorption of probiotics. This is especially important because most probiotics don’t actually absorb efficiently in the digestive tract and are usually just broken down by digestive acids in the stomach. With Maktrek Bi-Pass Technology, the easy to swallow capsule has an added layer of protection that allows the probiotic to travel through the stomach without being broken down. Once in the intestines, the capsule can release the probiotic where your body can use the live bacteria effectively. We understand that it’s not always easy, nor practical to implement a variety of lifestyle changes - especially all at once. We’d advise that you make as many of the changes listed further up this page as possible, but to do so 1 or 2 at a time, make sure they stick and then move onto more.In the meantime, you can support your body with essential good bacteria it needs to maintain a healthy gut microbiome.By combining these bacteria into an easy to swallow capsule with Maktrek Bi-Pass Technology, we’ve taken the stress out of using probiotics that can’t efficiently and effectively deliver the bacteria to where it needs to be.Here at Feel younger, we believe in providing strong doses at reasonable prices. Our Probiotic capsules provide a strong and healthy dose of billions of live bacteria, and will cost you no more than $35, with discounts available on multiple bottle and subscription purchases. How Do You Take Feel Younger® Probiotic 40 Billion with Maktrek® Bi-Pass Technology?Take two capsules once a day.DO NOT exceed two capsules a day.Any Cautions?Although rare, some people may experience bloating, gas or constipation when taking probiotics.ALWAYS consult a healthcare professional before taking any new supplements. Feel Younger Feel Younger - Omega 3 Fish Oil EPA+DHA 720mg 60caps
£29.00
Do you struggle with… Fatigue Dry skin Mood swings or depression Anxiety Poor memory Heart Problems Poor circulation If you answered yes to any of the above, you may be deficient in Omega-3 fatty acids, specifically EPA and DHA. Supplementing with omega-3s may be able to help. The potential benefits of omega-3s include the following(1): Reduces Depression and Anxiety Promote Brain Health During Pregnancy and Early Life Reduce Symptoms of ADHD in Children Reduces Inflammation May Improve Bone and Joint Health Improve Eye Health Improve Risk Factors for Heart Disease Reduce Symptoms of Metabolic Syndrome May Help Prevent Cancer What are Omega 3, EPA and DHA?Omega-3s are a family of essential fatty acids that play important roles in your body and may provide a number of health benefits (2).As your body cannot produce them on its own, you must get them from your diet. Common foods that are high in omega-3 fatty acids include fatty fish, fish oils, flax seeds, chia seeds, and walnuts. There are three main types of omega-3 fatty acids — ALA, DHA, and EPA.ALA Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) is the most common omega-3 fatty acid in your diet (3).Your body mainly uses it for energy, but it can also be converted into the biologically active forms of omega-3, EPA and DHA.However, this conversion process is inefficient. Only a small percentage of ALA is converted into the active forms (4).ALA is found in foods like flax seeds, flaxseed oil, canola oil, chia seeds, walnuts, hemp seeds, and soybeans.EPA Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) is mostly found in animal products, such as fatty fish and fish oil. However, some microalgae also contain EPA.It has several functions in your body. EPA prevents the blood from clotting easily, reduces triglyceride levels in the blood, and has effects that might reduce pain and swelling. (5) Getting more EPA in your diet has positive effects on coronary heart disease, high blood pressure, and inflammation. (6)DHA Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is the most important omega-3 fatty acid in your body. It’s a key structural component of your brain, the retina of your eyes, and numerous other body parts (7).Like EPA, it occurs mainly in animal products like fatty fish and fish oil. Meat, eggs, and dairy from grass-fed animals also tend to contain significant amounts.Research shows that omega-3 fatty acids reduce inflammation and may help lower risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, cancer, and arthritis (8).Signs and symptoms of omega-3 deficiency include: (9) Skin irritation and dryness Dry Eyes Hair changes High Blood Pressure Fatigue Depression Joint pain and stiffness High Cholesterol Cardiovascular Disease Poor memory Long term omega 3 deficiencies can lead to severe health issues and chronic conditions over time. If you do not eat a diet high in oily fish, you may be at risk of a deficiency in omega-3s. And if you do eat a diet high in fish you could be at risk for high contamination from neurotoxins like mercury. There is essentially no mercury in omega-3 fish oil (10), as this neurotoxin binds to proteins and not oils.Methylmercury (MeHg) is the major organic form we are exposed to when we eat fish. All fish and shellfish contain some MeHg, but larger, longer-lived predatory fish generally have the highest levels. Methylmercury is particularly hazardous because it can cross the blood-brain barrier causing neurological impairment. (11) For this reason, many health advocates caution against eating a diet very high in fish.It is also important to have the proper ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids in your diet (12) because too much omega 6 can be associated with worsening inflammation over time. (13). In fact, chronic inflammation may be one of the leading drivers of the most serious modern diseases. Those who follow a Western diet are typically eating way too many omega-6s relative to omega-3s. Adding an omega 3 supplement to your diet can optimize the balance of the omega fats which can reduce your risk of heart disease, chronic inflammation and cancer. (14)How do you know if you have a deficiency in Omega 3s?The only way to be sure is to get a blood test that tests your levels of Omega 3s, ideally including the ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6. Although this is unfortunately not a test commonly done by MDs (yet), it is available privately at a relatively low cost in many countries. If testing is not an option, second best would be to evaluate if you are consuming an optimal amount of Omega 3 fats, specifically EPA and DHA. If you do not eat oily fish several times a week, then having a suboptimal deficiency is certainly a possibility, if you also don’t supplement this important nutrient, especially if you consume a lot of vegetable oils in your diet. Why use Feel Younger® Omega 3 Fish Oil with EPA and DHA?There are many different omega-3 supplements available. Not all omega 3s are equal in their health providing benefits, and there are a few reasons for this:1. Many company’s Omega 3 supplements don’t contain enough EPA and DHA.Feel Younger Omega 3 has a high amount of DHA and EPA per serving. EPA and DHA are considered the most important omega-3 fatty acids. EPA is extremely important for mood health, reducing blood clotting, pain and swelling.   DHA is necessary for the functional development of the brain and is also linked to improved heart health, better vision, and reduced inflammatory response.2. Many other Omega 3 supplements have a bad ratio of EPA to DHABoth DHA and EPA can reduce inflammation. However, it has been shown that a greater ratio of EPA to DHA seems to address inflammatory risk factors more effectively. (16)  Feel Younger Omega-3 has a higher ratio of EPA to DHA per serving.3. Many dietary sources of omega 3s are contaminated with Mercury and PCBs and other supplements can expose you to vitamin A toxicity. (17)Feel Younger Omega-3 is sourced freshly from high quality anchovies. They have some of the highest amounts of these beneficial fatty acids of all fish and seafood and despite their size, are densely packed with nutrition. Anchovies are a purer source of omega 3s compared to larger species of fatty fish which contain higher levels of pollutants and toxins. Swordfish, ahi and bigeye tuna, marlin, shark, tilefish, king mackerel and other fatty fish all contain high levels of contaminants. These larger fish that are higher up the food chain, and have lived longer, have had more time to accumulate toxins and pose the greatest risk.Feel Younger Omega 3 Fish Oil has 2400mg’s of Fish Oil including 864 mg of EPA and 576 mg of DHA giving you a high amount of essential omega-3s free of heavy metals and a good ratio of EPA to DHA per serving in a high quality supplement. How do you take it?Ideally take with water alongside a meal, for maximum absorption, but can be taken any time, or as directed by a healthcare professional.Any cautions? (19)Though omega-3 supplements are generally considered safe, you should check with a healthcare professional before taking them. If you are allergic to fish or shellfish, seek advice from your healthcare professional first.Fish oil is likely safe for most people in doses of 5 grams or less daily (20).Fish oil might slow blood clotting. Taking fish oil along with medications that also slow blood clotting might increase the risk of bruising and bleeding. (21)Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any changes to your diet or lifestyle.
